I'm disappointed with Anime.
Western Cartoons have at least funny humor.

what anime have you been watching?
Problem with anime is that there is a lot of weird shit amongst it, and that influences the first judgement of people new to anime.
I really do like the good series (often ones that run for 1 or 2 seasons and thus END). They often put a lot more work in creating a fictional universe.
I prefer anime, there are some cool American cartoons but anime is awesome.

Restated for the the seventh time, not all Anime is Lucky Star.
Ponyo is an animated movie not an animated show!
It's also old skool hand drawn not that dumb computer shiz.
Doesn't matter, it's still anime.
Just like Snow White and Toy Story is cartoons.

good animes
Akira is average. (old dude)
The one down in the left, Tokimeki Memorial is super average, but I kinda like it for that, but not recommendable.
Ponyo (down to the right) is fucking clichè and boring.
Kobato is bad (girl with long hair and stuffed animal), just in there for the style.
who could live without hot anime girls
I could.

Lucky star? Seriously?? Lucky Star?!
It would have been better if you put K-ON in there instead
Ok, I said anime because of the first Dragonball and Dragonball Z, as for American Anime, old stuff such as Dexter's Lab and Johnny Bravo and such were great, shows like Simpson and Family Guy are still great, but its these new kid shows on TV that make me want to go the opposite direction.
American animation. I'm not interested about anime. It's too wierd, man.
I actually used to completely despise anime in all its forms. I had never really watched it, but somehow I constantly found new reasons to hate it and ridicule all the weeaboos who I hated with a passion.
Then something terrible happened. I made friends with and fell in love with a weeaboo. After a long period of denial, I reluctantly decided to give anime a chance.
To my surprise, it turned out that every anime isn't full of retarded ninjas and women disguised as 12 year olds. There's actually some really good stuff out there and it is possible to watch it without going insane.

I see from your avatar that you've watched Bakemonogatari? Looks familiar.
American animation, because of South Park. I fucking love South Park.

You're quite right about that.
Cappa mikey
If Ozzy Osbourne picks American i have to take Anime i'm sorry.
Lucky star? Seriously?? Lucky Star?!

That image was to show different art style in anime, not pander to your interests. K-on! and Lucky Star have diferent art styles so exchanging one for the other would accomplish nothing.
Experience at talking out your ass.
Nope.
what anime have you been watching?
A lot.
There is one good series, but after 3 episodes later, the humor started to repeat all the time.

Yeah this.
Then I actually watched some.
man this a really hot debate, my opinion on animation is like barbecue, as long as the creators poured their hearts and souls into creating the final result, it's all good.
anime
i love me some good cartoons though, at least when they were good
Now, THIS, this is a good indication towards anime not just having one style. The second season of this show also has an episode that has a lot of different animation techniques in it.
It's just a OP, but still.
