Kohl's actually has this really awesome brand called Apt. 9. I love them.
My stand on prices is pretty reasonable actually, let's take Polo shirts for example.
Superdry Polo's retail at £30, which is a reasonable price in my mind, the polos are far more soft and comfortable than any polos I've felt and they're muscle fit, so they fit well in a smaller size than regular/classic sizing. Stitching is good quality and they come in a wide variety of colours and styles.
Hollister sells polos for less than this, at about £15-20. That feel about the same. They have less variety of plain coloured polo shirts but they do have a wide variety of bright striped/ coloured versions which look awesome.
Ralph Lauren sells Polos for £90, this is overpriced in my opinion. Added to this, they feel awfully itchy, and whilst they come in a wide variety of colours I feel they fit less well than the Superdry ones, and they don't have many varied styles, just the same pony (which is still pretty cool though).
Other designer brands sell polos for £100+ and right now, I'd never think of paying that much for a polo, because it is very much overpriced. Maybe when I'm working in a proper job, full time, I'll consider these if they're extraordinary.
Just go to the darn supermarket
Define:Fashionable
Besides, I've never seen a raincoat as cool as this one:

Leather trench coats are cooler. :clint:
Leather trench coats are cooler. :clint:
If you need to shoot up a mall, yeah
muscle fit,
UGH
I hate that clothes are starting to require an awesome body to wear them. If you've got an awesome body then feel free to show it off, but when clothing starts to apparently assume that you have bulging pecs and tree trunks for arms it just embarrasses everyone who doesn't work out.
Fuck fashion, Penneys/Primark shite does me grand.
The clint emote reminded me: I want a brown duster coat so I can pretend to be an old west sheriff
Leather trench coats are cooler. :clint:
No doubt, but if you wear leather in the rain it goes shitty.
Girls don't care too much about appearance, It's more about doing the best you can with what you've got, that's why I didn't bother to mention attracting women in the OP.
I find my shoes make a good talking point though, and a lot of people tend to notice them and pass comment. To date I've never received a negative comment on my shoes.
I dislike your shoes. They look appropriate for clowns.
Consider this a negative comment.
To be honest, I don't find fashion too important. All you really need is some jeans, a t-shirt (not metal band t-shirt) and a good pair of shoes and you are pretty much 'fashionable' for the next ten years. Most of fashion pioneers and people 'pushing the boundary' tend to be like explorers who head out in search for treasure in dense African jungle and end up in Blackpool playing in an arcade. It's tacky, shiny and you should probably go back to where you came from.

Why do you say metal band?
The most fashionable clothing i have ever bought were gaming shirts from HMV. I have had many girlfriends and no-one has ever said anything about my choice of fashion. You don't need to be fashionable to have friends and be considered awesome. But suits are still good for confidence/Formal circumstances (i have no idea how to spell circumstance D:)
Why do you say metal band?
Because most of the band t-shirts I see are all from metal bands. In fact, it's almost exclusively from metal bands and they never look good.

Guess what
that second statement means you have designed a specific style for yourself and it negates the first statement - you have designated a part of your style as "important", namely no band shirts.

Maybe because metal is a great genre?
People wear them for other genres but they aren't as devoted as metal heads are, which is why you see less.
scope. fashion.
lol
Fashion =/= style
Part of it could be because the last 10 years of my life have been involving Design of some sort, I'm studying a Design course at university, and I aspire to Design.
And dressing well has nothing to do with getting friends or being considered awesome, I don't think this at all for a second, that's why I didn't state it in the OP.
I think it could help, however, if you were an unconfident person, then dressing well, working out and grooming could give you the confidence you need to get out and meet people and make friends.
A polo shirt, a pair of levis authentics, and a pair of adidas superstars. just perfect for me.

bingo
exactly what I've been trying to say
He has a fashion sense above a plain t-shirt and jeans. Perhaps he'll be one of the Facepunchers to get a girlfriend before 40.
So what you're saying is that the only way to get a girl is by wearing fashion clothes? That is just fucking stupid.

Totally not gay.

Even wearing good clothes I am unconfident around strangers, it is part of my nature. Having good clothes can't override that, even with my half-decent clothes I still have enough confidence to try and strike conversation.
All in all, "fashionable" clothes don't help you interact with worthwhile people, only people who think clothes matter.
I basically just swan around in skinny trousers and shirts now
tasteful graphic-t + converse + aviators + a few selected pieces of jewelry = 1x10^100 times less gayer.
MOTHERFUCKING CARDIGANS.

Just started wearing these.
I really like skinny trousers, the material is a lot thinner than denim so they're nicer to wear in the summer

It's not really a specific style by excluding something. I'd bet that you don't wear dresses regularly but it doesn't make it your own 'personal style'.
Also do this for me:
1. Get out dictionary
2. Find definition of word 'too' in the context I used it in.
Maybe because metal is a great genre?

Not getting into a music debate here but you are probably right. Although I'd probably use the word loyal as opposed to devoted.

It's still ridiculously low cut at the neck. (I'm guessing you're on about that pic...)

Clothes make me happy, Social Interaction makes me happy, and Working out all make me happy.
Find the things that make you truly happy and if you want to be confident you can easily do it. If you have deeper rooted psychological problems which lead to you being unhappy or insecure for whatever reason, break them and you'll quickly find that there is nothing you can't achieve.
