You know what I hate?
Finding jeans that doesn't look like it was already worn for half a year by some guy who likes to slide on his knees around the floor is fucking IMPOSSIBLE.
I want some normal new goddamn jeans.

try www.karmaloop.com or www.revolveclothing.com if you go into department stores there's no reason you should have this problem though
then you're missing my point. I was saying clothes in fashion runway shows.
Ah, I thought by saying that about the runway shows you were generalizing about what types of clothes they wear there.

because everything in this outfit goes well with eachother
Collar goes with darker checkers on shirt which goes with shorts. Shoes are the only thing I disagree with.
Speaking of shoes, I bought these, and they look really nice going along with the blazer/some rolled up jeans.

But most of the time I just wear neutral color Vans.
oh my god this
ever since my Junior year in high school (last year, I'm a senior now) I've been a lot more confident and shit. I wear American Eagle all the time and sometimes Hollister and that shit looks great on me because it's built for my body type. not to mention it looks good and it's not shitty quality Kohls/Walmart/whatever clothes you might be accustomed to. Sure it's more expensive but I've had 3 pairs of jeans from AE for years now and they hardly have any wear or tear.
bottom line: buy clothes that fit good, look good and even if they don't, don't care. if you think clothes make you a douchebag, grow the fuck up.
p.s. other facts about me - i like deathcore, i like bands like Attack Attack! and I still have a lot of friends. I enjoy what I like and I don't let anyone get to me
Man this guy is so cool and alternative, how can I be like him?
[editline]07:31PM[/editline]
I rated op optimistic
its all on the same colour schemes and nothing is especially standing out. Please if you continue to assert that you know more about fashion than a globally famous brand post pictures of your own fashion. Also don't come back to this post asking me to post pictures of myself as I'm not the only claiming to know more than professionals.

some of my friends dress like this
Sure does hint at huge insecurities, though.
Wow... I guess everyone in the world must be massively insecure because they like the look of decent clothes as opposed to bland, generic, oversized and uncomfortable stuff you can get at primark that falls apart real fast (it actually does fall apart)for £2.
Jesus christ some of you people are really scraping the bottom of the barrel here. Maybe when you get a job and start earning you'll taken an interest in something other than great deals on Steam.

You're attacking other people in what appears to be an attempt to validate your fashion choices.
I believe you ARE insecure, good sir.

I made this thread for discussion of Clothing, fashion and style. How are you expecting me to react when a cascade of dicks descend on the thread blasting off about how cool they are because they wear ASDA clothes, and that I'm automatically gay because I buy stuff from shops, and that I should buy clothes from ASDA because anything else is for gay indie hipsters.
I bet you people who think the above are the type of guys who you see in clubs standing in the corner alone with a beer looking sad and thinking "Why do girls go for douchey social people instead of unsocial nerds like me... why can't they see how good I am at Adobe Photoshop and Call of Duty?".
Like I said, I make my own money and I can spend it on whatever I please, I guess the fact that it exceeds buying new Games or paying for a WoW subscription is way too much for some of you.

So the thread's intent was to praise your fashion choices? Did you seriously never intend on encountering opposing views? This is Facepunch.

Now you're just generalizing. Once again.
ITT; People who try to be different, and try to wear different clothes, but they buy the clothes everyone else buys.

I created the thread for the reasons I stated in the OP, that's why it comprises of content other than me saying how awesome I look.
I expected opposing views, but I countered these based on the fact that they were aimed at me personally, calling me 'gay' because I choose to dress well.
Congratulations. You just insulted everyone you were trying to prove a point too. You opinion in clothing is invalidated, and you just made yourself look exactly like the douchebags you claimed you weren't.
As I see it you express an opinion on a public forum then you find yourself surprised, nay shocked to be met with a different view. You've been here five years, you should know better than that.
ITT; People who try to be different, and try to wear different clothes, but they buy the clothes everyone else buys.
What would you have us do?
Haute Couture? That costs bare money.
Wear plain clothes? Nothing more generic than those.
Seriously though, I've never seen people wearing the exact same shirts that I do surprisingly. I see loads of superdry tees and such, but they're all different patterns really.

These things are great, very durable too.

So? I'm going to counter people calling me gay and explain my reasons, like I'm sure most people would.
I don't care what anyone says, a guy who's wearing tight jeans looks gay as hell.
Yep.
I hate fashion, style is more my thing.
I often wear suits and stuff like that.
Nice outfit:
1) graphic tee

(one that looks better though, this one is a little ugly)
2) some light blue jeans

3) some nice nikes

The OP gives the reasons why you like fashion and then says that other people have different reasons. Well, this includes people that don't like fashion.
And then the discussable content tapers off and the rest turns into a wank over various clothing items.
Are Converse All Stars still cool?
God damn I love All Stars. I got a red pair right now, used to have a black pair.
I really like this jacket Jose Mourinho wears.

I believe it's Armani and costs a few grand.

definately, a black pair paired with a pair of black Levi jeans, a white wifebeater and a black blazer like this one:

is a favourite of mine and very cool.
All my clothes look mostly the same. Grey/black t-shirt, rarely with any logos or writing, and jeans. I am Simon Cowell.
No type of clothing that doesn't go on your feet or stop bullets should cost more than $100.
Das boot.
Actually I like the triple zip design, the fabric hands with thumb-holes, the immaculate stitching, and the multiple styles available.
Nice job using my own opinion on the best looking raincoat as a reason why I "don't get out much".
Not to be a dick or anything, but IMO you either have bad taste in clothing or like shitty looking clothes.
Sorry. :ohdear:
