I need more people to be straightforward with me if I mess up. Or else, how am I ever gonna know what I did wrong?
It would be helpful!

Some people don't know how to word things. You sure know I can't lol.
Adding to this. I am usually straightforward about stuff, but when comes to certain subjects I never know what to say, so I wonder about it and then slowly get stressed about it.
You gotta stop stressing. People are not judgemental, they just go on how what you say makes them feel. If it's awkward, just pile up whatever it is with nice things.
I quess lately I've been feeling "threatened" and just got a bit defensive about and didn't know how to react.

I stress because my mind likes to, um, have adventures.
Well have some "adventures" where shit doesn't go wrong. You think of worst case scenario, doesn't always go like that though. It's possible but highly unlikely.
I feel kinda boss right now cuz I realized I'm a reporter for one games site and a news editor for another.
Boss.
I mean the sites aren't HUGE or anything, but it's a start lmao
[editline]16th February 2011[/editline]
well shit
Back at where I started after talking about it... Great.
That did nothing.
Eh was my fault
Should've just said nothin'.
Sorry bud.
Nah, it's not what you said entirely. I thought after saying it all I would have felt better, obviously I don't.
I'd say it's my fault if anything.
[editline]16th February 2011[/editline]
I'm the one who should have said nothing.
[editline]16th February 2011[/editline]
I fucked up.
Nah, that's stupid. Even when you're feeling shit it's a mark of trust to not hide away. You didn't fuck up anything and there's nothing wrong with saying how you feel even if you're not in the best condition. Just stop stressing because you did nothing wrong.
Eh, we got it worked out now. What I meant by "fucked up" was that I thought I made her feel bad.
That's some old-school wallowing you guys are doing.
Lighten it up~
Uh
I don't need a job.
I need a mode of transportation.
There's bikes
And they usually cost a lot less than a car/motorcycle
I actually feel a little bad about posting something that's breaking the rather "conversation" style posting above me, but whatever.
Got dumped on Valentine's Day by the girl I've been best friends with for a long time. She was coming out of a bad break up with her boyfriend and I comforted her. I guess she needed to be loved like that because of how vulnerable she was, and I just fell into the picture.
Her feelings for me were paper thin, but I've had a crush on her for so long. Although, to be honest, she pushed me into the relationship. She said I love you first. She told me she was jealous of my other female friends.
She's inevitably going back to her asshole of a boyfriend.
She doesn't want to talk to me because "It's too hard, I just can't do it. You're the most awesome person ever and I can't even look you in the eye anymore."
Didn't just lose a girlfriend, I lost my best friend. The only person I've really cared about in a long while. Maybe we'll talk again, but with how she's reacting I just don't think it'll ever be the same.
Happy Valentine's Day, now where the fuck is my scotch.
That's a strange coincidence.
I've just now started dating my best friend who has come out of a relationship and she is taking the first steps instead of me as well. Of course, her break up was a little while ago and we've actually talked about it the way through, so I doubt it'll go the same way as yours.
I'm a little scared to confess to my parents that I want a Beatles tattoo. I feel like they'd be conflicted about it and would be worried that I'm delving too much into a band.
I see it more as a passion than an obsession, if anything, and while I do love the Beatles, they don't overtake every aspect of my life. I just like collecting paraphernalia and listening to the music and the lyrics. It's just fantastic.
Anyways, basically, I'm afraid my parents would be like "uhhh why". But ah well. It's my body.

How old are you? I know lots of pretty young people (Like 18-21) with tats. It's not such a huge deal these days.
I'm nineteen. I'm not so concerned about getting the tattoo, rather than the subject matter. I just don't want my parents to think I'm like super obsessed or anything.

I felt sad reading that, I really hope things work out in your favor.

Just don't be all, "I WANT JOHN LENNON'S ENTIRE FACE TATTOOED ON MY ENTIRE FACE."
that would be amazing
[editline]16th February 2011[/editline]
I want his body tattooed on my body so it'll be like our BODIES ARE ONE
Creepy.

Yeah, I really should have stopped it all, but I just couldn't. She basically confessed feelings for me the day after she broke up with him.
As I said. It's just hard to say no to that.
I felt sad reading that, I really hope things work out in your favor.
Thanks, but I'm pretty sure it's not going to. I need to move on. I'll just end up stressing her the hell out if I hang around.
So I just heard that one of my cousins has threatened suicide after his wife left him and has been committed to an institution.
At the same time, one of my mom's aunts got threatened at gunpoint by her husband.
I know how I'm related to these people, but I've never met them. Or not that I can remember anyway.
Still, it's kinda scary and I feel for both my mom and grandma.
I cannot even die :'(

But.. Wouldn't your parents take the same stance if you got ANY image etched on your body forever?
Do they have something personally against the Beatles? ._.

well um... atleast your cousin got help, better then him committing suicide.
and at least your aunt is okay
No, they love the Beatles. Lol. They're not exactly supportive of tattoos but they wouldn't stop me from getting one either. I think they'd just want me to make sure that I absolutely want a band tattooed on my body, regardless of what band it is.
I think they just wanna make sure I won't regret my decision, so I just don't want them to think that by getting something band related, rather than something that might seem more meaningful like a symbol or something, that I'm like sooo obsessed with the Beatles. I just want them to realize that the band is more than just a passing fad, and they're really inspirational for me.
That ended up being a rant that was longer than intended.

Yeah, I'm thankful for that much.
Beatles are not a meaningful symbol? Probably more influential than most other symbols people get tattooed.
Less about the band and more about everything they represent. In that way they are more meaningful than anything else.
Yeah, that's what I'll hope they'll realize when I'm ready to tell them.
