My family has been fighting with each other everyday for the past 4-5 months now it's ridiculous.
I was talking to a friend from back home today. She told me her life was going pretty shitty, and so I asked her what was up. She told me her parents were getting a divorce, her dad was on drugs, and something bad was happening/had happened with her sister, but wouldn't specify what. She topped it off by letting me know that she had a crush on me for the past four years or so. Unfortunately, I'm gay, and I let her know. Now I feel like a huge douche for adding that on top of all her problems. I know it isn't my fault, and there isn't anything I can do about it, but it doesn't stop me from feeling bad. I also don't know if I could ever hang out with her again without it being awkward. Will I be treated differently now that she knows I'm gay? Will I treat her differently? Facing your problems sucks.
walkin on air
Wow, it's been forever since I've been on. So I went on a camping trip for school, where they wanted us to talk about runoff and all this other crap. At one point, near the end of the 4-day trip, our trail group was split up into smaller groups of 2 and 3 to work on our final presentation for a runoff-safe community. My group was comprised of me and this girl I didn't know too well. It was kind of awkward for some reason, and I ended up not talking much. I had just finished sketching an idea for the picture of a green roof we were going to put on our poster, when she said "Oh, I love your picture! Is it alright if I outline it in marker? I want to take it home and put it up on the wall in my bedroom!" I thought that was really awkward, especially since I don't think I'm very good at drawing (just criticizing myself, I guess). It was kinda weird. And kinda isn't spell-checked.
I wish I had artistic talent. I always ask my friends who are art majors and such for anything that they don't want. So did you let her outline it? Just because someone wants to be with you romantically shouldn't ruin a friendship. You may want to talk to her and see if she needs space to get over you but tell her that you will be there for her. I think that relationships are important and that none with anyone should be discounted. People all have their flaws but they all have something to offer.
I keep thinking I'd like to comment on someone else's facebook status, but what if they think "it's that guy from college why is he suddenly using facebook now, that's a bit creepy" or their friends think "who's that random guy we don't know commenting on his status, that's a bit creepy" Should I post the comment and see what happens or would I actually look weird for it? I can't believe this is a problem I actually have. I need some real problems like you guys.
daft punk y u so good
Didn't this used to be in GD?
It got moved to FT a while ago
Remember how I pulled the nerdy move and e-mailed the best friend of the girl I plan to ask out?
Well the thing is, she has a VERY VERY busy schedule. Between choir and dance and school and all the other things she has, she has very very little freetime.... With that said, however, she is very willing to try to fit a boyfriend into her schedule... as long as he is flexible enough to work around her commitments... If you can't do that easily (and I don't blame you), wait until prom or may. She's busy during march and april and early may because of choir tour, POPS, dance shows, and stage crew, but if you guys were to find a way to start out while her commitments are dwindling, she'd most likely say yes. I seriously think she might. You're very sweet and very funny and super cute, so she'd be crazy to say no. And if she does say no, don't take it personally. I doubt she'd reject you because of anything not related to her schedule... Sorry. I really wish I could say GO FOR IT, but as long as you're willing to work with what she's already committed to, then I think there may be something there <3 On Thu, Feb 24, 2011 at 9:38 PM, <My name> <My E-m@il> wrote: Hello <best friend of girl>, this is <my name>. Do you think I'm her type? This is a bit strange to ask, but feel it's appropriate. Please don't tell her I asked.
Fuckin mega-super confidence boost. I'm going to go punch orphans in the face! Yesss.
Yeah I let her keep it. I thought it was awkward though. [editline]27th February 2011[/editline] Oh, and I was talking to Binsky.
That was nice of you. I don't see how it was awkward. She was just admiring your work.
Batman Uppercut is a name for both girls and boys. Sexist.
What about Batwoman Uppercut?
Lucy Sky Lastname
Sounds like a Native American name almost.
Lucy Sky leads the proud Diamond tribe across Texas.
It would have to be Lucky Sky Lastname to work.
What about Batwoman Uppercut?
Batwoman is lame as hell.
