Most musicians look funny. That's why they make music, not pictures.
I have about 75 percent of those albums, and none were free. Great find, that boston one is worth some money.
I've got all of Iron Maiden's albums prior to 1990 on vynil, they are arguably the most valuable thing i own
My parents have tons of records like these in the basement. In fact, my dad claims to have a near mint copy of the White Album along with a lot of Led Zeppelin.

Pretty neat collection though, I hope you follow through and start collecting records of your own.
I have a collection of atleast 100 vinyl records.
All Classical, the only ones I listen to regularaly are Beethoven's seventh symphony and Mahler's 9th, Bruno Walter's recording which actually made me love the piece.
It's thanks to the neighbors in one of the apartments across from mine that I have something to play them on.
I'd been trying to get Clair de Lune (piano only version) on Vinyl for the last few years. Finally found it the other day. For such a popular classical piece its a bugger to get hold of.
A Flock of Seagulls shouldn't be under good music. Look at them

Because a group is named something or looks a certain way must mean their music is crap. :downs:
That's nice and all...
Holy shit, Shel Silverstein!?
A LIGHT IN THE ATTIC?
I came.
I work for this old couple with roughly 5,000 vinyls in their garage, putting them all onto a database for their website for them, they just have thousands of them. You would orgasm in there if you love vinyls.
I've just started collecting my own vinyls.
I love listening to music this way, the sound is brilliant and you're more active in the music (ie. you have to turn the disc around)
Hooray for obsolete technology.
You said Decatur public library? I live in Decatur. :tinfoil:
Holy shit, now that's a collection.
If I had a camera I'd show you my massive collection of vinyls along with my turn tables.

Yea, do you?
Those are priceless to the right people...
no they're not, they're worth maybe $1 a record. Nothing special in there.
I have 3 crates of vinyl and 45's. :c00lbert:
I'll take some pics when I get back from Russia ok?
The Beatles ones are awesome.
Are they originals or reprints?
COuld you record some disco tracks?
I've got a shitload of these in my loft, my dad was a complete Mod, you should see the classics he has.
My Granddad gave me some old records my family used to have, nothing too interesting apart from some Johnny Cash. I really want to get a record player though..

I found this tape.
That's nothing.
Would have been much awesomer and better looking if you covered your wall with the paper boxes as well. Sorta like in your first picture.
Got a large jukebox downstairs and a piles of records dotted everywhere.
Dog broke a couple last week pretending to be a cat :(
Yea, do you?
Yeah. Texas? Or the Georgia one?

If FP is wondering, this coincidence is only weird because my home town of Decatur has only 5,000 people, and the chances of running into one on the internet is slim to none.
Meh, my dad's got a big chest with hundreds and hundreds of vinyls.
Meh, a lot of these are mass issue. The only ones I would place any value in are maybe the picture disc and the Beatles ones just for demand. Also lol Flock of Seagulls.
Holy shit I want the vinyls from The Doors. Great stuff.
Yeah. Texas? Or the Georgia one?
