Well, at one point I'm with him. The sound doesn't matter THAT much when you're just practising at home.
Well the idea is that if I buy that I won't need to buy another guitar ever. though just because I don't need another guitar doesn't mean I won't buy another ;) The point is if I get that I won't buy another for a looooooooooooooong time. [editline]09:35PM[/editline]
Tbh i want the signature only cause i love the artwork, combinations of blue kind of colors and a UN Building, means alot to my idealogy and stuff im just asking, is the guitar itself is good? Dean never disappoint as i heard
Personally I don't like Deans that much, try looking for reviews.
Didn't trivium use Deans until the headstocks ripped clean off when they were playing a gig.
That's an LTD.
It's actually a ESP LTD AX Series AX260BLK. But hey, i payed for it so i can call it whatever i want
To end the debate over pointy guitar designs... A real guitarist, a real MUSICIAN that is- Would never care about what his instrument looks like, it's about the music. Opinions vary, get that straight. _________________________________________ Been looking at getting myself a new guitar since my bass ended up being... Not working... I sent it in for a refund, and with my summer job I'm thinking of getting; Fender Standard Strat in Artic White with a rosewood fingerboard; [img_thumb]http://img3.musiciansfriend.com/dbase/pics/products/8/9/9/578899.jpg[/img_thumb] I love it already and you can honestly play anything on a Strat- I was thinking about a Tele at first but the way this Strat looks just really made me gravitate towards it. ... And a Vox Valvetronix AD100VT-XL; [img_thumb]http://img3.musiciansfriend.com/dbase/pics/products/1/7/1/510171.jpg[/img_thumb] I love the sound of Vox amps, and this one's got good reviews and a pretty good price at my local music shop.
So basically... there are no "real" musicians. :aaa:
Ehh, there's probably a few, but they don't make much money
So basically... there are no "real" musicians. :aaa:
No, I mean there's a difference between preferring a certain type of instrument design, but I'm saying if that's the most important thing, I don't think you're really in it for the music.
how do i make my picks not disappear i blu-tac'd one to my monitor but i forget to put it back on after playing so it just disappears again
Haha, this. I lose my damn picks all the time.
how do i make my picks not disappear i blu-tac'd one to my monitor but i forget to put it back on after playing so it just disappears again
weave them between the strings up by frets 2 or 3. I've ben doing this and have been usin the same pick for like 2 months
That's not good for it from what I heard I just keep them in a stack
My Peavy Predator Strat copy and Fender amp. I'm a beginner, so it's ok for now. I want these two guitars. Les Paul Cherryburst Danelectro 59
First one is possibly greatest guitar ever :v: Second is ugly.
I'm getting a hollow-body soon. It's a choice between a lower-end Gretsch or an Epiphone Casino. What would you guys recommend?

Rickenbacker basses are cool. Their guitar looks like my dead grandma's ass.
Bumping with some srs shit
Looks ugly.
You got that backwards? I have actually used that amp, and it is beautiful. The thing has great cleans, it is good for anything from Pink Floyd, to AC/DC. What the standard valvetronix series lacks in IS metal. The Valvetronix XL series fixes this. The only thing you really need to be sure of is to at least get the 30watt models or bigger with the valvetronix series, or you're getting ripped off.
I have the 15W version, so hurr :v: [editline]04:46PM[/editline]
Bumping with some srs shit
Are you going to kill someone with that?
I hope not, it could get messy

Epiphone < Gibson
Style is important too, i want to love the instrument im playing on both cause of sound and design
Yeah, that's what I ment with my sarcastic remark.

YAY My mum agreed to letting me buy the ESP, now I have some chance of getting it! I'm still not sure though, I'd probably change my mind at the last minute and want a completely different guitar. [editline]11:56PM[/editline] I've gone and changed my mind... this is what I really want: only $2175! That actually works out to only about £1300 so it would be about the same as the ESP anyways. I just never worked that out so I always assumed it was too expensive but I did the math (google currency converter to be more precise) and I know I do have enough.
