Jeez, what guitar is that? Epiphone? It looks awesome.
Gretsch or however it's spelled I think
I don't think it's a gretsch, the head is too different.
Prob'ly a Gretsch or a Gibson.
Look at the very top of the picture
The headstock reads Epiphone, but you can only really tell if you know their logo by heart.

But the one on the pickguard I surprisingly missed
Ooohhh, I didn't notice the E
I noticed the Bigsby logo right off the bat though

Me and the Floyd Rose system have real trouble getting along...
And get this:

What do we think?
I like the Les Paul-looking one.
Yeah do it, I even prefer the ESP eclipse shape to the original Les Paul shape.

Get the Jackson, though that's a matter of opinion, I just hate deans, the way they look is terrible (that headstock makes me want to throw up) and I generally don't like the way they play, those Dimebag and Razorback shapes are heavy and cumbersome and the action is terrible, though that may have been because they weren't set up well. They just feel quite crude to me.
Now Jackson, that's a quality product.

Thinking about getting the first one.

Has anyone ever heard of a guitar company called Academy, cuz I got a strat copy by them, and I'd like to know some more about it...
I'm looking into starting playing the guitar, acoustic. Anyone know a good one that neccesarely doesn't have to be a "beginner" one, because I would use the guitar for a pretty long time.

Acoustic can last you forever, even if it's a beginner one, matter of taste i guess

Were talking about metal string acoustic, not nailon k? cuz nailon wont last u forever
I've always heard that a good guitar is an expensive guitar
It's different when it comes to acoustic guitars. One that costs 150-200 bucks play just as well as one for ten times the cost. The only real difference between them is the sound they produce.
And yes, are you interested in a steel stringed or a nylon stringed? Nylon ones are traditionally used for classical guitar while steel stringed are more used for chords.
Honestly, I have no idea. But the one my cousin has sounds and feels quite good. I could check what model and such it is when I get to him tomorrow. I think it has steel/metal strings, but I could be quite mistaken.
[editline]12:20AM[/editline]
So far I can only play Three Little Birds by Bob Marley and the intro for Feel Good Inc by Gorillaz :v:
I have a steel 12 string, sounds great, except a string broke recently and I haven't bothered to get any more.
I like both steel and nylon strings, sometimes I'm in the mood for one, sometimes the other.
I got screwed out of my PRS!
So instead I got this;

From the same guy.
:neckbeard:
What's a PRS?
What's a PRS?
Brand of guitar, Paul Reed Smith to be exact.
They're pretty good ones at that, but not really cheap.

Ah, I see.
So, any brands that I should keep an eye on and brands I should stay away from?
