Oh, perfect, I have a slightly guitar-related question.
I don't know if anyone here uses Guitar Pro, but it's a really great tab program that I use to learn songs.
However, I'm trying to learn to play Sweet Child o Mine all the way through right now, but since the guitar starts right away, I have trouble hitting space and then getting my hands ready to play right away.
Does anyone know how to add a delay before Guitar Pro starts playing?
That's my favorite guitar "look". I want one of those so badly.

When did that button get there?!
Thanks man. :P
Just bought a Boss MT-2 on eBay, I lost an intense bidding war but there was another one for a good buy-it-now price so I got that.

Also can anyone find pictures of a Jackson DKMGT (not to be mistaken for the DKMG) in Satin black or Metallic black? I can't find any.
I've got a Jackson JS30RR

It's the beginner model of the Randy Rhoads series. The pick-ups are quite poor and it is a bit heavy. But I like it very much. It's fast and very good looking.
My favourite guitarists are:
Dave Mustaine (Megadeth)
Kiko Loureiro (Angra)
Toshihiko Takamizawa (The Alfee)
i've got a dean ML through a mesa Single Rec.
Pics to come whenever (when i stop being lazy (probably never))

Nice combo
Right now I have a really really nice acoustic and a pretty bad electric/amp. I am saving up money to get a better electric/amp because it limits my playing too much. At the stage I'm at, I can't have the crappy electric that I have.
i have a squier strat
what now motherfuckers

Paul Reed Smith SE Singlecut w/ Tremolo Bar

Epiphone Les Paul Ultra II and 2001 American Deluxe Fender Stratocaster.
I also have a Squier Precision bass I bought the other day.
Ah, good old guitar, who's your favorite guitarist guys? Alex Lifeson is mine.
I love Lifeson, Eric Clapton, Mark Knophler or David Gilmour are my personal faves.

How does it compare to the SE Custom 22?

My 2 washburns, N2 on the left and X50 cocobolo on the right.
Nice
i have an american strat, and i probably want to get an acoustic of some kind. I also recently got a 100W fender frontman amp; it's awesome, easy to control, really loud, and solid. most recently i've been learning acoustic parts, like landslide by Smashing Pumpkins and Coil by opeth.
i have 2 fender strats and an ibanez rg320pg

Everyone has an Ibanez or a Les Paul...
Jaguar (L)
Upgraded from a Jagmaster.
I'm a huge fan of them.

Hey, anyone know anything about the Cort VX-4V?
Played it at the shop, sounded fucking AWESOME but I dunno if it'll still sound good through my 10 watt Laney LX12.
Halp, FP!
Also, it's the same price as a Schecter Damien 6 so... I need to choose .
Thanks :buddy:

10 watt? C'maan, get at least 30w if you're gonna be getting a new guitar anyway
i would love a jaguar, but i like the toronado more cause of the humbuckers!

Wattage does not mean loudness
Not always, anyway
I have a Crate V18 2x12, which is "only" 18 watts...but it's 18 watts of tube, which is infinitely louder than most solid states I've heard, and it sounds SO much nicer.
Besides, the size of the speaker helps with volume among other things, too.
A tiny 10 watt 1x8 will be pretty quiet, and almost silent compared to any 2x12.

I know, I know, wattage is just a measurement of energy over time, but I never said anything about loudness, and in general 10 is low for an amp.
Oh hell yeah it is, unless you're talking about a bedroom tube amp
For a price/quality concern, I'd recommend almost anyone upgrade to a hybrid amp instead of pure tube. I LOVE tubes and their tone and all, but I got mine DIRT cheap - $200 for my Crate vs the $600 retail price. Hybrid amps are much more affordable and still offer some of that tube sound.

Could you recommend one?
Could you recommend one?
of the three brands i have experience with, the line 6 spiders are nifty and powerful for the price, if you like built in effects and some presets. But Marshall and Fender make your classic amp, meaning probably only clean and overdrive channels and reverb, but ease of control and simplicity. it's your choice.
So...how do I stop sucking?

I was thinking about buying it. I mostly play stuff like Lynyrd Skynyrd.
Thinking of buying this sexy beast;
Schecter Damien 7
