I'm designing a guitar at the moment, just got a rough sketch done, it'll look like a Flying V with sharpened edges, tilted headstock, and a floating tremolo instead of a fixed one: Remember, this is just a rough sketch to get an idea of how it would look, and I didn't have a ruler...
Actually, going to sell some shit and go for this

Which Les Paul ripoff would be the best for me to buy?? Epiphone??
Yes Epiphone are definitely the best, as they're owned by Gibson. They play wonderfully.
I have a Tanglewood Acoustic/Electric Sunburst and an Epiphone B.B. King Lucille Signature guitar with custom EMG pickups for that amazing BRING ME THE HORIZON tone. Flick the switch to Rhythm and you have a gorgeous solo wrapped round your finger. Best clean guitar for metal however in my standards has to be out of these three: Ibanez Herman Lee Standard Synyster Gates Standard Zakk Wylde Standard Gibson
Yes Epiphone are definitely the best, as they're owned by Gibson. They play wonderfully.
You do realize that Epiphone does not make ripoffs right? A ripoff implies it's unlicensed, and Epiphone is OWNED by Gibson. Epiphone makes authentic Les Pauls, they just don't come with high end hardware out of the box.
Which Les Paul ripoff would be the best for me to buy?? Epiphone??
Aria's LP ripoffs are pretty good too.
What do I do? I don't practice because I suck, and It makes me angry. But I suck because I don't practice. I think I just CAN'T become good at it. Like you need a knack for it. But I want to be good so badly. :(
Basically a Alexi Laiho signature With a Whammy.
Not really, his is more like a Jackson Rhoads without the Floyd Rose, mine's gonna be more like a Jackson King V with a Flying V pickguard and a different headstock... You don't need to be playing hard, that's what amps are for.

Anything you do will help in the long-run -- Just don't give up! Keep on playing until you can't feel the strings because of your calises.
My baby...
Wow, awesome.
hopefully getting a Dean ZX in 2 weeks. anyone had any experiences with this guitar before?
I played a Dean ML, not the same guitar i know but how different can deans be. The ML almost broke my back when i tried to lift it and it was the least versatile guitar i've ever had he misfortune to play. The action was good though.
My baby...
I'd kill for that pickguard...
I'm thinking of getting new strings for my classical guitar, any suggestions on what brand I should choose?
Not sure about classical guitar, but i use elixers or D'addarios on my electric and they are awesome, so i assume they are of the same calibre for thier acoustic strings.
God damned wrong thread Sorry I'd recommend D'Addario strings, they only failed me once.

But don't give up, it can seem hopeless and boring at some points, but it will pay off, and if you quit, you will regret it. Not maybe regret it, you will regret it. Speech from my guitar teacher he gave to me after my friend quit :banjo:
