Justin Bieber: Never Say Never set to be worst movie of all time on IMDB
This is a piece of three dimensional candy that you can literally taste with your eyes. I have washed my clothes several times since this experience and they are still crispy. The only thing i don't understand is "why can't I see anything else?". Please listen to me. That face, it's all I see. I close my eyes and he is there. I dream and every character in my dream is him. I'm getting used to it but driving is still hard. Also, sometimes I put a nail into a bowl of water to make the tones descend to a place where I stop tasting blood. If I ever get out of here I am going to melt down my wax fingers and stop pointing at the sky without having something where the river is electric and another when the time says it is supposed to be.
The IMDB score takes into account user votes, right?
Because in that case, it's ridiculous to think that it could be right, because I bet you that 90% of the people who rated it a bad score never saw the movie and just want to hate Bieber to be cool or some shit. Look at its Metacritic score (people who have actually seen it and can back up their opinions of the movie), it's 55%. It's not a good movie, but it's definitely not BAD.
And for your information, documentaries are movies, VenomousBeetle and whoever might have thought for a second that it doesn't count as a movie. I don't know why people would expect it to be an action flick.
Nearly every one I've read thusfar starts out saying "I wasted 10 bucks on this"
Will no doubt still make money from all the teenage girls who buy tickets etc
Sadly :(
I really admire Mr. Bieber and the director of this fine film. What they created is a honest satire on the level of something like Borat. Never could I have fathomed that a mockumentary about the music industry could ever surpass something like This Is Spinal Tap. But Never Say Never has done just that.
Much applause, Mr. Bieber. I await more great works of satire and comedy in the future.
Um, there's NO WAY this was worse then the movies that were already at the bottom, bandwagon haters stole the spot from movies that ACTUALLY deserve to be there. This was just a pointless documentary.

Also dear Facepunch, shut the fuck up about JB, his music isn't aimed at you, so why care.
The problem is that his music isn't aimed.

This is the highest rating review;
I loved the movie, I went in not thinking much of it because I did not think much of Justin Bieber but since seeing it I have fallen in love with him! I was captivated at every moment of the movie and I was hooked and felt it was very enjoyable.
I have since been to see him Live in concert and met him backstage! He's a real nice and kind and friendly guy and I think this movie was a brilliant piece!
This Movie I saw at cineworld was quite quiet and made for an enjoyable movie the type of genre being from MTV films made it better because you're assured it is Music Television and on the big screen!

This is the highest rating review;
Not much to say about that..
I don't think he is nice, iv hurd things of people touching him, BACKSTAGE people.!! and then he goes NEVER fucking touch me again... He is a complete moron. and whoever gave this review is the most stuck up mother cock sucking mother fucker ever!!!
it's a film that no one here has seen or ever intends to see. the only thing anyone could post in this thread is "yep justin bieber sure sucks" this isn't talking, it's not discussing movies, it's nothing. it is intellectual dead space and and people are going to fill this thread up to +10 pages posting god knows what about something they obstenisbly don't care about
read a damn book
Would it help if we were all gay or women so you'd allow us rights (like free speech).
IMDB's lowest-rating movie isn't doing too bad in the box office.

Commercial success doesn't make it a good movie.

From what I have heard, they promote the movie like Justin Bieber went through such hardships in his (very short) life and he was told he would never make it and blah blah. My ass he went through hardships. He made Youtube covers, girls creamed over it, he was noticed by Ellen DeGeneres and everything was smooth sailing from there. This little punk, in not even 2 years into his career gets a fucking movie about his achievements when it took Michael Jackon nearly 50 fucking years of his life/career to get a documentary about him? Fuck that, that alone is enough to give it a 1 and if I actually went to see this trash, it probably would have dropped down to 0.
Fuck this untalented piece of trash and his generic, no skill music.

Being about justin beiber doesn't make it a bad movie
Really, worst movie of all time? IMBD is being a little subjective on this. Sure, as a documentary, it wasn't all that good, but to be rated worst movie ever on that site is a clear sign someone is not doing their job and throwing in incredible bias into that rating.hell, even rottentomatoes didn't give it THAT bad a score.

IMDBs rating are based on user's ratings. It's not really the site's fault at all. Changing it would just be unfair to the whole point of having a user-based rating system even if it is flawed.
Same with rotten tomatoes, except that's based on critics opinions.

See I haven't even seen the film, yet this vote still gets counted among the rest bring up its average by a very minuscule amount. That's why I don't really take the imdb ratings too seriously.
By the way, documentaries are never counted on the Bottom 100 list for some reason, so there's no hope for that to happen

Oh whoops I accidentally canceled out your rating. Sorry.
you people are more obsessed with this guy than the fans that you make fun of
I honestly could not have put it any other way. And it's true, too. Almost every YouTube highest thumbs'd up comment is going to have "Bieber" in it somewhere. The people who don't like him are giving much more attention to him than his own fans.
I personally don't like his music, but that's kind of because, I don't know, it's not towards my age group? I don't hate the kid, and I really feel sorry for the people that hate him just because it's cool to, when the only thing they really know about him is:
-He's young
-He's Canadian
-"He got lucky" (which is never really emphasized on)
I haven't talked to a lot of people that have genuine reasons to hate Bieber with a passion. Don't like his music? That's fine, that shouldn't mean the kid's some maniacal villain who deserves to die.

It's not really what he is. It's what he stands for. A dumbing down of a medium that should be full of emotion, what he is doing (he is probably oblivious to this) is bringing down music as a whole, him and his massive posse of R&B singers.
I long to have been born in the time of Pink Floyd, Led Zep, Real bands that put real heart into their music, refusing to capitalize on their fame and keeping their relationship to the crowds simple, a relationship through music.

Then I shall make more and more accounts, and rate it ten over and over again until it rates even higher than the Godfather and the Shawshank Redemption.

There are still bands that do put real heart into their music. Derivative crappy pop music has existed since the beginning of time to make some big bucks. Back then Led Zeppelin and Pink Floyd (well except for DSotM) were pretty underground compared to a lot of radio pop music. We just remember them because they rocked, and we forgot the other crap because it was crap the same way as we will remember Justin Bieber as a past shame like Vanilla Ice.
[editline]12th March 2011[/editline]
Plus there's the fact that no one actually listens to his stuff other than pre-teen girls.
[editline]12th March 2011[/editline]
actually they were pretty successful, but still there were a lot of shit back then, and there's still a lot of good stuff now. Not all modern music is Justin Bieber. You take a look at past-years billboard charts and don't tell me everything on that is still remembered now.

But that is exactly the problem, this trend encourages the industry to keep shelling out short-life music all the time, drowning the actually good stuff under mounds of shit.
Worst? Maybe.
Least profitable? Sure as fuck not.
It's a biopic about a 16-year-old, how was that ever going to work
He's not even half the age of most biopic subjects.

oh well

How is this thread still alive
How is this thread still alive
Because people hate justin bieber?
Same reason why the little pony thread is still alive. People obviously hate the cartoon, or.. :ohdear:

Oh god, why did they approve that? I mean, it's funny and everything, but this is IMDb. /b/rothers are rare here.
