the technoboy song is pretty bad sounding don't know why the second one is boring and not too great either Edit: oh my the third one as well Edit: the fourth one wasn't as bad but i'm starting to think that all of this is going to be bad
This is not something like Neophyte. I was talking about Great Melodies.
Go DonkeyRollerz Go Zany! Go Showtek! Anyways, fuck yes.
Eww hell naw, not showtek :vomit: too over rated:vomit:
Eww hell naw, not showtek :vomit: too over rated:vomit:
Lol.
Yeah. If you isten to some underrated artists . WOW
Fuck showtek lol They used to be good
Where is Headhunterz?
You can add songs that you like if you want to
HeadHunterz - Subsonic HeadHunterz - The sacrifice Alpha Twins - Darkside That's all for now.
Eww hell naw, not showtek :vomit: too over rated:vomit:
I'll have you know Showtek - no harder is probably the best hardstyle track ever made. That first song OP is pretty good, but the bridge makes it sound more like a techno/rock hybrid instead of hardstyle.
I'll have you know Showtek - no harder is probably the best hardstyle track ever made.
i'll have you know that only his oldskool hardstyle was good
i'll have you know that only his oldskool hardstyle was good
Post examples to back up your statement then.
Post examples to back up your statement then.
None of you agree with me because you only like nu-style bullshit. commercial viability has ruined the style.
Where is Headhunterz?
He's busy milking out the vanguard presets even more than he already has. Edit Also, I bring you Dozer:
None of you agree with me because you only like nu-style bullshit. commercial viability has ruined the style.
Are you sure you aren't talking about Gabber? Because Gabber is awesome as well.
None of you agree with me because you only like nu-style bullshit. commercial viability has ruined the style.
Agree'd. Commercialism sucks for any underground genre :(
Has there ever been a trance/hardstyle/(insertanythinghere)style song with actual drum programming? You know, maybe not just KICK KICK KICK KICK KICK KICK, but an actual beat? I know the genre is meant to be danceworthy, but that's not the only danceable beat.
You don't know the scene , do you ? Edit: It's about feeling the music. Like on defqon 1 or qlimax. Where the bass pounds your senses with 50.000 Watts . Then you know why the songs are like that
Anyone here shuffle?
Fuck showtek lol They used to be good
Lol, you've obviously never listened to showtek.
Yeah, but I kind of think there should be more to it than just mind-numbing, ear-shattering bass. Don't get me wrong, I love a good bass kick, but I also love "feeling the music" in my head rather than just in my pant legs. Also, I'm tired of people overusing the word "scene" when they refer to a musical genre. "YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND!!! YOU'RE JUST NOT IN THE SCENE, MAN!"
Showtek - Puff Green Dutch Stuff
You don't know the scene , do you ? Edit: It's about feeling the music. Like on defqon 1 or qlimax. Where the bass pounds your senses with 50.000 Watts . Then you know why the songs are like that
Go watch Qlimax 2006, 2007 Defqon 1 dvd's then come back.
Too hard to quote all the people I want to reply to, so i'll just write it all out: Na, i'm not talking about gabber (though I like hardcore a lot more than hardstyle). Oldskool hardstyle rarely had big epic melodies, it was more into original structure, creative sounds and interesting percussion. All hardstyle is these days is one set structure with a big cheesy melody to appeal to people who are afraid of hard bass and originality. And "I've never listened to showtek"??? LOL, I've been listening to them since they formed, and they're riding the nustyle wave as much as any other hardstyle producer. Fucking disgusting. And as for hardstyle percussion, if it wasn't just BASS BASS BASS then it would probably become some other style. And on a side note, I used to shuffle. There used to be like only a few thousand people in the world who did. But, of course, nustyle hardstyle brough an endless amount of people into the scene and with that, every single person in the clubs shuffles now. Hooray for commercialisation. FUCK.
Showtek - Puff Green Dutch Stuff
it's nice how people only know the fake titles of various tracks. this one is really Mr Puta - Green Stuff also, hardstyle pretty much sucks nowadays.
it's nice how people only know the fake titles of various tracks. this one is really Mr Puta - Green Stuff also, hardstyle pretty much sucks nowadays.
This man is correct.
My favorite Showtek song, but for some reason the bastard that made this video cut out most of the beginning before the song changes over. This is the only video on youtube that has the version from his CD Today is Tomorrow, although the other version is also good. Raver Seid Irh Bereit (Video is mislabeled) If anyone knows what that means in english I'd be in ur debts if you told me : )
Where the fuck is Blutonium Boy? :/ I don't listen to hardstyle nearly as much as I used to back in '07, but I still listen (and even shuffle) to it every so often. :3
