I really don't know but like I said, "After this I began to study astral projection ,and study the paranormal" maybe it was my first gate-spirit?
My parents story of a supposed "UFO"
This happened in Wisconsin.
Before they were married, they were driving back to my dad's dad's house. It was night time so it was a dark country road. Mom was casually watching out the window when she thought she saw some black sort of figure flying parallel with the car, probably 3/4 a football field away. She knew it wasn't a plane and it was flying way too low to be one (about tree height), plus she knew a plane would eventually go ahead of you, this was staying PARALLEL to the vehicle. This dark shadow had no identifiable shape, it just almost blended into the background.
Eventually she pointed it out to my dad, he saw it too. After watching it for awhile, they decided to pull over to the side. As they did, the object floated a bit forward and stopped, in mid air. As they watched 3 large circle lights appeared. My mom starting to get frantic, crying and freaking out, yelled at my dad to turn off the lights.
As soon as the car lights turned off, the object's lights turned off about 2 seconds later. It then "turned" and went ACROSS the road (above it). They didn't go under it because they were worried, so it flew over and they got the fuck out of there.
This wouldn't happen to relate to that one story from the history channel where an suv was coming down a country road in Wisconsin ,and a ufo flew about a football field away from it in a parallel fashion... You know UFO hunters?
calling bullshit. 10 minutes without breathing in CPR and you'd be dead. cannonballs don't make huge waves.
It's a real story. I can link you to my old apartments where it happened if you want.
Actually, let me just get the name. Lake Heights, Hamburg, NY. If you don't believe me... I lived in building 3750, Apartment A. :P
The only creepy thing I can recall in detail was a semi-recent event from shortly after I moved to my current residence.
I live on a county road with my room-mate, and we were driving back home from Wal-Mart at night. There was a slight breeze, nothing big as this region is known for insane winds. As we're driving down a dirt road, we saw the occasional tumbleweed, shopping bag, the kind of shit you'd expect to see being moved around by the wind. We were laughing about dumb shit when suddenly, we both just stop talking, because we both saw it at the same time.
I don't know what the hell it could've been, but it looked like a 2 ft. tall stick-thin humanoid figure running across the road. It couldn't have been a tumble weed, as a tumble weed moving in that wind speed would bounce like a motherfucker while this thing didn't. Plus in order for a tumble weed beat up enough to even come close to resembling a stick-figure and move like that, it would've had to have been insanely windy and it wasn't. Plus it didn't appear to be rolling at all, the central "spine" of the thing stayed perfectly vertical while the limbs moved as though a person were running. To this day it still spooks my room-mate, and we've both affectionately named it "The Stick Man". I still have NO idea what the fuck that could've been.
Last night, my Tv wouldnt turn on.
It clicks when It turns on right, but here it would just keep clicking. But not in a click, click, click.
It went in a random click,..click,click...clicck,click...click click etc.
Now I think about it I see it was moarse code. But I suck at that shit.
And the T.V did turn on so I did get to see informercials and random music.

it was a midget
Anyways I remember watching a meteor shower about a year ago and was watching one meteor and then it suddenly did a 90 degree turn, spiraled around and then disappeared. I was kinda surpised, but then i realized like 10 seconds later that there's no way in hell that was a plane or a meteor, both don't make 90 degree turns.

Had to have been one god-damn emaciated midget, it was literally no thicker than an inch at the thickest.
Starving african midget.
I have a 120 year old piano that my dad 'salvaged' from a 'ruined' house in Leipzig.
sometimes it makes a low noise, similar to the sound you get when you slam your hands onto the keys and listen as the noises resonate inside the piano.
it's fucking creepy when you're watching TV, and the piano starts it's monotone howl, and i'm sure it's not environmental factor as this pianos been in 4 houses already.

Close, but not quite. There was no clearly visible head on this thing, it was more like a 2-foot tall bipedal stick insect running across the road.
*Looks around, raises hand*
i aways thinking of looking around but then i think with myself
''i know theres nothing behind me, fuck off''
then i remember i left the door and the window open
''god fucking dammit...''
and then i look around and close both
AND TYPING THIS MADE ME LOOK BACK AND CLOSE MY WINDOW FUCK YOU GUYS
It was November/Desember 2008, really don't remember the date.
But it was back when i was a chef trainee in a military base, trainee's got a room for themselves after the mandatory service in the army.
It was late and i always lock the door because it happens some weekends that drunk soldiers, even some officers stumble into the barracks and cause a ruckus.
I go to bed as normal and fall asleep. Later i feel some fiddling with my foot and i assumed it was my cat first. But i realised that i didn't have any pets with me in the base, my cat was home, several miles away.
So i tried to open my eyes but i was only able to open one eye, because it was so hard to open my eyes, all i could see was a blurry silohuette* standing next to my feet and i don't know why, but it looks very much like me and the very next second it/i stabs me under my mouth, not the neck.
I feel a sharp pain and immediatly* wake up and check if i was stabbed. I didn't see any blood on my fingers but it still hurted under my mouth, like i hit my chin very badly.
It was still hurting for the rest of that night and day.
(* means i don't remember the words correctly)

You're goofy.
Anyways, a kid in my personal finance class got caught jerking off under his desk.
Not scary at all but still a ghost story.
When I was little I lived in a little ranch house, in my bedroom I had a turning lightswitch so you could adjust the light and whatnot. I couldn't reach it as I was seriously a tiny kid, I remember being really upset because it was time to go to sleep and my mom had turned it down, but not all the way down so it was still dimly light, I called out for her but she was apparently in bed and couldn't hear me as she had shut my door. So I started to toss and turn in bed till my sheets were off, then suddenly the lights started going down and swear on my life some woman in a long dress was standing in the room, I didn't get scared or anything but just watched her turn the lights off. She then walked over to me as I was just kind of laying there and tucked me in, pulling the blankets to my sholder then vanishing as if nothing was there. Next morning my mom came in and asked how the lights got turned off and my dad wasn't around at the time so it wasn't her.
Same spirit lady or whatever would often show up when I was depressed or couldn't do something, insanely stupid to say but it was almost as if she was like a second mom or something, when we moved out a few years later I remember thanking the house, and telling my mom about the woman, when I looked back I saw her standing on the porch waving. My mom then told me a few years ago when we were talking about all our previous houses how the home belonged to some lady who died giving birth to her child in my room. I like to think that she was helping me because she never got to meet her kid, but it's something that I'll never forget.

He was probaly studying as well and wanted to know if you were. So if some one asked you pn Facebook
"Are you on Facepunch?"
You would be all like
"AHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!! REASEARCH!!!!!!! AHHHHHHHHH!!!!! TURN TO RELIGION!!!!!!!!! AHHHH!!!!!! SCARED!!!!!"
This is the best thread I've seen on Facepunch in a while..
I'm going to see if some of my friends want to go exploring some abandoned buildings in the area, if I can get enough people together.
Anyways, nothing really creepy has happened to me, although for some reason I've always felt a bit strangely about my house. I'm 16 and some of the darker parts of my house still scare me, but I'm fine when I'm in the dark room or corridor of a friend's house. It's a pretty new house, was built about 10 years ago. The original buyers of this house were just married and bought this house, really made it look nice, but got a divorce a day or two after moving in and sold the house (naturally, my family had purchased it)
My house creaks a bit, but I've gotten used to that. Sometimes when we leave the windows on our upstairs floor open, the master bedroom door slams closed, it's happened about 3 times in the ~10 year stay here. Once I woke up in the morning and the lamp in my room (which is touch-activated) was on low (tap it once for low, twice for medium, thrice for full brightness), my dad walked in to wake me up and asked how the light was on in the morning, I shrugged it off and didn't bother trying to explain it to myself.
For the past two weeks, both of the touch-activated lamps in my house have stopped working (tapping no longer turns either of them on, even though they are both plugged in - different outlets, mind you), I just turn on my bathroom light then the lights mounted on the wall by my bed. Maybe it's just humid or something - but both of them?
I just had a conversation with my sister, we came to the conclusion that our house doesn't feel that cozy or comfortable because it's a pretty large house and we never really used all of the house. I also had a nightmare once about the room across from my bedroom, so I'm a bit creeped out about that part of the house. Also my parents had some pretty loud fights in different parts of my childhood, that probably had an affect on my feeling of the house. A few months ago my parents went through (and are still going through) a nasty divorce, that probably detracted whatever cozy feelings were left about this house. I'm glad that we have to move because of the divorce.
I can still remember the nightmare clearly 10+ years later, let me know Facepunch wants to hear it.

You live in the divorce house my freind.
Well this took place at around 2am during summer, I couldn't sleep so i just kept watching random ass youtube videos on my laptop, hoping I would get tired. I think i dosed off when I was watching a 15 episode playlist of Freemans Mind when I heard a loud ass creak (My house creaks and pops alot when you walk around but this was louder than usual.) This was before we had our security system installed. At first I thought it was my dad accidently dropping something (he comes home around 1-1:30AM) so i relaxed for a bit, It wasn't until i heard muffled rummaging near the front yard. I took my old ass paintball gun and gassed it up and put a few paintballs in it, went downstairs and looked around to see what was causing the noise. I peered through the peephole on the front door and almost had a heart attack when I saw some homeless dude looking for scraps. I opened the door and threatened I'd call the police, all the while aiming at him with the paintball gun. For some wierd ass reason ,my parents slept through this and didn't find out until morning.
If you were wondering what pbgun i used, it was this filled with rubber "re-balls:.

Alright, not really paranormal I guess, but awesomely creepy.
One fine day out at the park with friends, my ride was late in showing up.
It was getting dark, and It's important to note there was absolutely no wind.
My two friends and I sat around a dying fire, talking about paranormal stuff, and then the swings started squeaking, swinging back and forth. I never mentioned it, but I thought I heard faint laughter.
Gave me the heeby-jeebies I tell you! :tinfoil:
You live in the divorce house my freind.
Yeah, I've recently noticed this. I'm guessing either the environment of the house causes divorce or having another divorced couple live in the house before us had an affect on the environment of the house.
[editline]lol[/editline]
Based on the number of agrees, I assume Facepunch wants to hear this nightmare.
So it started completely randomly. I'm in some sort of a warehouse building with a film set or a sport competition, everything's tinted red. I don't really remember much of this part, but I do remember all of a sudden seeing things from some part of the roof, like I was another person there. Everything was still tinted red, which was strange. Then all of a sudden, as though that never happened, I'm walking out of my room right after waking up (I never woke up in the dream, I just started walking out of my room), and I went downstairs or something, but eventually ended back upstairs right in the room across from my bedroom and my sister was there, doing a tour of some extension of the house (it was supposed to wrap around the front porch, but on the second story, a physical impossibility as it would be floating in air, but whatever). As I remember, I agreed to go take a tour of this new path around which lead to the other side of the room. I remember that in the dream, I looked to the left in disbelief, but sure enough, there was a hallway where she said it was. I think I took like 2 or 3 steps into it, then got scared and walked back. My sister had disappeared and one of the closets were slightly ajar and I heard some noise - either a grunt or a screech or a yell or a mix of those. I ran out of the room as fast as I could, I think I could even feel adrenaline through my body, and since our stairs are in an L shape, I jumped the shorter section and things went in slow motion. I landed it, time resumed, I heard another noise and ran downstairs, my parents were surprised and asked "what happened?" Just before I explained it to them, I woke up, scared shitless (I was like 8 or something)
Once i was stabbed twice for asking someone to move very politely
Bastard did it with a glass shard. thank fuck the owner of the shop called the ambulance. i died twice on the operating table but they rescus'd me.(However you spell it)
I was only buying a cheap £1 cup of pisswater coffee
some psycho mother fucker.
We went camping with our class when I was little. At night, we had to wake up to make a walk through the forest (with a teacher ofcourse). Then somewhere, a guy with a clown mask jumped out to scare us, which was pretty scary. Everyone screamed for a second. After a few seconds everyone recognized the teacher, and he put his masker off and asked our teacher what we were doing here. He said he was looking everywhere to scare us, and that we were probably lost.No one believed it, some kids kept saying 'ya right' and eventually the teacher got mad.
After an hour or so, some started believing in that we were really lost, some were still not, after another hour we found the way back to the camp and it turned out that we were actually really lost.
Or another time we had sailing camp, we were in some sort of little house. No one was allowed to leave his or her room at night. Ofcourse no one cares about that so we went in a room to play cards. We were with around 8 people in a room for 4. Then, my teacher came in (it was late in the night), in his underwear, and everybody screamed.
Phew, I got nice memories from my school.
sailing camp
Oh you just reminded me, I go to sailing camp every summer to get my sail ranks and I got a pretty scary story but nothing to do with ghosts. We're sailing around this huge ass lake, big enough to not see the other side. We stayed about half a kilometer off shore, that far because thats where all the good wind is. We sail in a pack so the instructors can get a good view of what were doing. My boat had about 5 people in it, and it was the heaviest we were in a CL-16 meant for 1-3 people, we were the last ones in the pack. My friend was the skipper and I was on main sail, he told me that we were dragging a rope on the centerboard so I went to the back of the boat to look down and my friend kicked me off the boat. I remeber coming up and and looking around, about half a km off shore and the guys in the boat were laughing so was I, I tried swimming to the boat but they were moving pretty damn fast, faster than I could swim. It started to get scary when I relized my boat was 200 metres away form me and shore was half a kilometer, I remember not being able to see the bottom of the lake and I just layed out there for 15 minutes alone, until the instructor boat drove up to me and picked me up, I got back on my boat and kicked my friend off shortly after, but I turned around to pick him up after he was about 100 feet away. I cant imagine what its like whne you're boat sinks in the ocean and you're just alone, scary shit, man.
I was at the airport yesterday, waiting for my mom to get back from her trip to the Philippines. As I'm waiting there with my dad and sister, some kind of Asian man comes up and asks my Dad:
"Hello! This, uh, flight number 461?"
"Yeah, I think so."
Then he says to me,
"Ah! You're so tall! What grade are you in? 5th?
I'm in 10th grade. Sophmore. Maybe it's because they may have that backwards grade system like other countries.
[editline]04:00PM[/editline]
It was awkward because I wasn't really sure what to say.
One time, I was watching TV in my living room. I turned it off and for like one second I could have swore I seen my dead uncle's face appear on the screen when the TV turned off.
I was at a bus stop and this drunk guy started feeling my ass.
One night months back, I was laying in my bed dreaming it up. All of a sudden, I start hearing this loud static noise while dreaming. Soon as I know it, I'm awake in my bed to the sound of very loud static. I was so fucking startled I almost shat myself. I look towards my TV to see my DVD player on. I literally crawled my way over there in desperation to turn it off, since it was so loud that it was hurting my ears. Turned out it was on radio mode, full volume, on a random station with no signal. I didn't leave it on any of those settings when I went to sleep (nor such high volume). I quickly hit the off button, and it turned off as it should. I sat there on the carpet for about ten seconds trying to figure out how the fuck this happened. I lock my bedroom door when I go to sleep, and it still was locked when I checked. I looked to see that the remotes were untouched.
Felt like a creepy ass nightmare. Being scared shitless, shaking, and having no clue how this happened, I quickly reached behind the TV and unplugged everything out the sockets. I hopped in my bed and couldn't fall asleep for 45 minutes, afraid it would somehow turn on anyway.
That's the only time something like that happened to me, but being that horribly startled in the middle of the night is pretty fucking scary.
My printer started printing random things in the middle of the night. This happened about 2 days ago.
It printed community service forms from my school.
2 weeks ago I went to the hospital for a 235-240 heartrate had a Seizure at the hospital and then my heart stopped for a couple of minutes I was just released 2 days ago..
