This is different. It was the most horrifying and yet the hardest to describe experience of my life. Happened on December 18th. We got out of school as usual. Nothing stood as to suggest how my evening would unfold. I was baffled at the snowfall we were getting this early for my area. I decided to go out and recapture that Christmas spirit. I dressed somewhat-appropriately for the weather and made my way down the driveway to the street. There is something you must know though. We live in fucking backwoods nowhere. The closest actual town is called Tappahannock. Only made famous for being the birthplace of Chris Brown. What a legacy. Anyway, the street was deserted as usual. It only runs a few hundred meters before connecting with Route 17 on both sides. I came to our office building on the edge of our property and just stared across into the street for a while. Oddly, though I tolerate cold rather well, I was not cold in these conditions. What happened next I can only describe as otherworldly. I was overcome by that long-lost winter joy and the Christmas spirit. Then everything took a turn. Shit got surreal, serene. Peaceful. Too goddamn quiet. I was lost in my own winter wonderland. Ever have that sensation of spinning as you slip into REM sleep? Suddenly, everything came crashing down. I was spinning. I was mortified and paralyzed. I couldn't hear and from here on, memory gets blurry. I almost felt like I had a top-down view of myself. Remote viewing? We'll leave that to the hippies and conspiracy theorists. I was hearing cars and talking although I was far away from anyone else. I was running and completely numb. No sensation or perception of cold. I was getting the fuck back home. I kept seeing glances of figures. I heard a ringing in my head like I've had with sleep paralysis. I felt like I was being overpowered. Since then, my already present migraines and stomach pain has worsened. For a few days, I was awestruck. Time seemed to slip by so quickly. I was tired 24 hours a day and everything was kind of fuzzy. I can't recall hardly anything from those following uneventful days. I must live in the fucking Twilight Zone. I've grown accustomed to things like this. I've actually had a similar experience on those backwood streets. There's just some odd allure to them.
I live in Ontario where theres lots of forests, and i have to admit, when you are in a forest in the winter, around late afternoon, its one of the most scariest things ever, too quiet, you hear everything and seem like youre lost too
Titless eyh? [editline]04:31PM[/editline] Oh and also, did you ever think of the fact that it could've been your sister or mom that turned it off?
Read it again, I was the last to fall asleep and I turned the T.V. off after they were both asleep. When I awoke suddenly for some reason I thought my mother had called out to me to turn the T.V. off and I was confused. Then I came to the realization that something weird happened and when I tried laying back down I saw the shadow figure. [editline]06:57PM[/editline]
I was staying over at my auntie's house when I was 5-6 and I was standing in her living room staring at the stairs that are directly in front of the living room door. My eyelids were widely open, I was staring in disbelief. What I saw was a tall silhouette of a man who waved at me then slowly walked up the stairs. I've been told it was my guardian angel.
Fucking slenderman, man.
Want freaky shit? If anyone lives in Pamona, CA, check out the place on 1492 Spencer street.
Saw my heart get cut out by something in a hooded robe. Could feel it.
Oh my god are you alright?
I was approached by a Black Bear once. Lucky for me, it was male and wasn't in its territory, so it was generally friendly. One wrong move and I would have been attacked though, so I just stood still as it sniffed me and rubbed my leg. [editline]07:54PM[/editline] The standing still thing was also from sheer terror/shock that a fucking bear is touching me.
One day I was asleep and I woke up needing a gigantor piss. So I got out of bed and walked to the bathroom. The door was closed, so I opened it and there was a black figure stood infront of me. I have wet the bed ever since.
Entirely sure. Two people can't have the same dream, right? Plus, we both stayed up after that and watched infomercials until daybreak.
Slap chop, we're gonna make America not so ghosty one slap at a time.
Oh my god are you alright?
You're not familiar with the concept of hallucinations/dreams are you
Dammit, now I'm afraid to go take a piss. Edit: And now I swear I just heard strange music. GG :saddowns:

Sorry if you find spelling/inconsistensies, it's quite difficult to recall this, and my hands are shaking thinking about the experience. One time, a few of my friends (friend 1 = toughass, friend 2 = smart) decided to explore an old grain elevator facilty . It was pretty run down, broken/boarded up windows, rusted machinery, etc. Anyways, we were walking about the first floor, as soon as we walked in, we heard gears turning and working. Naturally, we were a little freaked out, the place had been abandoned for years. Friend 1 decided to go check it out while friend 2 and I looked at the machinery. After a few minutes later, friend 1 ran back to us, pale faced, with eyes darting around the room. This was pretty strange, he normally isn't scared of anything. He says "Don't...go back there." and begins sobbing. We head there anyways, despite his protests. We entered an old room with a workbench (ie 2 cinderblocks with plywood on top), and spelled out in bolts, screws, and nails on the floor was "Help". An eerie feeling came over us, the only way I can describe it is dispair, and suffering. Suddenly a tool falls off the workbench, onto friend 2's foot. We were all scared shitless, and ran out, not without tripping over a cinderblock in the middle of the hallway back, which wasn't there before. As we ran out, our driver (Friend 2's brother) is concerned with us, and asks us what happened. We all just said "DRIVE THE GODAMN CAR" in a chorus. I looked back, and the trees that were on each side of the path to the elevator seemed as if they were closing in, reaching out to hide the path, while the elevator loomed in the background. This may also seem cheesy, but I still see that "Help" spelt out in bolts, screws and nails in almost all of my dreams. -To be continued.
Awe. I hate when a thread, like this one just gets put up and not many stories or videos are on it. Just frustrating Nice story ElBoricua :V.
You are not contributing to it . [editline]05:23PM[/editline]
My girlfriend is pretty much tormented by this weird tapping sound coming from her ceiling. It happens at random but mostly occurs when she turns the lights off in her room to sleep. Well the weird thing is that it follows her around the room and whenever she leaves her room it stops. So I suggested that there could be a small animal up there but she explains that when the cable guy was there to fix a couple of shit in the attic above her room, she asked him if he saw any nests, small animals, or possible entrances/exits for a small animal to fit through. Nothing there. It only happens when she's alone in her room and never happens when ever any of her friends are with her. Last night she called me in the middle of the night waking me up because the tapping started again. She then told me about a time when the tapping started and she wanted to test something out. Right when there was a pause in the tapping, she tapped back to see if it would tap too. Well, whenever she tapped, it would respond to her. She got so scared she ran out of her room and into her mom's room. It didn't follow her though.
Rats. [editline]05:29PM[/editline]
Ok. Shit. About four years ago, my friend invited me over to his place. He had recently pulled out a loan for $60,000 and bought an 80 year old house for $40,000. he planned on renovating it and brought me out to look it over and give him my opinion. Actual Dialog: Friend: "So, what do you think? The heat is shit and it needs a few screws here and there... but it's a great house to start raising a family!" Me: "Well, I agree. Get this place fixed up and it'll look great. Are you sleeping here tonight?" Friend: "Yeah... um... do you have work tomorrow? Do you think you could stay?" Me: "I've got work but not til later... I guess I could." The entire time he was talking to me, I could see shadows moving across the the stairway behind him. I tried to keep the tears away but as soon as we were settled and about to fall asleep (yes in the same room... rate me gaybows) I nearly bawled and told him. He explained that earlier he heard footsteps and he wasn't really sure he could stay at the house alone tonight. 3am- We hear footsteps in the living room, right below the master bedroom. He freaks and sits up in bed with his hand over his mouth. Me, not being a particularly strong believer in the paranormal, sneak across the floor to a stylish vent that allowed a view to the living room below. I looked down, and still to this day I see it in my memory, and saw a woman looking directly at me. Her jeans were ripped at the knees and her shirt was torn and she looked sad and betrayed. My friend eventually told me the true story. He had bought the house from some sort of police auction because the case had been cold for almost 10 years. Evidentally, some girl's boyfriend kidnapped her and took her out to this house and raped her. After he did that, he tied her to a basement support and left her. She froze to death and I saw her sad, cold, lonely face. That was some seriously fucked up shit. :emo:
I don't believe you. Why putting a dialogue that is useless ?
One time, I went into my bathroom, picked out my tooth brush, but noticed that we were low on toothpaste. I went to go buy some, and once I came back, we had a full tube. I brushed my teeth and then my breath smelled clean.
Your avatar scares me :ohdear:

We always hear strange sounds and shit, nothing like this though, yet anyways...
When does that play in the actual game? I think I've heard the part in the beginning of the song before though.
Erm I think it's in anticitizen one, or somewhere near that..you enter an apartment building and gman is on a TV screen round a corner for a few seconds with that playing.
I was playing HL:2 Campain on Synergy on an American server. Someone spoke onto the mic something dramatic trying to be funny to do with a GMan sighting on "Water Hazard" I forgot what he was talking about but whilst he was talking I heard really quiet creepy music playing, kind of like the background music in Salad Fingers. Holy shit I almost shat a brick typing this. It was probably my imaignation though since nobody else heard it and it was extremely quiet. I was hardly even scared, but then again it is pretty late right now and I am tired as fuck. Fuck me sideways. TL;DR: Fuck you, read it now.
-Story about GF hearing Tapping-
Holy fucking Shit I just realised I have the same thing in my room, It only happens when no-one is with me and no-one is upstairs, it happens throughout the day and night, it never realy affected me I just thought It was the Plumbing but when I asked my Dad he says There aint any pipes under my room :saddowns:
When I was less than a year old, my family (My father, mother and older sister) moved into this old house, not very creepy. As we were moving in, apparently the previous owner came to visit (My father refers to her as "EarthMomma") found the death card of a small child in the floor boards of my sister's room. Apparently my sister kept having horrible night-terror-esque nightmares, something I actually picked up for a short while years ago. Exploring the basement my parents found these crystals in tubes all over the house, I think they were earth rocks that the woman put around to summon ghosts, well thought they did, the woman was pretty crazy allegedly. The cops took them when they came to investigate, my mother thinks that it was crack though, who knows. The weirdness actually begins here, out of everything I remember, this one glaring memory stands out, I remember nothing else from the first couple of years of my life: I'm laying down facing a brown triangular wall, with wooden bars. I initially thought that I was remembering being in a crib and looking at the wall. Apparently not, my room was blue, the ceiling however was angled and wooden. For some reason, this specific moment, of laying awake, in the darkness, looking at my ceiling was burned into my memory. Even as a baby, I apparently slept well and had no problems, something would have scared me to do this. I think it might have something to do with my now irregular sleeping behavior, I am an extremely light sleeper, so much so that many nights I literally get no sleep at all, staying awake until morning. I just want to know what could possibly scare me that badly that it has been burned into my mind.
Well this is kind of bizzare although could probably be explained rationally through coincidence or something anyway: Me and a friend of mine have some kind of crazy hivemind going on, First time we noticed it we were at a restauraunt for someones birthday, out of nowhere both of us at exactly the same time thought about something from Mass Effect (Shepard: [Basic Items] we find this funny for some reason) and we both said it at exactly the same time. A while later then we both thought of a the film Mars Attacks (because its one of those films you hardly ever see on tv) at the exact same time in a history lesson then 2 days later it was on some obscure channel on sattelite tv. Theres been other times where we've thought of the same stuff at the same time but I can't be asked to type them.
This happened to me just about a minute ago. My cat had this kitten a long time ago and we have been keeping him in the bathroom until he gets older. Every once in a while, we let him out to run around and play for a little bit. And I didn't know he was still out of the bathroom. My mom told me that he was in the back room. (room in the back of the house, dur) So I went back there, and he ran under the bed. So I looked under there for him, and it was like pitch black. So I'm trying to find him in the dark, and I see two eyes under the bed staring at me. I reached out to grab it assuming it was the kitten, and it felt like a human face, no hair or anything. Then, I saw a levitating screw. Then, I looked behind me, and there was my kitten with his mother. Finally, I freaked out and ran into the living room without grabbing the kitten. :tinfoil:
Telepathy
This happens a lot with me and my friends. It peaked between me and my friends probably 3 years ago or so, where we would almost every day think of the same thing at the same time. Last year I kept having a series of coincidences, and it just kind of became normal for me. They still happen, but not as much as they used to. It was always with obscure things, too, usually with a certain episode of some show that would be on later that day. It happened so often that I could usually predict which things would appear.
One time when I was in my grandad's old house, I was taking a dump. I usually read on the toilet and I think at the time I was reading harry potter. I heard someone moving around downstairs, towards the foot of the stairs. I washed my hands and opened the door, as I did, I felt something like someone brushing past my shoulder, I turned around and there was nothing there. I went downstairs and remembered that all my family were out of the house. Not that creepy, but the weirdest thing that's ever happened to me that I couldn't explain.
You didn't even wipe....ew
