Sadly, I'm not one prone to experiencing the paranormal, or even the strange or bizarre. I've experimented with what others might call "crazy works of imagination" or "idiotic acts of self-terrorizing"; word-curses for spirits and acts like telekinesis and such. Even with such a wide variety of exotic techniques. I've believed in such events of apparitions, UFOs and aliens, and demonic occurrences since I was young. I've always longed for something of my own, something to make me believe. I'm still waiting for hard proof to make my own story.
I was on a camping trip, and we were going to scare the little kids shitless with a prank. We went up a hill, and it was dark. All the people's cars were parked up there (there was maybe three). I was getting ready to do my part, when I suddenly felt I wasn't alone. I looked towards a car, and I saw something that looked like a L4D hunter. I shit a house, and ran down the hill. I told everyone, and they said, "Okay. We'll go check it out." People brought a variety of guns for us to shoot the next morning, from .22 revolvers to a 20 gauge shotty. I had also brought a few airsoft guns myself. We all went up the hill, and everyone else saw it, too. It started to move towards us. The revolver was emptied, as was the shotgun and the rifle. The thing dropped, and everyone bailed into a large van someone drove up. We slept there, and climbed out in the morning. We looked where "it" fell. There was a lot of blood, but no corpse. There were scratch marks on the side ofthe van, and a lot of them. We cam there every year, and we haven't seen it again. P.S. Several loud booms were heard about 3 AM, and we figured it was whatever "it" was, something out of the ordinary happened to it. There was no light, or scorch marks, tho.
Good job you guys shot a drunk homeless guy.
Drunk guys don't wander ten miles from the nearest bar. Nor do they explode or leave scratches in the side of a van after having multiple bullets emptied into him.
Nor do they explode... after having multiple bullets emptied into him.
I'm pretty sure that part makes sense.
I'm pretty sure that part makes sense.
Exactly what I was just typing. :bang:
Any ideas as to what it was? I'm pretty sure it wasn't an animal or human
When I was younger, like around 3-8 years old there always would be a soft tapping noise coming from my bedroom door whenever I went to bed. It only happened at night when the door is closed. The way I would describe the sound is if you lightly tapped the door with the back of your fingernails. I became so annoyed and curious about the sound that at one point I would try to catch the culprit. I would open my door quickly and aggressively and try to see who is doing it, but I was never able to catch anybody. I even ran outside of my room as fast as possible and into my mother's room to see if she was doing it but she always denied it, and there's no way she could do it without me catching her because her room is down the hall and i'd be able to see her as soon as I walk out of my room. It couldn't be my brother because he was always out with his friends and whenever he's awake at home when I go to bed the tapping doesn't happen. It stopped when I was nearing my teen years however it did happen again a few months ago and again I didn't catch anyone. It couldn't be wind because the sound these doors make when it shakes because of wind doesn't match the tapping sound. There's also a lot of other tapping noises at night, especially on objects out in the open. You could literally have your face right at the object making the tapping noise but there'd be no reason for it to be making that noise. Other weird stuff happens here. Our smoke alarm tends to go off whenever it wants to, even after we replaced it with a brand new model. One time when it went off we couldn't get it to stop so we took the batteries out but it still kept going for about five minutes. Another weird thing that happened is that my dad brought an old electric stapler and it started stapling for no reason on its own, even after turning the power switch off.
Saved by a Colonial. This happened when I was about five. I had begun too get really well at swimming ,and I was constantly in the water. One day though... That would all change. It was a calm June afternoon in Hamburg,NY. I was doing some laps around the 3ft side of the pool ,and was moderately enjoying myself. I began to relax on my back on the water then.. Then my life was altered forever. Some one did a cannonball into the 6ft which made a giant wave in the 3ft, and at the time I was unlucky cause I wasn't wearing any form of floats. A giant wave crashed into me ,and I was sent to the 5ft side of the pool almost all of the wind knocked out of me ,and I slowly had begun to drown. After about a minute under it would of seemed I was already dead... Then something happened, I saw an old lady in a colonial dress step near the side where I was ,and she grabbed my arms ,and lifted me up from the depths and brought me up just enough so I could grab a deep breath ,and get out of the pool ,and pass out on the stair line. After, ten minutes of CPR I woke up coughing out the last droplets of water in my lungs only to ask, "Where is that old lady? I have to thank her." everyone looked dumb-founded ,and the lifeguard responded, "Sweetheart... Their was never an old lady in the pool area." This was the first paranormal experience of my entire life. It did two things to me... One I never was able to swim again till I was 11. (I feared pools for a very long ass time) Two.... It started my quest to search for things paranormal ,and made me learn astral projection.
Guardian angel? Has that ever happened to you before that time? [editline]01:38AM[/editline]
Can't remember, I think it was while my parents were going house hunting, (we lived in Virginia at the time), and since a couple of us were bored, we went driving around and saw it. It must've been in the countryside or something.
I was thinking how you guys would react if when you went to that exact location, the whole place was gone. HOW WOULD YOU GUYS REACT?
Sometimes when I go into my bathroom, a centipede falls from the ceiling onto the sink. :tinfoil:
The closest thing I have is to do with the place my grandparents had years ago in Mil Fleur (South of France), there was a place at night I could not physically bring myself to go to. I loved exploring the acres of land day and night, but this one patch I just could not make myself enter, I wanted to so badly though.
When I was around 7 or 8, I used to live in this nice place, had some nice neighbors and friends to play with, I loved it there... until at nights. I always heard noises coming from the hall and sometimes it felt as if someone was walking ontop of me. My neighbors told my mom that they had their frying pans and kitchen tools scramble and make sounds in the middle of the night when everybody was asleep. I was scared shitless and never got any sleep due to all this. Then, when I was 12 and living on a much more calmer place (I live there now aswell, with very rare paranormal activity, if there is any it doesn't disturb me very much :hfive:) my mom told me that the place we used to live on, had been built ontop of an old old cemetery. :iiam: I believe in and respect spirits and all that sortof stuff, and I'm fine with them aslong as they dont bother me really.
that there was a hobo living in my friends back yard for months and we never noticed him.
Was sleeping over at my cousin's house around Christmas break 2008. We usually sleep in the upstairs living room where we pretty much fall asleep watching T.V. He falls asleep on the couch farthest away from the stairs since the staircase leads to the living room. Well I sleep on the couch closest to the stairs. Anyway, on the staircase, his mom and dad put up this Christmas decoration of a small Santa Clause head that says, "Ho, ho, ho, Merry Christmas!" whenever you walk by it. Well it was pitch black in the house and his parents were both in their room sleeping and my cousin's brother is in there too. I wake up in the middle of the night to the sound of the decoration going off and footsteps slowly coming up the stairs. Seeing as how I'm on the couch closest to the stairs, I'm shitting myself staring at the stairs waiting for someone to come up. The footsteps just kept happening for about 10 minutes. No one else in the house was awake but me. Needless to say, I couldn't sleep that night and watched T.V. the whole time.
My house is some what old I think it's about 50 to 60 years now but anyways we found a stray cat one day brought him inside and during one of the nights we had him I heard a low pitched growl and a hiss. I went downstairs to go to the bathroom (better light and a toilet incase I get to scared :v:) but at the last step I was attack by a cat that stood upto my chest (I was about 4 feet tall) and tried to slash me. Then the next morning I had about 4 gashes all parallel to each other on my shin and the cat had disappeared. Weird thing is I had dreams about the cat months before this and still have dreams about my life months ahead of the present though.
Went past the vet my first cat got put down. Havent been past in yrs now. I thought I saw him at the window. Didnt even relise it was that vet until I looked at it properly.
-snip-
I wanted to go downstairs one night in the wee hours to grab something to drink, so I go down into the kitchen. As soon as I step in, I hear a growling noise. I assume it was one of my cats, so I simply turned on the light and looked around, but nothing was to be found. I shrugged it off. Realizing that nothing adequate was in the kitchen, I decided to go to the garage instead to grab a coke, and as I approach the door, I hear the growl again. I was suddenly overcome by a biting fear, froze, and a bright, green flash suddenly appeared before me and disappeared in a split second. Needless to say, I never did get that coke. :saddowns:

i was quite young, 8 or something, not sure, but it was at a year camp, just everyone was asleep, even the teachers n shit, but suddenly the light turned on, then, after this, a floating tophat, with a faint head under it walked pass the window of out door, it scared me shitless or the time where i saw a guy dressed in white jump down onto the stairs and disappear
I think I have ESP of some kind. This happens almost every night. Like I'll remember something from a show randomly during the day, and then when I flip on the TV that night, that same exact moment or episode is on. The first few times, I shrugged it off as coincidence. But the fact that it happens so often is kind of creepy :ohdear:
Holy shit, this used to happen when I was younger. I woke up, thinking about an Arthur episode and it turns out to be that same episode showing on tv. It's fucking weird.
Dunno what it was, (Loooooooooong time ago) I was getting into a car and I scraped my elbow on something, I turned round to see 2 strange looking star creatures, like something from Pokémon with a blue-ish center, My arm started to bleed, my mother came over and just picked them off with her nails.... It still has me wondering...
It still has him wondering :tinfoil:
The only experiences that i have had are creepy people following me in the poorer parts of Okinawa(japan) and some pitch black figure that followed me
Thi isn't paranormal, just very scary. One night I turned off my light and started to drift off to sleep when I heard a rustling noise at the foot of my bed. I instantly froze and could not do anything. I finally gathered enough courage to look up and the rustling stopped. When I laid back down again it started. Now keep in mind this sounded exactly like someone was messing with a piece of paper or maybe eating something out of a paper bag. I assumed it was something going through my trash bag. Anyways I decided to jump up and turn on my lamp and it turned out it was just my fan blowing air on giftwrap from a present I recieved at Christmas. I've had my fan blow around pieces of paper before but it never sounded as realistic as it did that night. Also when I woke up I could have sworn I saw some shadow dart under my bed but it was probably my mind playing tricks on me. Another story was when I was 10 and I had my friend sleeping over at my house. We watched a bunch of scary movies and were telling each other scary stories when all of a sudden, my door slammed shut. We both jumped up and sprinted down stairs but it turned out it was just the air conditioning turning on. Also my old house freaked me out for some reason. To this day I have dreams about this small playroom in that house and I always had an uneasy feeling when I was in it. I also used to have nightmares in that house and could rarely sleep upstairs because of an overwhelming sense of fear. When we moved, the nightmares stopped and I never felt uneasy again. I don't think I've had a scary nightmare since I lived in that house (5 years ago). I'm moving again in a few weeks to a really old house in one of the oldest towns in my state so I'm sure some scary shit will happen and I'll post it here. Also, does anyone else find themselves looking behind them while reading scary stories?
Translated zenopod's text while less tired, came up with something that made sense: "Runforyourlife" I triple checked, that's what it says.
