Alright I've got a few stories....
Saved by a Colonial.
This happened when I was about five. I had begun too get really well at swimming ,and I was constantly in the water. One day though... That would all change. It was a calm June afternoon in Hamburg,NY. I was doing some laps around the 3ft side of the pool ,and was moderately enjoying myself. I began to relax on my back on the water then.. Then my life was altered forever. Some one did a cannonball into the 6ft which made a giant wave in the 3ft, and at the time I was unlucky cause I wasn't wearing any form of floats. A giant wave crashed into me ,and I was sent to the 5ft side of the pool almost all of the wind knocked out of me ,and I slowly had begun to drown. After about a minute under it would of seemed I was already dead... Then something happened, I saw an old lady in a colonial dress step near the side where I was ,and she grabbed my arms ,and lifted me up from the depths and brought me up just enough so I could grab a deep breath ,and get out of the pool ,and pass out on the stair line. After, ten minutes of CPR I woke up coughing out the last droplets of water in my lungs only to ask, "Where is that old lady? I have to thank her." everyone looked dumb-founded ,and the lifeguard responded, "Sweetheart... Their was never an old lady in the pool area."
This was the first paranormal experience of my entire life. It did two things to me... One I never was able to swim again till I was 11. (I feared pools for a very long ass time)
Two.... It started my quest to search for things paranormal ,and made me learn astral projection.
calling bullshit. 10 minutes without breathing in CPR and you'd be dead. cannonballs don't make huge waves.
Stop giving Reborn9 awful spelling ratings, he's Russian, just like other countries that don't know how to do proper english, what do you except.
My keyboard letter h needs to pressed hard, so don't blame me if I misspell.
My scary story. Boo!.
STORY 1. THE AIR EATER.
My dog kept on growling and chomping in thin air right now. I think he's a ghost eater. Jokes. :p
STORY 2.
For serious this time. Me and my good pal "let's call him a different name post: Bob" went to a obvious abandoned factory downtown at a obvious time of "1:something o'clock" Scarrrrrry, you scared now? Abandoned.
A factory in the darkness?. Okay, I'll continue. We got straight in the thick of it, when we unlocked the rusty back door of the factory. We heard stories of a factory boss hanging himself quite some time ago. Why?, I don't remember. For a made up reason, let's just say, wife cheating on him, lol what?.
And many people investigated, to see what's all the commotion about a certain haunting, and people getting freaked out. You kept hearing slight moaning, whispering, and stuff like machinery being turned on out of nowhere for scares.
Well the hanging part, we didn't see. Like how you would see a ghost repeating current events of their death. We did see the rope used in the suicide. And it moved a little bit seeing as their was slight wind about. But nothing out of the ordinary. Decided to go upstairs to the main office. Locked, we broke in kicking door ass, to check things out. Strange reason, why no alarms worked, and we would of been caught red handed. Anyhow aside breaking a law or two, we got into the office, and found nothing of interest, seeing as everything was cleared, except the cabinets. All locked, until, weird ass things started happening, as "Bob" was startled by a shadow in the office room itself passing by quickly around. I saw it too, and flashed the light on it to see what it was, depending on if it was just a rat scurrying across the floor. And that was that, all over. We left the room in a quick hurry, in hopes there is no "oh hai, I'm a ghost, I slam the door" scenario. And left the factory. Though, we both looked back, as we saw a shadow in the window, on what seemed to be a person hanging on a rope.
:tinfoil: Crazy shit at the end, that was the only thing we really freaked out upon.
last night at about 2am some asian-looking guy rang the doorbell to our house so my mum went and looked who it was out of the window and he waved as if he knew us, then he walked out of the garden and just stood at the gate for a bit
for about an hour after that while i was trying to get to sleep i heard him talking and walking around the front/side of the house
not paranormal but weird
I can keep reading these stories forever. Keep em coming.
The only experiences that i have had are creepy people following me in the poorer parts of Okinawa(japan) and some pitch black figure that followed me
Dude i actually read about this stuff you said about Okinawa and there's some pretty crazy urban legends about weird shit happening to do with people following you there.
Need moar
I used to here banging noises coming from the room next door to mine, as i got older it turns out it was my mum getting nailed. Horrible images haunt me to this day.
I do have some freaky shit in my house but i will write about them later as i am about to watch some TV and i am bored >:D
Here's another story folks.
Many years ago me and my friend wanted to have a sleepover at his so we were going to ask his mum if we could.
On the way there i noticed that a Doberman Pinscher which usually patrolled the front yard of one of the houses we always went past was missing.
I was sort of happy because i really didn't like that dog, it was extremely aggressive.
So after we asked his mum and she said yes we went back to my house to get some stuff, and did so in a hurry as it was getting dark.
Then, i noticed something under a lantern about 20-40m to the left of us, and it was that dog.
We creeped off silently and as we went behind a wall we started running towards my house, and we ran all the way back to my friends'.
Now for the scary part:
The next morning we were told that this dog died in the morning of the previous day. :tinfoil:
This is either a coincidence (unlikely) or it was a ghost dog :gonk:
i once put a tin of candy on the sofa, i then turned around to close the door and when i looked back, they were on the floor.
i was like :wtc:
o no im scared
but seriously i once predicted my cousins pregnancy.
my mom was on the phone acting all happy and stuff, then she said to me "guess what?" and i said "L (lets call her L) is pregnant."and she said "yeah."
i was startled at myself.
Piedmont, but I looked in other places too, it's not there.
Yeah, I know this is two days old, and I haven't been paying much attention to this thread, but what exactly happened to you in NC? I'm a frightened easy scared little shit of a kid, but I love the paranormal. I live in Mooresville, about thirty minutes to an hour away from Charlotte.
I went to bed and I woke up backwards, as in my feet were at pillows and my head was at the foot of the bed.
The blankets weren't messed up or anything and I slept fine. :tinfoil:
Ehhh, well i once got hit in the back of the head by a pencil when i was alone in my room.
I don't know how the fuck it happened.
Well,This may seem a bit childish but I was some where around the age of 13 so I'll go ahead and tell my story.
When I was in the boy scout's we used to go to this camp site down in florida called..oklawaha.
At this camp there is a particular ghost story about a creature called rat man,(I know it's lame but stay with me.)
The story goes and scout got lost in the woods and started adapting for survival,He suffered hideioius disfiguration from malnutrition and eating stuff he found out there(The place he got lost around was rat man's island wich is a peninsula out in the middle of some swamp.)
Well a few of my friends and I decided to go out there about midnight we get out there and we are waiting for a while and all of a sudden we hear a noise,I shit you not it sounded like a million rats squeeking and running in our direction, but what was even more odd about the noise is the fact that it was coming from the swamp,We all got so scared we ended up running the full 3 miles back to camp and not stopping to take a breath.
It's a little cheesy I admit but at the time It scared me so badly I never stepped foot in that camp ever again.
Edit:
The wierd thing is nothing in the stories mentioned the kind of sound we heard that night.

One time just now your avatar make me shitbrix :saddowns:
Not scary but does sleep walking kinda creap you guys out? I mean think of what might can happen? I used to sleep walk all the time.
Whenever i go round my girlfriend's house i wake up at 5am(Normal for me. only time i get a good night's sleep *Wink wink nudge nudge hurr hurr*) Whenever i go downstairs, i find a freshly made mug of tea. at first i thought she made it but it's always fresh. still hot, but the Kettle is stone cold. one night i stayed up playing Re4 with her and she was asleep from 3 till 6 when i woke her up. at 5: Cup of tea on the side. nobody else in the house. nobody's died there. it's a new house. nobody in her family or who she knows (Thankfully) didn't die after she moved in
Naturally i take the offer and drink the tea :v:
[editline]01:05AM[/editline]
Another time we were watching Hostage and all of a sudden the front door opened by itself and slammed shut. i was walking round with a butcher knife for a few minutes. nobody there.
It's too late and I shouldn't be reading this thread.
Dammit.

No, no, no, you have to wear a red bandana or it doesnt count
My parents story of a supposed "UFO"
This happened in Wisconsin.
Before they were married, they were driving back to my dad's dad's house. It was night time so it was a dark country road. Mom was casually watching out the window when she thought she saw some black sort of figure flying parallel with the car, probably 3/4 a football field away. She knew it wasn't a plane and it was flying way too low to be one (about tree height), plus she knew a plane would eventually go ahead of you, this was staying PARALLEL to the vehicle. This dark shadow had no identifiable shape, it just almost blended into the background.
Eventually she pointed it out to my dad, he saw it too. After watching it for awhile, they decided to pull over to the side. As they did, the object floated a bit forward and stopped, in mid air. As they watched 3 large circle lights appeared. My mom starting to get frantic, crying and freaking out, yelled at my dad to turn off the lights.
As soon as the car lights turned off, the object's lights turned off about 2 seconds later. It then "turned" and went ACROSS the road (above it). They didn't go under it because they were worried, so it flew over and they got the fuck out of there.
I got a story for you guys, I'll type it up in word and paste it here when I'm done. It really happened to me when I was younger.

What?
I wish creepy shit would happen to me.
Yeah lol, no you don't. I haven't had that many creepy things happen, but enough to know that they aren't always fun. Here are some experiences I've had:
1) Exiting my room, I look down the hall to my dad's office, where he is sitting, with the light on, in front of his computer. All of a sudden, a woman in a white dress walks across his doorway, he does not react at all. I ask him if there's somebody else in there, to which he replies no. It was practically tangible, I still remember the way her leg flowed and moved under the thin silk-like dress. It was really weird.
2) When I was young I was sleeping in a house in St. Maartin. I had the light on because I was afraid of the dark. Anyway, my door is open the whole night. I suddenly wake up, thinking it is morning. I sit up immediately and look at the door since I felt something there. No parents or anything however is standing there. Just a large black shape, which slowly fades. I realize it is about 5 in the morning, and just ignore it and sleep. Only later did I realize how weird this was.
3) Random black shapes/people/animals moving, running, and walking around my houses. Happened a lot when I was younger.
I don't have weird shit like this happen anymore, the most recent one was the woman and it was easily the strangest one, although it wasn't scary. It was really neat. But other things I've seen have been discomforting. I hope for no others scarier than that!
EDIT: Slightly off topic but still relevant, has anybody been able to feel when energies are off in certain places, like houses for example? I always test to see how the energies in houses feel, whether it's malicious, beneficent, neutral, or just present. I often used to compare with my mom, who could do this, and we always came to the same conclusions even without conversing about it during the time we were in the houses. Like, even if the house looked fine, we could tell if something felt strange about it.
A car ignored some traffic rules and were speeding and almost rammed my car in the side but he turned away at the last second and drove away

that happened to me while i was walking down the street.
i think it's called homocidal joy-riding.
Hey you know what's scary
I'm sure this thread had 7 pages when I last looked at it.

Oh shit, I thought there was 7 pages too.
:tinfoil:
I haven't had that many creepy things happen to me personally, but my father has had a lot of weird stuff happen in his life.
When he was living in Hawaii, he had a bunch of creepy stuff happen in the apartment that he was living in. His sink faucet would turn on by itself, even after he had it replaced with a model that's meant to prevent that from occurring. Eventually, the situation came to a head when the sink overflowed. He decided to confront whatever spirit was causing the mayhem, and threatened it with an exorcism. The faucet never turned on by itself again. :iiam:
He also thinks he saw Madam Pele. When he was going to market in Hawaii, he came a across a tiny, ancient old woman with a massive, black dog with glowing red eyes. He was in a car with an old friend of his, and they both saw the figures. Papayas and pineapples could wait, so they headed home. :tinfoil:
