I recommend trying to stand in poses you draw, it just gives a good reference point to think from. Like, try putting your arms like that. Its very awkward especially if your walking/running/weird leg hopping :v:
That doesn't necessarily mean it's a bad pose to draw - many of the poses that one might use as reference from a life-drawing site or class look quite awkward. The key, I think, is recognising that some poses are good for learning anatomy and some are good for learning characterisation and actual posture

I like drawing exaggerated poses
I like drawing exaggerated poses
Thats fine as long as you dont make it an excuse for your work. The shading and colours look tight btw but the pose makes her look crippled.

Bluring things and adding a filter makes them infinitely more artistic.

Just finished my fourth day at my internship.
Doing matte paintings/background concepts to help the animation team get a sense of how things look/where things are spatially in the setting
I'm using the lasso/selection box tools constantly
I miss doing loose works like your amazing American Indian, Menter!
Heya guys, it's been a while. I haven't done a lot of new stuff lately, which bums me out when there's not enough drive to motivate you. It's quite hard!
I do want to show you this though,

I'm still proud of what I made with my own hands, it's a pretty special feeling. :D ...Even though it was quite a while ago too, but still happy with it!
What is it, can't judge the size - a mask or just a statue or something? In any case it looks creepy as hell, that's a good thing.

Thank you! And yes, it is a bust statue. I actually used a full bottle of gin as a support haha. It has move-able jaw and can turn the head around too!

Wait, whoawhoawhoa.
I was just showing his art. I didn't realise we had to do our own:(
Then I tried my own style of his.
It didn't say anything in the OP about doing our own art..
Yeah, sorry. I feel crap now.

Oh fuck off, "I took the other three with my iPhone" and your saying you didn't pretend you'd drawn them? What so your a photographer of other peoples work? :L stop digging the hole you schmuck
Everyone wants to impress other people and be admired, but as a fake artist myself let me tell you it's MUCH more gratifying if you actually do the work and earn it.
What's even better is when people start imitating your own art

Erh, yeah. I guess I'll take these insults then.
Well, I thought I would edit it to give him the credit then.
Sorry.
"Bye Daddy" - Inspired by a moment on Amtrak where a father handed over his daughter to a girl who seemed to want nothing more than to leave his life. It's sketchy and unfinished, and rhymes much in the way that the rap did that I was listening to at the time. For those who abhor rhyming in poetry, look at it as a lyrical piece instead.
This man with the hard face
Standin' in a hard place - putting
all he loves to fate, never knowing if
it's too late. Watching the child he loved
to help grow on the bus that's
rolling slow. Leaving him to drop his tears
on the tarmac - letting go of the pain that
no one should have to hold back. Nobody
watching knows why he's letting her go
but the pain it really shows as his expression
buckles and grows. Watching the girl he raised
slowly get taken away - when she is to return,
there's only God to say. But this is it, it's the
game we played making beautiful life with
some unfortunate lay. Making another life
for it's own misfortune riddled story. These
children they got to eat, so many on the streets.
Spitting their rhymes and rants about how their
dreams used to dance, and that life has left them
with nothing to live for but the slightest chance
of joy.
