I painted a really rough cherry tree thing for a background in the anime project thing I'm working on because there's no such thing as an anime without cherry blossoms

I like drawing really tall, slender characters. It's fun.

Apart from the nose, the line weight doesn't vary much. It's all very thick and I think that flattens your drawing quite a bit.

This is literally the first time I've ever heard someone say something less than stellar about gastric a drawings,

It's a valid point though.
I actually like having varied line weights in my drawings because it makes them look really cool, and I do so just by painstakingly going over and adjusting lines with the pencil tool.
I should nab a tablet sometime because I know that they have some sort of line weight magic in them.

Remember when you made your banme and were perma'd?
That really filled me with good cheer
Can we go back to that state of affairs
Gastric getting a tablet would be game over for all of us
You only use a mouse right now, right?
Gastric getting a tablet would be game over for all of us
I'm not sure if it would be easy to adapt from Mouse Drawing to Tablet Drawing.

Pretty sure as soon as he adapts, they should look pretty much the same. Doesnt look like he has any trouble getting them to look how he wants.

i do remember.
i only visit this forum to contact one person
I think the biggest difference should be in the duration of how long things take to do, tablet is a major improvement from a mouse in that regard if you had the patience to draw with a mouse before.
tablets are so hard to get used to ):
i stopped using my tablet for a year and when i came back i forgot how it feels

I want to say that it's supposed to be a take on the "halftone" printing technique usually found in old comic books, but I'm not sure. I've been working on a collection of posters. Here's the first:

I'm having trouble on the next one though. The foreshortening looks really strange around the hilt of the sword. Any suggestions?

I don't think the hilt looks bad, but one thing that might be throwing it off is that the guy isn't quite looking in the same direction as the sword blade is pointed. You could probably get away with lengthening the sword some more too, to make the picture more dynamic.

You have a lot of empty white areas.
Actually I'm not even sure what I'm looking at.
