Besides the obstacles that we are working on we have also finished this scenario boss. When he spawns there's a short dramatic intro but the game never actually stops, we wanted to keep the flow of things: Sorry about the quality and the quantity of GIFs, if anyone experiences slowdown when opening the page I'll link them instead.
Just a thought, with the amount of updates you're posting I'd suggest maybe creating a thread for your game.
gifs
The updated bust enemy looks better, I also take issue with the random orange spikes though One thing about what I'm seeing, the game looks extremely easy?
Did this in a massive hurry in like 40 minutes :[ I forgot to make more in-between frames for the peaks.. we'll just pretend it's for stylistic purposes
Just a thought, with the amount of updates you're posting I'd suggest maybe creating a thread for your game.
If more people feel the same I suppose I could do that, but I've been getting really good feedback here :v: @MakoSkyDub, I will try it without the spikes, it seems to be a popular opinion. About being easy, we have yet to really refine that type of thing, we will be actually developing an inside editor to create monster patterns and stuff like that in the following weeks. The game does get harder and harder though, but there is a lot to be added yet. @iliketokill, I'm far from an expert on anatomy but I feel that hand may have some weird proportions and pose, it's like if I try to do that pose with my hand it's very uncomfortable.

I was just posting it as a final result, moving onto greener pastures than 2d animation

Ya know after being a bit in the deviant art appreciation station it made me want to post something i made recently and see how it goes , my first digital paint ive done in a while . And yes the anatomy / proportions are off on the knight and soldiers but the sketch its based on was done 2 or more years ago [T]http://i.imgur.com/AOnYe8g.jpg[/T] [T]http://i.imgur.com/gltVGfU.jpg[/T]

Working on a short scene, need advice which one to go for as I like both! ZING for first, INFO for second. Also, does anyone know where I can get large smoke effects such as the ones that are seen when a nuke goes off? The smoke in my scene is too light, need some heavy smoke!

I couldn't finish any of my recent drawings for the love of me so I just put together all of my unfinished drawings to make a finished drawing. Say hello to Cassidy Enoch Valentine Serket Chu. this is what being an artist is all about
I was going to draw something about my lazyness towards drawing and time spent wasted playing video games but I got too lazy for THAT so have UNFINISHED and UNPOLISHED and UNGOOD
Giving photoshop painting a serious try and it's coming out better than I expected

alright time to compare [thumb]http://puu.sh/413Ha.png[/thumb][thumb]http://puu.sh/413PD.png[/thumb] inked one is earlier this year, colored one is from a couple minutes ago. hatching has successfully transitioned?
Okay guys did a quick paint of one of the thumbnails, am I going the right direction with this? I want the robot made of old locomotive parts.
Well, I made a montage of all the World of Warcraft cinematics. Took me a few hours, I think it's enjoyable even if you're not a big Warcraft fan, though you might not know much of what's going on - hopefully it's still entertaining. :)
Don't colour pick from your ref
Yeah I know I shouldn't but I was mostly practicing getting proportions right and the motions and all that. Future things I plan on using a pallet but since this is my first real try at a portrait in this I was lazy More or less finished it:

It doesnt really make it look like its the shadow

It's hard to pick out the feet and smoke and such from it. The parts would definitely look older with some rust but I'm not sure how you'd do that in greyscale.
Alien vs monster. Up to the viewer to decide which is the hunted one. Took around 7 hours in CS6. And no, it is not hentai tentacles.

I do recommend you do it every five or ten minutes as, if you're like me, it's easy to dull the tonal range greatly while working on an image and it helps to sample occasionally to make sure I'm not cutting out the contrast. But no, greyscale might be a good place to start since color can over-complicate the process and make it difficult to practice proper values and brushtrokes, etc. [editline]13th August 2013[/editline]
Alien vs monster.
