How can a young one suck the tit? Draw those tits on the belly, will be a lot easier. She could pick her baby up but I think that would be very annoying, she can't even bow down enough to grab a child from the ground. Nice work none the less!
Unless she has very saggy tits on her equine half they should be tucked nicely behind her leg out of view. Or she could you know lie down. [sp] ill draw a centaur with equine breasts for you then [/sp]
spines off and she looks like a hunchback, left elbow is too low and the wrist is incapable of bending like that.
I have been doing far too much black and white recently I tried a full colour image yesterday and oh god it's disgusting I"ll post it later maybe
same with me, maloof. working on a few concepts and color scheme for a future cyberpunk piece.

Just looks like a row of computers on desks. Colours are nice though, just needs less black through some reflections or shine in the blacks IMO.
Colors are fun. But black and white is a limitation which makes you get better at values and stuff. i learnt that from youtube so it has to be true.
Yeah I definitely have a better eye for values now, and I'm more capable of figuring out what are good, properly contrasting values when I put a low saturation filter over a color piece It's just getting back into the swing of using colours again that's tricky. My current colour stuff is looking like it did at the start of last year I'll do a couple of quick photostudies today, I think
Whilst I can understand the technicalities behind wanting to make Vector art I never saw the point as it was far more hassle then it was worth to get a decent end result. maybe its changed since I tried it but I loathed the experience.
I recommend checking out Inkscape. It's free, has 99% of the capability of Illustrator, and comes with an excellent tutorial. Vector art is fantastic for logo design, typography, and any DPI-independent art. I make a lot of wallpapers with vectors because then it's trivial to create a high-quality bitmap of it for any resolution. I also used vectors for making advertisements in college because it was very easy to work with text and high DPI stuff.
That's lookin really nice by the way! The lighter shape behind it makes it sort of look as though it's casting a shadow on the sky, which is neat
So, I took a break from studying for finals to redraw a doodle from my various notes. Haven't even remotely finished it yet, going to though. I'm still working on the cloth, and the overall flow of it. Gonna eventually (ha, like I'll keep my own word) do a digital piece with this guy: Thumbed for size, of course.
reminds me of ryu-gi for some reason
I can see the reason
reminds me of ryu-gi for some reason also
Can you post that at normal size in a regular walking cycle? I'm curious.
So I basically wrote myself off as unable to draw three or so years ago, but I'm trying to get back into it. For the past three years the only artist area I've been focusing on is 3D modelling. You might do master copies later on to inform your style but for just learning to draw I'd start with learning to draw basic shapes properly
Is it weird that I leaned all of my rendering techniques and lightning from video games?

Horses also don't have spear wielding women for heads. You should probably fix that.
