I like drawing nature but i'm colorblind (in some weird red-green-ish-i'm-not-entirely-sure-exactly-HOW-colorblind-I-am way) so I use alot of swatches. I also have way too much trouble with perspective. Do any of you rascals have any tips or maybe a link to a good book about it?
I really like this. How did you do this and the colors are ok. Colors of the Autumn.

Sooo cluttered Packing in tonnes of small-scale detail into a large piece makes everything fight as a focal point, so avoid that. All of that schoolbook doodle material that it's drowning in doesn't make the piece more impressive, it's just disappointing that such an obviously laboured-over picture comes out so poorly as a cohesive whole Also the values make no sense and the mid grey foreground elements look like they're the out-of-focus area of a photograph, because there's equally detailed crap in the bg which is on bright white. Instinct tells the viewer to look past the main subject to the lit-up stuff, but then the strongest focal point is the eyes of the rabbit (which makes my eyes hurt a bit to focus on because of all the glaring white surrounding it.

I used the brush-set made by Jamie Jones. Awesome guy who's ridiculously good. Oddly enough I always get in the mood to draw when I don't really have the time for it.

That's nice piece of work. I first tought it was real oil painting :D
Here's some recent Fallouty stuff
Very weird scale issues and style clashes up top there nox Also I know what you look like from poy now how strange :v:

It's actually the first nature-themed picture i've drawn so I just sort of went with it. I used the 'Freeman' brush for almost everything except the "background." Here's the link to the brush set.

I would pay for that artwork.
Just a little diddy I did.
Not enough living i think, need a big ship or a godzilla in the back... Suggestions ?
add a skycar stream and some clouds. some lights in the buildings, maybe some construction work.
Man, I wish my use of tone was half as good as my actual drawing skills... you've nailed it there.

I designed a automatic shotgun. It got two tubes above the barrel to store 4 extra shells, 8 in total. Same design with the UTAS shutgun. This is what I drawn so far. Any opinions and critiques would be much appreciated.

what's the point in having 3 magazines?
Why is the ejection port so far back
One of the tube is in the way. So it's behind the mag. I can show you how it works though.
what's the point in having 3 magazines?
The more, the better ;) Nah I don't know. I'm just using my imagination.

They flick the spent cartridge out at highest possible speed, not at the end of the recoil as it would just cause jamming due to the low force knocking it back.

I'm not entirely sure how it's going to work myself. I just thought about the UTAS shotgun design. It also got it's ejection port far behind.
it's also pump action.
Yeah i know.. I either need to find a solution or redesign it a little bit.
just move the ejection port to where that little slit is. add a cocking handle to the bolt as well.
working on a retro style Pokemon ripoff. Doing random sprite mockups just for fun at the moment. No real experience with pixel art but this seems to look alright.

That's the problem right there.
I have a weird habit of doodling helmets Eh, nowadays I tell myself to practice drawing people but I always doodle power armor and helmets instead
The next antianan. That (his) left arm looks stiff though. Lovely helmet design. Not a big fan of the rest of the armour.
