The bump in her left (our right) boob seems really weird. Doesn't really seem to follow the contours of the arm.
Not even sure what you mean by this, all I can say is the issues are definitely in the drawings, the quality of the photograph isn't relevant in this case :v:
Even if you ref'd them, you're obviously just trying your luck through 99% of it. You're piling lines on top of lines on top of lines until it somewhat approximately looks like a human being standing a certain way if you squint your eyes. In this way you are guessing the anatomy. You got ten incorrect lines, then you pick one that looks passable and carve it in heavier than the already totally opaque other ones.
Draw naked people, also ditch the stylised faces until you can handle three dimensions. Good manga style or cartoons etc. are the deft simplification of forms. If you're starting at the end product, doing simplistic drawings of forms that you don't understand, then you're drawing as a child draws.
For such a big subject you should look at getting a book as opposed to watching a video, if you're serious. There are a lot of different authors/artists that you might be recommended, the most touted is Andrew Loomis. Luckily there's been a pdf collection up for ages so you don't even have to buy a book if Loomis is the direction you choose.

Thank you so much for this link, Mako. This is really helpful. I'm just curious though, I have never seen any of your artwork. I would like to see them if you have it posted elsewhere.
A thing from the next episode of Senpai Club

Quick fine liner and marker sketch, took me longer than I wanted because I kept stalling as usual.
Crits on the rock? Its a material I struggle with but really like to use in my personal work.

is it possible to be sexually attracted to art lets give it a go it is 2014 after all
Hooray everyone is taking note of the things I say!
That's a step in the right direction, but he said "just line" and you shaded it. The shading kind of masks how accurately you can capture the shape of the apple, so maybe try again without shading.
Just look at the apple, and draw the lines that make up the shape in your vision. Don't bother with shading at all right now, just train yourself to see lines and curves of an object and not your brain's symbol for it.
I don't hold the shading against him (though it's pretty weird), at least he's clearly not drawing symbolically there. That apple isn't the ideal apple shape 10/10

That's actually a pretty strange coincidence. I didn't want to say anything but I saw the thumbnail and thought it was a rock man on his hands and knees being enturbulated from behind by another large cluster of rocks. And so the top right piece of right is the head, and the bottom right is the arms, and like... like, that's just me right? Guys?
what is enturbulation?!
I think i need an adult
I looked up the dictionary definition to make sure my use of the word was acceptable and it's even funnier than I'd originally thought.

Are you drawing from life? Either way for anything other than quick sketches you should pace yourself. Use a light mechanical pencil to sketch out the right proportions and basic composition at first and then go over it with cleaner lines with a darker pencil and start erasing most of messy underlines. At least for life drawings that gives you a better way of building up your drawing, and it doesn't take much longer either. There's nothing to critique because there's barely a drawing there. Take more time next time.

Went through a lot of redesigns, must have worked on it for almost 6 hours, constantly changing my mind.

buy a pencil. You can't critique anatomy without seeing the original picture

How's the flow in this animation.
Also, those colors are not meant to be final.
That is impressive.

Ive never found the need for multiple pencils. For just an underdrawing and a line sketch ive always found a single mechanical pencil gives enough range
