I'm sorry, this is creative work that DOESN'T deserve a thread. Go start a thread.

This is kinda old (and ugly), but I don't have a scanner anymore, so this is all I can post for now.
Man drawing with a tablet is hard. :/

I was thinking of starting a thread once we've got a bit more to show.
ah alright,
well I wrote this poem that is deidcated to a girl Im hopelessly in love with
A Sky not so blue,
a World not so free,
but all I want is you and me.
I feel numb,
oh so numb,
my feelings finally
taking form.
But as I live
and as I breath
my heart still longs for you.
But as I live
and as I see
It is clear that
I am living a dream.
For in a world not so free
with a sky not so blue
I will always long for you.
Hope you liked it :)
not to be a douche (but i'm gonna be a douche) but if i was a girl and you gave that to me i'd feel more than a little weirded out. especially if you were some random guy. go talk to the guys in the relationship thread.
More like naïve hunter hahaha!

This is a cool idea, but the planning didn't seem really necessary as they just rushed the doors and killed the enemy anyway.
You guys probably get this question a lot, but what is the best drawing tablet to begin with for a budget? Monoprice. I had the Bamboo and it was smaller, slower and less responsive. The Monoprice is awesome.

If you haven't already thought of it, I highly recommend giving some thought to randomly generated maps. I've been playing FPS for more than a decade, even if you have tons of maps, a meta will develop and the planning phase will be rendered useless because everyone will do it the same (the most commonly successful) method every single round. Counter strike is a good example of this.

Crit appreciated
For gesture/anatomy practice, I'd suggest working with a 'larger brush'; be it the flat side of the pencil if not the side of a charcoal stick. I personally found it to be more efficient, since you're using less brushstrokes, along with looking a lot more natural than having a rough & jagged texture. Not mine but e.g.:
This is a cool idea, but the planning didn't seem really necessary as they just rushed the doors and killed the enemy anyway.
We rushed the doors because the enemy's plan was to throw a big wrench into our plan, and at that point it becomes anybody's game. It's true that if you just bumrush it you have a chance of winning, but so does the enemy. If you come up with a really solid plan, it's possible to wipe out the enemy very swiftly. For instance, I was playing a round and I was trying to make sure the attackers weren't going to breach through a wall, but they kicked through a doorway, and while I was distracted they breached the wall I had been watching and killed me from there. It was a two pronged attack that worked exactly how they wanted it to.
Another time we were almost certain the attackers were going to cut the power, so we grabbed one of their rifles we salvaged from the previous round, turned on it's flashlight and left it on a table facing where they were almost certainly going to breach. They all saw the flashlight and thought it was another player, so they kept shooting at it, and we managed to kill them from the dark in their confusion.
daniel smith "wants to learn" how to draw for attention. he wants to get praise, he wants people to notice him.
hes posted a lot of bad work in other threads in hopes of getting ratings, mostly. the fact that he came back just to moan and whine in hopes of making us feel pity for him tells a lot already
let us forget him and move on
Now that I cleared my head I had time to think. And yes this is true even though I wish it wasn't, I draw for attention. I don't only share my shit on other parts of this forum, but also other forums and and even to teachers at school. I don't want this to sound an excuse but I constantly crave attention because I don't have any friends (Jeez I wonder why!) And even though deep down I want to get better, I just hate being outside of my comfort zone, it's a terrible personality trait I know but apparently it's another part of Aspergers (another excuse!). So I will be taking the slow route that may or may not even get me to where I want to be. Everything I make is pretty amateurish but being a great artist isn't what is required for being what I want to be, which is to do storyboards, write episodes and eventually maybe create my own cartoon series. For example Pendleton Ward and J. G. Quintel aren't really good artists either but they still got jobs doing that stuff, who knows maybe I will end up becoming "great" but yes it will take way longer to get there than it normally would by properly studying. Sorry for shitting up the thread from December all the way to last week, you won't have to worry about me ranting any more in here and I really hope this time around I will remember that. And I won't be snipping this post just like a pussy like all those other times, because I just figured that makes people even more angry.
TL;DR - Michaelangelo's magic hand not required for future job, will work my own slow pace, and yes I have an attention problem.

Need to sort that ASAP bro. I was very much the same and I got royally fucked over by my ex.
Not shared a bed with a girl in 2 years now, I pretty much lack emotion and don't really long after a partner. Not the best frame of mind to be in.
Best sort it out soon before it lands you in too much trouble.

This page is turning into one gigantic fedora
[editline]11th June 2014[/editline]
haw new page, that was bound to happen
well thank god for the new page, now we can have one untainted by the stench of fedora
goddamn i was almost cut into pieces by the edge
Partially motivated to keep working on personal stuff. Drained from some huge paintings I made for last semester. Largest one was 5 ft by 3ft 8in, acrylic on Masonite.

I don't see what was so funny about my post..
Those pictures and the piece I wrote alongside them got me a B at Advanced Higher Art so I'm pretty damn happy about them.
[editline]11th June 2014[/editline]
Also it wasn't just about "girl problems." There was a lot going on in my life at the time. The stuff that did involve a girl goes a hell of a lot deeper than most of you think: it was really quite twisted..

This isn't the first time you've mentioned your Advanced Higher Art, I think you should let it go
It's pretty blatant that that course/subject/whatever was worthless bullshit with a grandiose title, especially considering those images got you high marks. They're adolescent loser angst as portrayed through entry-level photoshop tomfoolery

I never said they were masterpieces. Who are you to stomp on something I was happy to do? Isn't art supposed to be enjoyed? Are you saying I shouldn't be happy about what I did? That damn grade got me into University, but that's not my point here. Also, it's not "teen angst" crap, I haven't told a fraction of what inspired me to make them.
If you're really being that judgmental about someones Art, implying that it's not something to be happy about, that to be proud of my work is stupid, then you not only do you lack empathy, you lack appreciation of Art as a whole.
