Your opacity might be too low, the values are muddy.
Also select everything and flip it horizontally, all of the small issues will be immediately apparent
Shed looks out of perspective (can't be bothered to check but the right VP looks off, the roof might be off too). It's also very very tall? Also there should be more poles visible going back. Again I can't be bothered to explain duplicating distances accurately, just look it up, the info is out there. The road usually will not reach its VP, unless the ground is perfectly flat for miles and miles. Especially considering your low eye level in that picture, even a slight gradient in the road would mean you end up using an auxiliary VP above the actual horizon for it (or below depending on the slope). The poles are too wide as has been mentioned already.
The shed is still out of perspective? I've aligned it to a vanishing point three different times now. As for the poles, I know there should be more, I didn't have the time to copy out a half dozen smaller poles and place them before I left. I'm also fixing their width, but after seeing a number of comments on them, I'm thinking that I've simply made them too short. Maybe they're not though; there's still clearly a scale problem somewhere so I guess I'll have to sort that out.
I think the real problem is that you're trying to draw a scene based on a grid. It simply doesn't work that way. Draw what you want by sketching out everything roughly first and then fix it later. Don't draw little details everywhere as you go along and wonder why the scene doesn't look right. It's because you're not drawing a scene, you're drawing little things here and there without thinking about the entire picture all along. Also are you using flash or illustrator to do this?
You're also drawing a perfectly straight road for miles and miles without any change in elevation. Again, a problem due to the fact that you didn't sketch it all out to begin with and work in layers. Look at references when you draw something, you can't expect yourself to know how everything in the world looks like out of your head.

Thanks for the pictures; can I ask which search terms you used to find them? Whenever I search stuff like "dirt road" or "kansas fields" or something it never yields anything satisfactory.
I'm using Flash because I wanted to animate bits of it later on. Also, what's wrong with having stuff in layers?
The road wasn't initially converging at the vanishing point, if you look at some of the older pictures; I did that because someone said the perspective was off. Now I have no idea what to do because of conflicting advice - do I have it converge at one point like it's one long-ass road, or do I have it cut off closer to the viewer like the camera is near the peak of a large slope? I definitely see the road curving up in those pictures, but those are out in (mostly) flat desert valleys and the roads curve up as they head toward the mountains, whereas this is something where I do not want to convey that. Valleys, even when they're flat as hell and their walls are far off and gently sloped, convey a sense of closed-ness. I want to convey openness here.

Thanks for this too.

What medium is this? It looks like water in places but the black lines look almost like marker.

probably.

Could be both, marker+watercolour is really fun and has very nice results
Yeah it's different size micron pens and watercolor
I reread that post and thought "why would he rate that funny"
Then through the lens of menter I saw "micron penis"
It literally took me a minute to realize that wasn't a micron penis
I'm kind of ashamed by that
yeah i was kinda ashamed to post about it but not ashamed to rate it funny.

It means I'll pay at a reasonable cost.

Also, you can see I fixed the shed/pole scales (I think) and added a little hill off in the distance with a continuation of the road, so that it doesn't look like the road's going on flat for miles. Does that look better?

Hey, someone say Warhammer? Cause I'm working on a few of those.

so mako, sorry but apparently the guy had more than enough recommendations for artists (which is annoying because he didn't even respond to my message)

Shed looks too small now. Look at the thickness of the near pole, it's like a TREE going by the shed (or the shed is tiny)
The "little hill" would actually be a mountain if you put it on the horizon like that
Where's the right place to post a graphic design (scoreboard) job?
The graphic design thread maybe
It was all the way down there in sad grey letters, didn't see it sorry.

I like how the (sharpness?) filter emphasises the edges and makes it pop out more.
