Isn't it pretty normal to hold pizza by the crust?
I think only NY pizza is held like that, because other types of pizza are too heavy and floppy to do that.
Well typically I would hold it more like this:

To avoid grasping it by the cheese.

Depends on the pizza.
If it has a thicker bottom crust or a slightly over cooked bottom crust, you should be able to hold it like that. Also keeping your thumb under the middle of the slice will usually be enough for most pizzas, like Michelangelo is doing here:

Question for anyone who uses Illustrator and/or Flash, do you sketch things out on paper or in a program and then import that image to work over? Seems like whenever I start putting something together I run into problems that may be remediated by having a sketch first, but I'm not sure...

I usually sketch stuff on Photoshop if it's complex and then use that to work from whether I'm doing a vector illustration or Photoshop painting or something. If it's something simpler like a logo or icon, I can usually just work straight from the pen tool.
I do sketch on paper for concepting though.

This is the second half of the cover, named Anagenesis, thus forming the full title, which I will fix once I have a proper typefont raedy.
This is all WIP btw, still needs inking and coloring.
Still working on my site with wordpress. Looks like its taking me way more time then I expected.
Dood, I'm looking forward to the comic.

which is gonna become a webcomic if enough people like it.
So I have been looking into getting a drawing tablet for the computer since drawing is something i love. But the mass amounts of paper I have everywhere gets a bit cluttered and out of hand.
I was looking into this one, called the " Ugee M708 Graphics Tablet and Digital Drawing Pen " since its average price is around 60 dollars. But seeing as even on amazon there are hundreds of these tablets all over from like 30-600 dollars. I don't know what to trust and if I get one I am not looking to spend more than 70 bucks due to a current budget problem. Any and all help is much appreciated guys, Thank you ! An of course I've done a little research on them and pricing but some helpful more informative minds might help.

remember that thing i did one time
http://gastrictank.deviantart.com/art/Battle-Loop-Remake-475544049
I redid the drawings in it, and added some fluidity to some of the motions. It's still mostly keyframes with slight bouncy movements, but heck I'd be lying if I said that wasn't my jive.

Done with these for now.
Did some studying in concept art.
What do you think guys, is this concept informative enough to create this part of a level in 3d?

I don't believe your height scales and color separation charts are as necessary as tonal/atmospheric concepts, which of course you do have at the top left and right. I think all the technicalities of the level can be handed by the game designers and modelers, so the most efficient way to contribute to the project would be focusing on tone and feel (i.e. exploring more of the nighttime concept for the entire landscape and not just the tent).

Finally working on finishing up a theme and flyer design for a local Christmas 5K. Stepping outside of my artistic comfort zone in so many ways with this one. Colored, cartoony, and a background. But getting paid is a pretty nice motivator. Here's the actiony bit of the flyer (got lazy on the distant tree line. I'll probably fix it, client is happy though):
