Mr. 0 or Mr. O (choose what you wish, both are fine with me :) )

I'm really curious how you draw these, would you mind making a video of a time lapse?
Of course if only you feel comfortable sharing your drawing style with others

Then I'd recommend you to learn how to draw sky and clouds as well.
Sky:
There should be a smooth gradient from top to the horizontal line (J.F. Christ taught me this :b). When it is sunset/dawn, there is a strong glow around the sun.
For the clouds:

For the water:
Don't draw every wave. Try creating its textures instead. Some soft gradient should be applied too.
Different water has different textures so it's impossible for anyone to tell you how to draw them.
A few tips:

Not an art, just wanted to share, if it is the right place to do it.
Maybe some of your remember that animated short I was working on a few months ago. I'm going to pick it up again as a side project for the summer and I decided to put some work into getting some proportions nailed down so I can keep everything consistent.
So far I've worked on the girl character, she's about 9-10 years old I think. How's this?

i dont think people should be perfectly rectangular

Do you have a background in the industry? The amount of work you produce is so high it certainly looks like you're used to having to do a lot of these.
yes joqqy you are just amazing

this post is more childish than your character can ever hope to be
this post is more childish than your character can ever hope to be
Good thing I never posted that then
I was mostly just a bit annoyed because I've posted this character in this thread several times before asking for feedback on the face and such, and after a while I finally got it to a point where everybody seemed to like it. This time I asked for feedback on the proportions since I already finalized all of the other stuff (and animated a few key scenes that are close-ups and therefore didn't need consistent body proportions) and nothing else. Dgg was suggesting a complete redesign of the character which would be incredibly inefficient at this point.
But yes, I am aware that I was acting a bit childish. I just wasn't expecting paragraphs upon paragraphs of pointers from a single person on finalized things that people in this thread already agreed on were good a few months ago.
Cross posting this with the programming section.
What do you guys think of this interface and art style in general?
The box above the skull is the description of the status effect. Although its missing atm.

Looks nice. What language are you developing game on? I want to start developing stuff too later on.
C# using XNA.
Although I plan on porting it to monogame so I can get it working on multiple devices (Ipad tablets etc).

It looks quite cluttered, what type of game is it? Also its bugging me that lots of things on there are really unhelpfully abbreviated, like, looking at that as an outsider to what your making I have no clue whats happening in the bottom left had corner.
What the hell, I'll leave Chell here too, http://fc08.deviantart.net/fs71/f/2013/133/f/f/chell_by_lightsydeturian-d657j3l.png

Why so big?
Why so big?
Mistake in Illustrator, 1920x1080 px turned to 1920x1080 cm, original file was around 1/2 a gigabyte.

Its a tactical RPG. The clutter on the bottom left is when you select a unit, it displays its stats, condition and other information on the bottom.
Ws = Weapon skill
Bs = Ballistic skill
Ms = Magic skill.
S = Strength
etc.
You can hover over any button to get a description of what it does.
Thanks for the input, that's what I'm looking for.
i think i might have an addiction to writing on myself

Since they are all skill levels, I would drop the s, it makes it that bit harder to figure out with it there, and easier to see at a glance without, since the s doesnt really add anything. I would personally not shove everything in the left corner, move the skills and bars over, and move the name and class down. It make it easier to glance at, being in the middle of the screen closer to where everything can be assumed to happen, and should make it looks less cluttered since it isn't shoved all in that one spot with empty space by the rest.
wip, i'll try to take on this tomorrow but i might give up on it :( lost my motivation halfway through.
