i want to improve, it's just that i can't take praise or accept my own creations, i strive for perfection which i never achieve
I'm gonna level with you dude. You do need practice. But practice alone can only get you so far. What you should do is ask for some feedback/tips.
Geometry class I hate forgetting my sketchbook
Did you attach the axe and shield to the wrists as a design choice or because you couldn't be arsed to do hands? Either way, great job.
It was actually a design choice. The horns on his helmet was also supposed to be nailed into his head, but i went with the helmet because i think it looked cooler. His feet were supposed to be some kind of metal prosthesis, but i was so happy with his them i let them stay.
[t]http://f2.braxupload.se/cohki7.jpg[/t] [t]http://f2.braxupload.se/m48bv5.jpg[/t] so you guys honestly think that my sketches are good?
Not sure if serious on first picture, but - Your drawings are made up of obvious symbols (a nose looks like this, a mouth looks like this, an eye looks like this), not what you actually see. Get this book, follow it front to back. Do all of the exercises. http://www.amazon.com/Drawing-Right-Side-Brain-ebook/dp/B005GSYXU4/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1369762956&sr=8-1&keywords=drawing+on+the+right+side+of+the+brain Use a tablet when you know what you are doing. Get pencils + paper. Draw from reality. Drawing stuff you can't see is useless until you have drawn enough stuff you have seen to know how something you can't see should be projected onto 2 dimensions.

I don't have paper neither pencils.
I'm drawing by reference and i'm using my Note 2.
Get the book, and actually draw by reference (read the book, then you will know what I mean by this)
I don't have paper neither pencils.
Buy paper, buy pencils. You either want to get better or you don't. You said you've been drawing since 2009. Adapt. I'm sure you're heard the following quote - "Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again but expecting different results."
i'm not gonna buy stuff just for drawing, i'm not that interested in it, just having something to do while i'm bored on work i.e.
Why did you come here when you clearly have no wish to improve? I don't mean you don't wanna be better, everyone wants to be better - you obviously lack any will to work on getting better. So what did you want to achieve by coming in here to whine about not improving when it is obvious that you don't even want to improve? P.S. Pen and paper is not that hard to find.
Stayed up until 4.30am trying to get this done, thought I'd at least get a couple of hours sleep and work on it more this morning before presentation. It's 8.30 now; not long to go! Rough perspective drawings of the two designs I'm going to present. Went with very similar bases (minor differences) and differentiated the two primarily through non-silhouette visual style which is defined by the surface shapes, etc. Gotta work on them some more, refine each individual style, do a draw-over to make it clean and tidy, add some basic values and maybe some colour, compose nicely on the page and then submit! [editline]29th May 2013[/editline] I terms of scale I shrunk the engines down a heap and I'm thinking I'll shrink the 'head' of the second design down too, to emphasise the bulk of the ship
i'm not gonna buy stuff just for drawing, i'm not that interested in it, just having something to do while i'm bored on work i.e.
So you make the effort to upload images of your drawings, go on a forum, post about how you can't seem to get better, then spit back the advice which people give you, despite the fact that buying the necessary equipment would cost less than an hour's minimum wage and take about the same time as you have spent complaining to us here. If that's your reasoning process, you're better off not getting the book because you wouldn't understand it.
coloured an old doodle
I don't have paper neither pencils.
This may be the worst excuse in the history of art You should do some more thorough and long-term drawings of actual people, not blobby cartoons, and then see if you can get crits on conceptart.org or something.
I think his legs gotta be stronger
Actually, I think these thick legs make a cool contrast with the bulky and armored upper part. This exageration makes him look somewhat original, even though it's a bit impractical.

aerospace ship concept :v:
