Working on this a little bit at a time when I take breaks from writing this essay I feel like the bigger building in the foreground just to the left of the big blue-lit focal building is breaking the composition. Think I should shrink it a bit, give it some lines to lead into the primary focal point (that blue building), etc. Y/n?
Looks awesome. For some odd reason it looks out of perspective to me, i got no idea why.
I did this a week or so ago: I've always done artwork like this for scrolling backgrounds in games. I'd like to do some more of this in a sort of original gameboy style
The stars are a bit too repetitive and the moon clashes with the style; other than that it looks cool :)
tried to make my first pixel art :$ not sure if i'm doing it right

I think one of the problems with your painitngs is that your strokes almost don't blend. This makes them look really sloppy. I mean, I know these pieces are just concepts, but still. It's not that difficult to quickly blend some strokes a bit, but this will strongly benefit to the overall quality of the picture. Nice mood nevertheless.
tried to make my first pixel art :$ not sure if i'm doing it right
Something about this not being animated doesn't feel right.
Something about this not being animated doesn't feel right.
i shall animate it specially for you
Guys, do you have any tips/tutorials for doing pixel art? I want to make a mod for Dungeons of Dredmor, but I am awful at drawing pixel stuff.
tried to make my first pixel art :$ not sure if i'm doing it right
Save it as a PNG.
Now I want to know what grade you get on this final project
I actually got 100% My teacher really loved it. I only spent 2 days on it
Save it as a PNG.
Just to add a little bit of explanation as to why this should be done - PNG will likely be smaller due to blocks of colour, and you won't end up with that shitty mottled effect in areas of high contrast. PNG supplies lossless compression which means even though it can in certain circumstances (such as this one) make small files, the image will be pixel perfect. JPG on the other hand decreases the quality of the image in its compression (lossy), which in areas of high contrast and sharp edges can be very visible. General rule of thumb is to use JPG for photos and PNG for everything else, as PNG will make massive files for photos and JPG will make every image other than photos look awful.
I drew Skeletor once, not very good

I like your standard painting more than your pixelwork
I like your standard painting more than your pixelwork
They're both kickass I can't decide
-snip, not creative-
Aprox 2 months with painting/concept art/usage of a tablet to draw Aprox 4+ years of pixel art. So hopefully my pixel art is better than my paintings. I don't post the stuff i believe are my best pieces for non obvious reasons.

Does ventrilo harrasment stuff count as creative? :v: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/11891459/I'll%20come%20and%20save%20ya.mp3 People always seem to love getting their voices remixed, this is one of my favs [editline]3rd June 2013[/editline] and the track without the voice, if you're interested https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/11891459/Rap%20Over%20Me%20II.mp3

I'm sort of going through in passes, adding more detail and tidying it up with each pass
