They look completely flat. And jelly girls should be semi-transparent and shiney, like well... jelly. Although you can use soft highlight they should also have harsher sharp shines as well. They look more like play-doh at the moment than jelly. Really though, go do some from life studies for creating form and shape. Once you have a grasp on that I would recommend looking up how weight is distributed on a female body, they don't really look tubby so much as just weirdly wide, but that also is partially the lack of shading i'm sure. edit: Have some really quick jelly balls for example. Some package download icons for a work-in-progress site using the torture apparatus they call Inkscape. Hi guys! This drawing isn't done yet, but I like how it looks mid-drawn so I decided to post it. Advice is appreciated as always!

solid [editline]21st June 2013[/editline] ground looks a bit fuzzy and pixelated in comparison to the sharpness of the door though
solid [editline]21st June 2013[/editline] ground looks a bit fuzzy and pixelated in comparison to the sharpness of the door though
yeah. i guess i shouldn't work with textures because it looks like shit when i try lol [editline]20th June 2013[/editline] i tried to slap in something on the ground to make it look cool but it looks shitty now that i look back at it. too bad i didn't save the .psd. the reason i applied the texture was because the door, mountains and sky looked too realistic compared to the ground, but in the end i covered the entire ground with my own brush strokes and a few parts from the texture were left showing (and they were blurry because i usually work in a huge resolution).

Does anyone know the video where a guy uses gradient to add depth into grayscale paintings? In which he constructed a scene similar to this:
that link is broke as fuk
Probably something wrong at your end with puush. [editline]21st June 2013[/editline] Wait are you talking to MenteR?

I wanted to make a LAN based RPG that plays similar to Final Fantasy because a couple of friends and I like doing play throughs of final fantasy but it sucks having one person in control. This is for that.
Looks good, i'd drop the black outline though
Yes, a dark brown would work better
