Though I haven't read the Gcon lore in a long time...
lore is the nerdiest word

For sketches they aren't bad, just crude.
I like the futurism colony feel of the middle panel, but the t-rex is shotty in its overall anatomical shape.
Last works on the forest are nice, I can see its beauty without color and thats hard to accomplish.
As I've said many times, that scribbly messy shading isn't doing your work justice!

//So can you share them by any chance?
Also, I know I'm a bit late, but

Anyway, just did my first portrait in a long long time.

Dude, this is sweet. I really like your strokes.

I'm happy with the way this thing turned out. I made this using ONLY TWO texture images.
First I warped them into the shape I sketched out earlier
then I managed to shade in the anatomy on her torso and face with ONLY the burn tool.
Phew! That was a challange.
I would love some advice on this. I kept getting stuck at the face.
it moves too

Maybe sink the eye sockets in?
I would keep the features particularly hollow.
(this was done in 4.9 seconds MS paint. it is a rough outline of where potentially shadowed indentures could find a home)

Thanks mate. Now if only the burn tool would shade like it did on the torso instead of oversaturating everything maybe ill get some progress.

Really like these, especially the second. I like how there's actually not that much detail around the building, but there doesn't need to be. I only noticed it wasn't detailed after already seeing what was supposed to be there.
How long did they take you and any advice on environment sketching?

I wish there was gradient paper IRL.
Stupid hooded self-portrait, click it for a bigger version.
Done with a mouse in Paint Tool SAI.

Does any one know what the hell is happening with conceptart.org lately? Does it have a midlife crisis?
I also did this 'wall' to inspire and remind myself to draw more

Hmm, that warp portal was simply beyond my menial abilities right now. I tried but fuck, man. I pretty much gave up on that.

really cool man, shows the importance of good values
I loveeee that picture, but the truck thing kind of takes away from it with it's perfect edges and just generally looks out of place imo. Other than that it's wicked.

I severely disagree with this.

An attempt at drawing an environment.

I like environments best but I can only really draw small objects well (probably because it's easier to stop them from looking flat). Going to draw a lot of environments to try and get better.

I like the direction you're going in. Maybe try to incorporate some colored pencils or something?

Don't outline so much, and draw from a photo :) I'm working on the same thing at the moment and it helps a lot. Your drawing symbols at the moment, not actual things.
While i'm absolutely shit myself, I see potential in that.
Perspective issues, etc.
