• Marriages Within Family: Is It Okay?

if it isn't blood relation, then I'd say go for it only marry blood-relations if they're really, really distant cousins (like so distant that you can't even trace the lineage)
It's okay to marry your sister as long as you two don't bang
No blood relation and it's fine by me, that doesn't mean it won't be akward though.
This thread is starting to disturb me. Is the OP seriously trying to convince himself that it's ok to fuck a member of the family; cousin, aunt, sister etc.?
No blood relation = 100% okay.
It doesn't effect or hurt me so it is ok, even by blood. I don't care if someone marrys their sister
IT is k for your kids if you have no blood relation morally it is not right. it is not right to fuck your sister (even if she is not blood related) same with any other family member if op is a virgin and so desperate for sex then go find a whore or sum thing to fuck your sister( family member) just so you can lose your virginity. LET ME STATE IT IS NOT MORALE'y CORRECT TO FUCK OR MARRY ANY ONE THAT IS RELATED TO YOU BY BLOOD OR NOT NUFF SAID!
OP is back tracking. He claims he's not talking about himself, but when asked if it's a new thing or grew up with the cousin he goes on to say..
Kinda new. Like, 5 yrs, but we don't see each other all that much.
OP just admit you wanna marry your cousin. This is FP/GD ... alot of wierd shit gets posted here, yours is no shocker. _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ Anyway, my friend dated his cousin for a couple of months, but they actually didn't know they were cousins. I wish I was there to see their faces when they found out. It would be a weird ass story to your kids/friends/people you meet if you say you marry your step cousin, people will only take in the "cousin" and not the "step". Just like some people in this thread. I wouldn't really recommend it due to this, and as you said, will cause complications within family labels (mother in law etc..) Fucking her on the other hand, go for it, as long as it's your/her secret.
That would be so awesome to have a hot step sister your age who is totally DTF.
If I married my cousin, I'd have to deal with meeting Justin Beiber in person every week. No way.
That's means a chance to kill him every week. Take it
no blood = go for it. Morals were developed because of our stupidity to limit ourselves. Tbh I don't really care even if you bang blood related people, just don't have children. Morals are subjective, different people have different morals.
this thread is giving people ideas and op if you cousin is hot give me her number i sort your problem out for you :gizz:
Depends how blood related you are. In terms of blood relation you really share very little blood relation to even your first cousin, your first cousin only shares 12.5% relation to you, but there's just enough that it's sort of wrong.. as you go down the cousin line, things start to get a lot more diluded, only sharing 3% relation to your second cousin, and 0.75% relation to your third cousin, I'd say at fourth cousin (0.1877% relation) you're basically clear of any significant genetic relation, but there's still the awkward social circumstances. Probably best to avoid that whole deathtrap anyways. Rule of thumb if you dabble into people that are even mildly related to you, you should probably not have children.
Seriously, why is it so bad to marry someone who is from your family? It's not weird at all, though I wouldn't do it.
Seriously, why is it so bad to marry someone who is from your family? It's not weird at all, though I wouldn't do it.
Because your babies are ugly. Other than that is' opinion based
Dr. Frankenstein marries his adopted sister. [editline]29th November 2010[/editline] And yeah that was totally creepy.
Because your babies are ugly. Other than that is' opinion based
How would you babies be ugly?
How would you babies be ugly?
Genetics. If you have a baby with blood related baby, there's a HUGE chance the baby will be damaged in some way.
why is that anyway I don't understand
I don't remember but it's something that relatives have more of the same (forgot what, a gene or something) that causes mutation, while strangers usually have normal amount of that thing so it evens out.
Marriages within family? My mummy is married to my daddy? So?
It doesn't matter. People will think it's really, really, weird, but there's really nothing wrong with it if you don't have children.
It doesn't matter. People will think it's really, really, weird, but there's really nothing wrong with it if you don't have children.
OP can easily have children since they're step-. They're not even related.
OP can easily have children since they're step-. They're not even related.
In that case, go for it. [editline]29th November 2010[/editline]
I don't remember but it's something that relatives have more of the same (forgot what, a gene or something) that causes mutation, while strangers usually have normal amount of that thing so it evens out.
That's not quite it. In genetics, there are recessive genes and dominant genes. In order for a dominant gene to be expressed, one parent must pass it on to the child, but for recessive genes, they both need to pass it on. Certain uncommon recessive genes are harmful, and blood relatives are more likely to have the same ones. I probably didn't get the terms right, biology was a while ago. The important thing though is that this is not caused by mutation, which is something else entirely.
I don't remember but it's something that relatives have more of the same (forgot what, a gene or something) that causes mutation, while strangers usually have normal amount of that thing so it evens out.
No, you're just horribly confused, mating between blood relatives only increases the chance of the manifestation of recessively linked genetic disorders. Sam, you and your ninja edit beat me to it. Your explanation is better than mine anyways.
Just because you find it gross doesn't mean it's wrong Grow up etc
You're telling me to grow up because my opinion on what I think is morally wrong or right differs from yours? I never even flat out said it was wrong; Just that it disturbs me. When you actually sit and think about it and look beyond the knee-jerk reaction, what's the worse that can happen right? If there's no blood relation...it shouldn't technically be a problem right? Go and fuck your cousin then. Have fun telling friends and family that.
Go and fuck your cousin then. Have fun telling friends and family that.
I will ;D, Lmao. Honestly, calm down bro
Sure, but please don't have babies. Not for moral reasons, but because you'll mess up the gene pool and nobody wants that.
Sure, but please don't have babies. Not for moral reasons, but because you'll mess up the gene pool and nobody wants that.
Read. NO. BLOOD. RELATION.
How creepy would it be if I said "It's okay." Not creepy at all? Wrong. Because I didn't clarify if I meant non-blood related or blood related.
