Would you still call Modest Mouse indie?

Well, Modest Mouse has always been my favorite. Whether they count or not. :P
Can anyone redirect me to some decent indie?

Built To Spill sounds exactly like Modest Mouse. There's a song by them in my first post in this thread.

also Pixies and Pavement
Thanks Pie. Looking now.
Just bought There Is No Enemy by them. I'm liking it so far. Thank ya.
Indie music doesn't mean anything anymore. But I accept "indie rock" as a legitimate genre.
Anyways, the two most mainstream bands that are always labeled indie are, in my mind, Death Cab For Cutie and Modest Mouse. Both of them are great, and I love all of their stuff. And both have changed a lot over the years. Lately I've been listening to DCFC's The Photo Album. It's not as catchy as their new stuff, but it's just as emotional and angsty. It's good shit. As for Modest Mouse - The Moon And Antarctica is their best album. People can disagree, but I stick firmly by tM&A. It's such a fucking genius album.
