I just get depressed when I think about relationships and my previous choices.
I'm sorry to hear that
I stayed up all night with my girlfriend just talking about stuff.

Hey, anyone remember how my cat got sick and slowly died almost 3 years ago and I get really sad and posted about it?
Well, the same thing is happening to the new cat that my mother brought in from the shelter only weeks after the old one had passed, that I slowly had learned to love and care for despite being upset about how a new pet was supposed to quickly skip past any emotional reaction.

Woke up at 5:20 pm. RIP sleep schedule, again.
Terrible headache.
Can't sleep.
Have to wake up early.
FUCK
I have written so much in the past few weeks it's not even funny
Last year I thought people over dramatized finals season, mostly because I never studied, but oh good god they were all so right
I just gotta take a math final tomorrow morning and I'll be solid. Wrapped up my other courses last week.
Taking a physics and diff eq. final today and tomorrow respectively. Only problem is I actually have to work a shift tonight, so it's going to be interesting.

As long as you remember that mitochondria are the powerhouse of the cell it'll all be okay
But srsly gl on diff eq I don't have that until Wednesday. Laplace transforms were easy until convolution stuff
Man, you guys are all going to some smartypants schools.
Meanwhile my school has been having karaoke events for the past week.
Granted, I'm going to a vocational college, not an upper secondary one.

The competitive environment is tough and has its downsides. The CSE department being one of the best in the nation means that you need an almost perfect GPA of a 3.8+ to get in. Most other departments are all competitive entry based, and the academic environment in the years before you're in a department suck - it's every man for himself as helping someone else out just makes chances worse for you since everything is graded on a brutal average curve (Ave. Locked at a 2.5 for intro Chem, for example).
But on the plus side it is a multi-billion dollar research uni, so opportunities to work in labs that lead their field are EVERYWHERE and while the administration can fall down a bunch of goddamn stairs the majority of the professors are really cool people exceptionally knowledgeable in their field.
Like most colleges it's what you make of it. I'm really only here because it's the only aero/Astro school in my state. Somehow, in Boeings home state, there is only one real place to get an Aero degree. W/e

Nothing wrong with Vocational schools either, besides the only school in state thing I'm also here because I really want my degree in that field, and music degrees for what I want to do are a waste of time. Going to wherever suits your wants the best is better than pursuing a four year degree in a field you are meh about

Is it bad if I don't know what convolution even is? :x
Might need to study more

I doubt we have the same coverage of all materials in diff eq, if it's not on the course calendar don't worry about it

The fucked thing here is that you have a higher chance of employment if you go through vocational. Since it prepares you for less-than-prestigious jobs like electrician, hairdresser, plumber, and media assistant(which I am doing), while after upper secondary, you still gotta work for a doctorate before you can get properly employed, and Finnish employment being what it is, your time is going to be the opposite of good.
I wish my sister the best of luck, as she is working towards becoming a vet.
Besides, vocational degrees usually pay a whole lot more especially for younger folks, you could become an electrician and study for EE in addition if you really wanted to and probably end up better in the end
