ok this is too much I've been trying to forget him for the past 2 months but everyday has been a torture when I think about him. I tried dating other guys but it's no use. Funny thing is that I saw the motherfucker last time I dated someone else. This is driving me nuts and I wish I could delete memories of all of this

Trust me, I never thought I needed one, but it got bad enough a few months ago that I finally went to one, and she's helped me with a lot.
I finally bought my new computer! Behold!.

An X99 i7 with 32GB of RAM but a GTX 960 2GB, that's a laugh. Should've just built it yourself.

Should've just built it yourself.
the worst part about it is that it uses ddr4 ram (no performance boost) and uses a 7.1 soundcard (7.1 is pretty much a shittier version of stereo) it seems like they wanted to reduce bottlenecks by giving it ddr4 ram and more of it, and giving it a better CPU, but if they used a slightly cheaper CPU with much cheaper ram and less of it, they could have directed more of that money to the GPU and made the computer overall a lot better at least the build is great for swapping out GPU's in the future, it'll probably last a solid amount of time. http://pcpartpicker.com/user/jce1993/saved/cRYxFT using the listed specs could have saved over 100$ on the ram though
Jesus fucking christ, I bought the best pre-built I could find at a relativly decent price. So I didn't just buy parts and build it myself, whop de do, I'll do it when I have a job and my mom won't get on my ass about doing it myself. Just get off my back about it please and be happy I'm going from the shit monster rig I've had all this time, and I'm finally getting something to keep up with gaming with. [editline]29th December 2015[/editline] I mean I get what you guys WOULD have wanted but come on you really need to get on my butt whenever I show what rig I decided. Plus it happens EVERYTIME I want to talk about getting a computer.

Personally I just like calculating and figuring out how it all works together once next year hits and the 1000 series gpu's come out it's pretty much an even better computer
Like seriously I post about asking for last minute PC advice before I commit to buying a rig, but noooo that's not important, what's important is letting me know that I could have saved $100 by getting a different kind of ram than something else. Like seriously I barely got any useful info about what to keep an eye out for, it was just about how I'm some phleb for not using custom parts and just going pre-built. It's just a tiring thing ya know?
Idk have you considered the multitude of other spots to ask for advice cus I guess not Like the build a PC thread on FP, or /r/buildapc and the like. You could be salty if you asked for advice in a thread or community dedicated to PC advice but you didn't really seem to do that? That rig is hilariously overspecced for RAM, would've been better to drop the RAM and lower cpu slightly and go for a much nicer GPU if you're just gaming. If you do A/V processing work the i7 makes sense, and there are a few situations I could envision one using all 32gb then too.

Prebuilds are very commonly odd in their build as they have a few misplaced parts. But sometimes its easier to just buy a PC and be done with it. just be glad you didn't buy an alienware, because people would have rightly destroyed you :v:

It's not even that I didn't know what I was doing, it's that I made a totally simple to make mistake. this was the kind of mistake that makes a man flip their shit and scream, and when you're building your first PC it's easy to fuck something up really terribly without realizing it, even if it is easy to do.

I fucking NEED to replace the shit box, upgrading the shitbox is impossible with the shit case I have, it's a business computer case :v:. It's lasted me a long time, and I'm happy for that, but I can't play games as they're going 64bit only, and Fallout 4, the one recent game I SUPER want to play because I love the Fallout games, has been out for a month now.
a 960 will pretty much run anything on ultra at 1080x60fps, if witcher 3 on very high w/o hairworks I rebuilt the PC in PCPP, the only thing it'd need is a monitor and you'd be set for about the samish cost. Could even swap stuff around for less of course, that decision will take significantly more time and building a PC isn't playing your game, which you would be doing the moment you get your prebuilt.
of course, that decision will take significantly more time and building a PC isn't playing your game, which you would be doing the moment you get your prebuilt.
Pretty much. The new rig is for two reasons. 1. Play the games I couldn't play before because my GPU was shit or I didn't have 64bit. 2. Be able to play future games, and keep up with the industry I love dearly.
I made the same mistake and bought a $1000 computer that's arguably valued at $300, wish I had someone tech savvy instead of the guy who makes commissions off the stuff he sells.
dear god wtf sounds like you bought it in retail ...don't buy gaming pcs from retail
too late for that
Should have at least used CyberPowerPC or whatever. My brother custom built his computer with them.
thats what he linked though... [editline]29th December 2015[/editline] this thread is getting less and less gay by the minute so i'm going to post some rather male artwork of the GLORY of PC master race [t]http://s3.amazonaws.com/thumbnails.illustrationsource.com/huge.14.74642.JPG[/t] thread saved
thats what he linked though...
In addition to retail offerings, you can get custom builds from CyberPowerPC too............................
he probably meant ibuypower
That's fine, but I mean I'm upset because that's all I've gotten tonight when I mentioned getting a pre-built. It's just a tiring thing ya know?
Maybe if literally everyone you ask is saying the same thing they might be on to something.
never seen a therapist, never plan on it
good luck
Maybe if literally everyone you ask is saying the same thing they might be on to something.
The machine he got is a tad unbalanced, yes, but pre-builts are good for people who have no time or interest in building a PC.
never seen a therapist, never plan on it
You'd be surprised how helpful they are
I hate how everyone on the Internet seems to complain about how therapists don't do anything but in my experience therapy has done nothing but good
The machine he got is a tad unbalanced, yes, but pre-builts are good for people who have no time or interest in building a PC.
Its not really a good idea to post stuff about prebuilts when you're on an internet forum well known for an elitist community of PC gamers, it's obvious what's gonna happen/happened to him like 5 times already. I aint saying that people shouldn't be limited on what they post its just that you should know what to expect when you've been around in a place so long, I wouldn't be surprised if people would talk shit about my setup even tho I built it myself.
