That's just a very pretty guy. You can spot the mustache peeking out from the guitar. I've been having a really shitty transition in mood lately and I'm really hoping it goes away soon. I've been unhappy more than usual and the awful dreams are coming back. Everytime I try to talk to someone about it, they become mad at me and suggest taking things of various nature and telling me to go to therapy using money I don't have. I mean, I understand what they're saying, I do. The way they say it makes me feel less than capable and even less of a person. Its time like this when I remember how awful aging is and how much worse it'll be down the road.
Does your work offer EAP for therapy? It might be worth checking out. I had no idea my employer offered free sessions until I asked my HR guys about it.

Just found out that Wolfgang from Sense8 is in a gay german film called Free Fall. I'm DEFINITELY watching that sometime soon.
Welp.
Pretty much. Its part of the reason I don't have a happy outlook in the job sector. I think about going back to school but I'd just be digging a bigger financial hole that I may not even get out of. Overqualified for entry level jobs, underqualified in my field.

And as a grad student your outlook would be pretty bright

If you're in a technical field, you have a passion for it, and the university has a branch dedicated to helping tech students get internships/co-ops/work-study, it can be done. I'm not saying it's easy; I don't know if I'll get the job and I need it or else I have to quit university from lack of funds.

However, due to my low GPA (3.1) a lot of schools with a masters program with that specific field won't take me in, which sucks. Not to mention no relevant research experience or the hyper-competitive nature of psych jobs. Job experience isn't enough. Psych internships, even unpaid ones, are actually very difficult to get a handle on. I tried applying to at least 8 (out of the 14 I qualified for) when I was still in college and I only got 2 callbacks, 0 acceptances. Add on the already strained financial situation and school just doesn't seem to be within my cards at the moment. Not sure if I'll ever see it within the next few years. Makes me kick myself for not being smart enough to do what he does.

I'm going into engineering, yes, but I'm still not gonna have an easy time finding a job as I chose to specialize in aero. Family constantly asks me "why not just do mechanical?". I don't want to do mechanical. Sure, its more general and makes finding a job easier, but if its not something I love why bother. What bothers me is all high schools pushing for 4 year colleges alone, and not really being realistic about degrees and career paths. Why not show someone how they could get a degree tangentially related to their passion, so they could get a career in that field? not all the links to majors and careers are logical. And some people would do ebtter in a tech school, or considering military. There is more than just "go get 4 year degree" out there.
yeah our football program sucks
I'll have you know you guys put up 27 against Auburn, and while they're undeniably having a terrible season, they've won over us before and that was not a game you guys got "destroyed" Pretty much everyone here at Alabama was rooting for you guys lol and hey at least you're not Georgia, they get excited and think they have a chance
i guess we're a lot better than what we were a few years ago and we made quite a few awesome plays that game but we made an equal amount of awful plays i don't even want to talk about the florida game a few weeks back (at least we made up for it with mizzou) [editline]16th October 2015[/editline] the interception at the end zone really fucked us over imo
The UW Huskies are facing the Oregon ducks tomorrow. We've lost against them for eleven years now. They're our biggest rivals out of the state so it'd be sorta nice to break this streak... [editline]16th October 2015[/editline] Between how the Mariners, Seahawks, and Huskies are doing this season has been on track for Seattle sports tbh
