says that on the bottle of most over-the-counter melatonin
Yeah, but it can be easy to miss.
Also you can't overdose on melatonin. The body can only metabolize so much. Its like those stupid fucking emergen-C things. You'll piss out most of the melatonin, I think the max metabolic capacity is 9µg. Or something. Its in that magnitude range, close enough. You took 10,000µg BookerK ;p
Caught a case of road rash today. Turns out shadowed parts of the road at 9am are still damp, and banking downhill onto rough loose concrete when a jogger forces you into a tighter line is a bad idea
oops
Ouch, how fast were you going?
snip
Ouch, how fast were you going?
no idea. there's just a fun downhill chicane near my house that i always take as fast as possible. Go wide initially, check for traffic and bank like hell, always fun. Picked the gravel out of my arm and rode away laughing
Yeah, I usually take 10 or 5mg, I've tried less before but it doesn't really affect me, I don't overdose on them though.
My snipped reply was that you can't overdose. Your body metabolizes the max amount it can, and this amount is static. Your tolerance to the chemical may be decreased, as in you aren't as affected, but if you have too many it will be pissed out. Like the majority of those bullshit emergen-C packets. So you'll be okay! Taking it earlier isn't terrible either, it can still reset your sleep cycle. If you have a really hard time with sleep cycle, consider a lightbox. Takes time for it to work and the wake-up's can be brutal, but may help in long run.
eeeeeeeeeee
Also I keep mad scientist-ing all my side projects. I want to make a guidance computer for simulating orbital maneuvers (while using an external "ground based" computer to do the hard math) that are then transferred to hardware commands. I was thinking of just using one Arduino, but now I'm thinking of getting my old RPi and chaining a bunch of Mega2560's to it, making a computer cluster where the RPi is the slave and the 2560's serve as math coprocessors. And I think I'll use my Nano to transfer status about the processors into visual cues either on lights, buttons, or a little OLED screen. I got a whole pile of 2560's with fried 5v regulators and misflashed bootloaders from my club, I've been reflashing the bad bootloaders by making one of the working arduinos into essentially a serial usb module so yay free stuff.
Honestly just procrastinating and attempting to not stress about my midterm tomorrow though, tbh.
I have no idea what you just said but it turned me on so much.

Anyway so two new things that I'm super happy about and want to share with y'all.
Number 1: Just put my first batch of pumpkin bread for this season into the oven! Yay! Most of it is for a work bakesale but I made a separate loaf for my dad and I to enjoy.
Number 2: I went out with my cousin tonight and got my first tattoo! It was really fun. Didn't hurt at all. She insisted on paying for it, which was super nice of her, so I took her out for dinner after.
It's more of a test tattoo than anything else, I'm getting a bigger piece December 11th, something my mom drew and I'm getting it done on her birthday as a remembrance for her. I wanted to make sure I'd be able to handle it and that I wouldn't have an adverse reaction to the ink.
[t]http://i.imgur.com/T81fwMf.jpg[/t]
It still has meaning, though. Settled on a minimalist design of a penrose triangle. Upright for strength and my astrological element, fire (I'm an aries, woo), with the three points symbolizing Creation, Preservation, and Destruction. I'm super happy with how it turned out!

don't open the door to my nerd talk or enthusiasm because the door never shuts. and since I have yet to actually start a true project on medication, my precedent of never finishing projects still stands. So it'll probably be forgotten about!
neat tatoo though. I've always wanted an upper arm sleeve of something like this (why on the leg?), and a number of other things but I literally don't have the surface area for tattoos since I'm so skinny. That, and the engineering sector (particularly astro research afaik) is still far more conservative than the tech sector and such so jobs wouldn't like it.
Finding meaning for both tattoos is good, though.

I have a design related to my late grandfather, who was the largest father figure in my life, but its even larger so I need mad gains first

"Why on the leg?"
...That's my arm, Paindoc. You can see my shoulder, chin, and beard in the picture. As well as my tank top and t-shirt. Did you think that was an up-skirt shot of my crotch? :v:
My next one like I said is gonna me something my mom drew. Probably the one after that too. After that I want to get a couple of those one-line tattoos:

My big one is going to be Yggdrasil on my back, with the boughs/canopy of the tree over my shoulderblades and the trunk and roots down my spine.
[editline]22nd October 2015[/editline]
Also I'm dead serious talk science to me. I don't know why but that shit turns me on so much it's fucking weird. The less I understand, the more interested I am, and if it's done in a way to be sexy (like with my ex, he'd usually end up tracing patterns on me somewhere teasingly as he trailed off about theoretical metaphysics or some shit) it was even better. :speedfap:

Hyper-intelligent foxmen with a tendency towards evil.
Paindoc please when you become a villain let me be your henchman. I'd be a good #2. I'm very diabolical.
I'm gonna get a dumb tattoo when I'm back from Florida next week. Might get it there if the mood sTRIKES FANCY

that's really nice, getting a semi art deco pinstripe vibe from it
I've always wanted to get rivets and sheet metal gap tattooed all over, weld seams on the underside of my arms, i always thought that'd look cool, either that or a TOW arrow on my arm

In terms of why on the leg, i was talking about the example I linked haha. They put it on their leg when I think that would work much better elsewhere. Line drawings are neat, my sister has a few really neat drawings and I would probably commission her for something like that. Or anything I wanted custom tbh.
Science gets me sometimes... guy I had a crush on was telling me about this thing he designed and the confidence combined with the rest meant that I nearly said "that's so hot" while trying to say "that's so cool". what actually came out was a rather choked sentence, haha

I am really trying to make this rocket science thing work. Which is why I was in the library for 7 hours yesterday and 4 hours today... I didn't study at all last year, not like this. Making up it for now.
I'm good at synthesizing and combining other's works into a greater whole. This project will involve me probably reaching out to my CS friends to cover the programming I can't do (communication), and I might borrow a friends 3D design skills so I can 3d print a rack/case for my little cluster thingy. I got in touch with the Professor running our Aero autonomous controls lab today so might head there too. He seems cool. I like hearing about other peoples passions, your enthusiasm about a subject you love makes me want to hear about it and learn about it from you. Applies to everyone really, fellow students, anyone in this thread, anyone on fp etc :D

Trying to get rank5 on my f2p account with a cheap aggro pala I made after ~10 arena runs and I've learned that every hunter on ladder has 2x Knife juggler + 2x Unleash the hounds in hand at all times, ridiculous.
I'll do it tomorrow, the deck is not refined and it feels shitty losing when you're playing aggro
