The clocks went back here again and it still spooks me.
"Man it's 2AM I should go to be-"
"Oh it's only 1AM."
It was weird seeing the time stamps in Steam chat logs jump from 1:59 back to 1 again.
America still has a week left before DST ends.
Oh, what a horrible day that'll be for me.
[sp]I'm gonna have to get used to all my friends outside Arizona moving back an hour while I stay in the same place.[/sp]

What brand was it?
I went to a "gaymer" party. It was awful. It was so loud and everyone was drunk.

Must have been the gayest party ever.

I know that feeling. Me and my best friends are the most 'straight-edge' people we know (no drugs, no alcohol). I personally never enjoyed the idea of getting drunk nor does alcohol taste pleasant.
nor does alcohol taste pleasant.
Drink better alcohol :v:
Try hard cider. Johnny Appleseed or Woodchuck Gumption are really good.

I tried an Angry Orchard once, it was pretty tasty. That said I'd probably never get drunk though. Every time I have to interact with anyone drunk it's pretty terrifying. I see people I respect reduced to dopey idiots. That more than anything is what keeps me from drinking.
i'm warming up to alcohol but i'd never get black out drunk
and i'd never do drugs ever
I went to a "gaymer" party. It was awful. It was so loud and everyone was drunk.
Dunno what you expected that sounds like a usual party
I had a victory cigar last night and to be honest I don't understand why people like smoking so much
Yea I tried everything once to understand why people did shit, why they make a big deal about drugs drinking and smoking and smoking is the only one that just tasted like ass for no benefit to me, I do it when I drink but its just something to do because the best moments happen outside the clubs in smoking areas. Thats how I've made most of my friends on nights out :v
I had a couple puffs as it's tradition when our team beats Tennessee, can't say I'd do it again
speaking of alcohol
coke and german brandy is surprisingly good. that said i dont see myself drinking alcohol in large quantities. sounds silly.
also i want a cute hat but iunno what.
Drinking is fun because it's a different experience. Why does anyone do anything fun? Why do people go on roller coasters? They're fun and they make you feel differently. It's alright if you have warranted objections to drugs or alcohol, but make sure you aren't limiting yourself to simply feel like you're above those who do partake.

This is the closest I have to winter wear.

It's also the only button-up shirt I own and comfy as fuck.
Such is life in the Sonoran Desert.

If you liked Angry Orchard you'd love the two I mentioned.
Just drink at home like I do. It's cheaper and you're less likely to make an ass of yourself.
I own two jackets right now and it's about to get cold here
One is my old Dunkin' Donuts jacket that I will never wear outside ever and the other is a light university themed cardigan.
I have to get something decent. I miss my old OD jacket, but it smelled of decaying plastic and smoke.

yeah but bomber jackets are kickin rad
i have my leather jacket but it makes me look like i gained 20 pounds :v:
Despite living in Florida I own three winter thingies!
My favorite coziest hoodie from GAP, a denim jacket, and a trench coat that I used once for a halloween costume.

I have two M56 field jackets as well. One has actual bullet holes (thats a story) and one smells of what I assume is agent orange and the gunpowder from the 155mm gun on the M551 Sheridan. Also have a fancy winter parka from the air force, but its my grandfathers so it has Col. Lee and the Colonel emblem thingy pasted everywhere. Along with the unit he was in :v:

I got the agent orange and gunpowder jacket from my step-grandfather, along with a flak vest that also reeks haha

I've got our club lab all to myself. this is now my lab.

more 3d printers in this room than there at many universities

I don't even know what I would do with 1 3d printer
a huge shelf array, a lid for the top of my pc, a mouse wire holder, a controller mount / steering wheel
maybe i could make 3d printed cloths

i wrote out a fairly detailed reply but essentially
right now they are mostly still primarily useful for engineering uses, or just for fun sorta shit. You can use them to make really neat things, or do stuff that is actually functional+fun, but I don't see a situation in the future where everyone has 3D printers in the home. Maybe I should be more optimistic as one of the officers of this club (lol such a joke title im the fuckin journalist), but the reality is what it is. We have a number of special-use machines. A few are dual extrusion capable, and the big blue box is a really huge 3d printer that we use for large scale printing. The rest mostly serve as backups since 3d printers are a 24/7 maintenance battle when they are used as much as ours are
my lab has a makergear m2

I'm waiting for the future where 3D printers can accurately, easily, and cheaply print in metal to the point where having them in a home is commonplace.
I want to 3D print silicone
