Greetings from our art room
That's rather depressing but at least its large, our art department is literally maybe one small classroom in the science building and our theatre department is literally a tiny house in the middle of campus. All the seats are front row!

Hey that Caution placard or whatever can be argued as post-modernist! Or abstract. Either one.

Looks like a neat after hours storage room to hang out in. Wouldn't want to have a class in there though.

We don't really have a set "class", it just happens to be out of the way and has a lot of art stuff available for use. The school's kiln is back there too, so it becomes a convenient art room.
I spend most of my day back there anyway
managed to do a lab that should've taken two lab classes to finish in one class

I swear a day doesn't go by that I don't learn about something my dad worked on that I had no clue about. I just found out he did the sound in Army Of Darkness and the Evil Deads

That is fucking AWESOME, what other work has he done?
That is fucking AWESOME, what other work has he done?
I cannot even begin to list all the stuff he's done sound on. A few that stand out though are Tron, The Black Hole, Dragon's Lair, and Space Ace!
Dragon's Lair and Space Ace in particular were interesting because the sound was recorded with 30fps in mind but the video was transferred to the LaserDisk in 29.97. Important because by the end of the game the audio would desynchronize by more than a second. So my dad had to recut every single audio piece to line it up with the video.
So went to get my car sorted at the garage last night. They had a look at it, told me about the issues with with and said they could fix it tomorrow (today) which i thought awesome! I only need to get a bus for tomorrow (today) instead! I asked what time they open because i'll need to give my car in early since i need to get the bus to work at about 7:30am and they said thats fine, although they only open at 9am, the park that their garage is in (industrial park) opens their gates at 7am.
So naturally i thought thats perfect, instead of me leaving my car at the garage over night, ill drop it off in the morning and then my partner can just take me to the bus stop on his way to work. Simple!
So we go to drop my car off in the morning at about 7:10am to give them a bit of time to open the gates, but they were closed. We waited there until the latest we possibly could to try and get my bus, so we were there till about 7:25am and still no luck.
Where do i stand with this? I left them a voicemail saying that i tried to get it into the park but it was still closed at 7:25.... Hopefully they will be able to fix it and possibly give me a reduction.
The annoying thing is, if they didn't say that it was open at 7am, i would have left it there last night for them to look at it and get my partner to pick me up. But they said the 7am thing so i thought it would be easier.
Opened myself up to someone I really liked and I thought liked me that I'd been spending time with.
I was wrong.
I don't know why I keep trying. I feel like at this point I should just give up because nothing I try works and I'm tired of hurting.

We all had bad experiences like that and trust me, giving up right now is only going to hurt yourself more.
The key to achieving happiness is persuasion. Don't look at how many times you've fallen, but how you still have that little spark that keeps you going, that tells you to try again. It can be tough and heartbreaking, but as long as you get back on your feet, you will always have another chance.
I learned it the hard way. I was a fool and I learned from my mistakes, but I keep going simply because I believe in myself. Do something that brings good thoughts into your heart and mind, look at the positive side of things, and most importantly, keep trying.
But what if you don't feel that little spark anymore? What do you do then? I haven't felt it in a while, I was hoping I could try and get it back but nothing I do seems to work.

Well, that sounds exactly like me a few days ago. I'm not gonna go into detail but let's say some people here know.
When you don't feel that spark, simply search for it. Surround yourself with the people and things you love. Listen to music that speaks for you, that describes you. Eventually you will find it.
Hope is never lost, it only changes shape.
