I am being trained to operate the most advanced potato cyst nematode machine..... In the world (it's one of three in existence and it's also used to impress foreign delegations.)
why does everyone know all this programming stuff
really, what's up with that?
i couldn't even write the first line of the most basic thing without messing up
how anyone manages to master it is a mystery to me

Having a basic knowledge of programming is pretty useful in a lot of fields of work today, even if you don't actively code.
It's also why you get some hicks that love cars like they love women and cheap booze who also happen to know all about the iOS and Android API's.
It's fucking raining sideways in Seattle what the fuck is this is I the end times

I tried autohotkey once
it was terrible

It's pretty easy with the right start! Once you're familiar with the basic stuff, it's pretty much just putting pieces together until it works
You'd think they'd just make something that is actually functional and straight forward to use but nope, gotta make it a complete clusterfuck of processes that all try to do their own things at the same time and assume they can do whatever they want.
I'm getting tempted to just bring my fucking laptop into college just so it can run under an admin account because the restricted user accounts we use on the network cause so many issues with it's assuming environment bullshit.
so you mean like all Google software?

I would sell both of my kidneys to get XCode for Android.

I wouldn't really call it 'mastering'. There is some stuff I sometimes don't understand and take me like days until I finally get it.
You gotta practice a lot to be really good at programming. Easiest way to start is to do easy stuff, such as working with "if else". Once you know the basics, it's pretty much ezpz lemon squezy.
Speaking of programming there's a guy trying to hit on q girl by talking about programming
This is fun to watch
damn girl, is that a buffer overflow in your pants?
violate my static voids
I hope you C my pointer
There is no easier way to hit on me then talking about programming. I absolutely melt for programming puns.
The only sex pun I can think of as a historian is "Hey baby wanna help me investigate the Youth Bulge Theory?" which sounds like something a paedophile would say.
I get my kicks from when people talk about potatoes and potato cyst nematode detection.
i have yet to think up of any puns
nerds are cute
The guy wasn't terribly adorable - it's pretty cute when someone is just super excited to talk about something they love and share it. Can usually make anyone's day by showing honest interest in what they love
I get too excited and talk too fast and end up stumbling over simple words. And then feel embarrassed and like I'm being annoying so I just grind to a halt :v:

Its easy to dabble but mastery is fullblown intimidating. Then again, its probably the only thing that matters today so v:smile:v

That is honestly really adorable. Anyone just gushing about how much they love something is really cute to me.

Like music? Easy to dabble but hard to master?
I guess I'd be considered a "nerd" but I hate referring to myself as one because everyone thinks of themselves as a nerd nowadays
I blame Big Bang Theory

Call yourself a geek instead?

There's a guy in my dorm who sits in the lobby and watches Big Bang Theory by himself on the couch in the lobby. He only laughs when the laugh track does I'm pretty sure.
The people at my college scare me.

It's not even that Big Bang Theory is a badly done example of "nerd culture" or whatever, it's just a really fucking shitty sitcom
Big Bad Laugh Track, the sitcom.
My mom loved the show and called me and my friends bazinga boys years ago because nerds or something it was very upsetting
