the American version is retarded
it's dramatized in such an absurd and untrustworthy way. they don't realize that gordon is amusing on his own
UK version is amazing though

UK one is the one I am watching, but I only watched a handful of US ones.
"*BEEP* IS *BEEP* *BEEEEEEEEEP*" the TV-series
[editline]20th November 2015[/editline]
And obviously the most exciting thing about watching an episode is going to the Kitchen Nightmares blog to see if the restaurant closed or not.

DRAMATIC SOUND
PAUSE
Kitchen Nightmares sucks
Gordon Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares rules
I think it's funny that the US improves on most every comedy or drama they steal from other countries, yet they totally fuck up with foreign reality shows
[editline]20th November 2015[/editline]
US the office is miles better than UK the office, US shameless is better than UK shameless
I never gave a shit about skins, but I hear fans like the UK version more

i've been staring at this fucking bar for 20 minutes and i can't do anything until it's done

We've still not been able to setup this POS at college. We're likely going to end up with admin accounts at the rate its going.

US reality shows are embarrassingly bad universally

not having an admin account is annoying anyway so
our school just gave us hard drive brackets so we can change workstations but keep our own personal installs
I was doing work in the lab (where as it turns out, our fancy machine constantly jams, throwing belts, and operating at well below expected capacity), when I finished laying out some samples and we were to take a trolley through to the other room with them.
As it turned out, as soon as the afternoon break ended at 3:30 everybody had already left the building, leaving us with a room devoid of researchers (several of them were already absent that day due to leave).
We've got the Japanese coming in a week or two to see our glorious potato machine, and last week we had the Northern Irish (my boss hasn't told them that we haven't tested for some pest that they are worried about) which means we'll have to wear our work aprons and gloves when working.

Amy's baking company episode is still the best.

The US Office is fine for about four seasons, but after Jim and Pam got together I completely stopped caring. I prefer the UK Office because it's less about the relationships and more about how working in an office just kills you inside (that and I've slowly been enjoying British comedy more and more)
[editline]20th November 2015[/editline]
Parks and Rec is basically a way better version of the US Office imo

Working in an office is amazing! What are you talking about? That show is completely false as I, a single individual, can tell you that working in an office is the best thing ever.
I <3 coworkers

parks and rec is great after the first season. the first season imo is really cringey.
Ron Swanson is my spirit animal.
Gordon Ramsey is my waifu.
"My kitchen isn't awful!"
"FUCK OFF!"
Amy's Baking Company is the best episode of Kitchen Nightmares.

I disabled adblock on Youtube weeks ago, but it simply isn't showing me ads

If you're still alive.
It's just a cold. So, yeah, I'm totally alive. I have a vocal training thingie on Monday (hopefully) and this cold came at the worst time ;_;

Singing lessons. Ehh, my head's gone. <.>
My grandfather is dying and I feel nothing but a vague idea that for my grandmother losing one of her sons (Uncle, motorcycle crash last year) and the only man that never walked out on her would be too much

I felt about the same when my second cousin died a couple of years ago.
It doesn't help that his wife doesn't seem to have let go at all, since she still uses his facebook account to post stuff fairly regularly.:why:
Its so surreal when you figure out a small town near you was the setting for an episode of the X-Files :v:

I used to live not to far from where they filmed the Cops crossover episode about a werewolf, I'm pretty sure.

There's a country song about North Carolina. Now I'm wondering if one exist for New York.
