What's up, religion :smug: ?

Here we go, pictures of the first collisions at this energy level are being analyzed.
Seriously though, nice timing with this and the whole pope thing :v:
It started raining here :tinfoil:
Oh come on, don't blame that on the beam collisions, Gordon is a well trained physicist and nothing bad is going to happen.
yay for anti matter production

It doesn't really help that they're looking for something called the "God Particle"
HUZZAH! A great day for science and stuff.... Hopefully this fad of "smashing atoms" is finally behind those scientists now and they can get onto the things that are actually important, like Jetpacks and Robot Butlers.

:byodood:
I think they picked the person with the worst english accent for the live stream.
There's going to be a lot of drunken nerd-sex tonight
For fuck's sake I missed it.

You called for it, but they are still getting loaded.
Did it work?
Ja but ze eleishcee syentistz arr besee.
it has been colliding for more then a hour
By the way, this collision has been done with 1/4 of the collision energy the LHC is built for.
It's quite weird how they can collide particles but fail in setting up a live webcast.
Oh fuck they have an Irish man running this stuff.

There is definitely gonna be some drunk nerd sex tonight then.
Fuck when are they going full power.
rift in time-space continuum and a portal to xen plz

The whole IT work on LHC is seems sometimes a bit shabby. They have most of the testing and controlling software running in Java.
Fuck when are they going full power.
I think that in like 2 years or something like that.
This can't cause black holes or time rifts. That's all bullshit. So please shut up about that shit.
Their boss sounds german.
The LHC is the path to the unknown things
It might even come out with a new colour
But of course instict tells humans that the unknown is a threat, rather then an opportunity.

2010 + 2 = 2012.
:psypop:
Apparently they're starting the full power tests on the 12th/21st December 2012.
Intresting shit, hope this opens the way to future advances in electronics :v:

Then why is there a black hole in my living room :smug:
