You should always be careful with key resellers. G2A had a lot of stolen Sniper Elite 3 keys which were pulled by the publisher, causing people to pose the game and their money (I think there were 13,000 all together). The thing is these websites mostly just facilitate other groups selling keys, so if those other groups do shady shit you have little to no protection from it.
The majority of the time you're probably fine. I've only heard of 2 occasions of keys being revoked and both times were third party sellers on G2A, who I would assume would end their affiliation with such sellers to maintain their reputation.

This isn't true, at least for sites like G2A and Kinguin. They have protection services that will replace a retracted/invalid/duplicated/whatever key. And as I mentioned in my previous post, G2A has replaced retracted keys in the past.
