damn I wish I had a good pic of mine when I was a skinny fuck Also, life lesson learned: Never eat chilli or beans before workout, fucking farts coming when I wanted to squat hnnnngggpfffff
that just means you can put more weight on the bar cuz gas propelled squats of peace
if you haven't let one rip mid squat or mid deadlift then you honestly have never really lifted in your life. i do it at least once a week
So, I need to be able to run an 8 minute mile, but i can currently run a 10 minute mile. I know the best way to reach this goal is to simply just run and keep closing the time gap. But how do i do this during a bulk and not slow down my gains? Im currently gaining 1 lb a week ( i know a lot of this is fat and noob gains/water weight, but at my current weight i SIMPLY NEED any type of weight, be it water weight, fat, lean muscle). Should I just add on another 500 calories to my diet to compensate for adding cardio? Or just run a mile twice a week, and let the 8 minute mile come to me in time?

Don't just set yourself up to run 1 and be out of energy. I mean to be honest I barely ever run, but I do other cardio exercises at the dojo (not sure if you read the martial arts thread, but yeah I train martial arts) and I can run a 7:25 mile fairly easy. Best I've ever done was a 6:50.
suppliment L-glutamine if you're worried about the cardio turning you catabolic
stop browsing bb.com, glutamine in any of it's forms is not "anti-catabolic" as if there's such a thing anyways..... scoutking, it's all trial and error, do cardio and if you are still gaining then it's fine. although excessive weight gain for someone who a few months over "beginner" status sounds completely redundant for achieving your goals.
I've seen this exact pic posted a long time ago
I forgot if I posted this or not, sorry. But I'll post another pic added to it in about a week. No mass gain just a little more cut

[editline]20th March 2013[/editline] also finally bought a belt hngggg
Cycle it at 10 - 20 grams a day for your first week then take 2-5 grams for maintenance after that. or Just take 5 grams every day. You'll notice the effects a bit sooner if you cycle though.

So squats went better today. Didn't feel any pain in my hip, and only a minor amount in right below my knee. I slowed things down a little and paid attention to how I was squatting and I guess I was kind of improperly balancing/shifting my weight; like I would lean too much or something when I was squatting down. I also skipped my warmup routine of a light treadmill run and stretching, and just went straight in to warmup reps. Only stretched after I finished everything. Seemed to work pretty well, and saved me a little time. Now another question I have for you guys (that do Stronglifts 5x5). I kind of already have an answer to it, since Mehdi went over it in one of his videos. I know the program says to only do 1 set for deadlifts because they are draining and you'll never get in another 4 sets, but is doing 2 sets equally as bad? I'm probably getting away with it since the weight isn't really extreme yet (did a warmup set of 100LBs and then the main set which was 120LBs). I fucking love deadlifts so much that I always want to do another set anyways, so maybe that is part of it.
Coach is having the team lift weights with the football team for offseason lifting D3 basketball btw Sorta looking forward to it
so i learnt the value of dropsets nothing like curling 1/3rd bw and then straight after struggling to lift 5kg
