Weightlifting/Bodybuilding Thread V.5 - How do I lift?
1,000 replies, posted
Thanks bro, need to relax.
These past few weeks, I've just started to have a shitload of energy 24/7, after a work out, I'll be drained for maybe a hour or two then I'll just have shitload of energy again and I really need to do something.
I know that there isn't really a point to work out twice in a day or 7 times a week though, I think I'll just find myself something physical to do that doesn't have to do with lifting weight just so that I can use up that energy somewhere.

This week's gon be gud.
Going back on my cut, going to buy new dumb bell bars because mines are fucked beyond belief and probably going to go pick up some creatine tommorow.

Oh also, is there an amount of time that one should take creatine for? Like, should I take a break from it after some time or can I just keep taking it.

Just keep taking it. Some people say to take a loading phase and some people say don't, but it's just up to personal preference.
Might go pick up multivitamins and fish oil by the same occasion.

would be ideal.
6'4" here, have a history of back pain and bad sitting form.
Little bit scared of doing barbell/pendlay rows, afraid I will fuck my back so hard it will make me cry. Can I do other exercises to train back a bit before doing those or souldn't I be afraid as long as I do them with correct form.
if you can achieve neutral spine alignment, then why not? if you are compensating in anyway, then no ....
you should focus on improving mobility and range of motion. do stuff like pulldowns, rows, cable crossovers shit like that

The muscular system works in unison, even so called "isolation" exercises arent truly isolated.
Those lifts are what we call compound lifts, they are exercises that have a lot of activation across a wide group of muscle groups. So for example with a bench press you aren't just placing stress on the pectorals, but also majorly on your triceps and also your deltoids to a lesser extent.
Think of them as whole body lifts if you will. The deadlift especially.
Fuck, didn't get the time to pick up my multivitamins, fish oil and creatine.
I did buy a 5 feet barbell for upper body work because a 7 feet one was really unwieldy to use and dad bought a lifting belt because he's scared about his back fucking exploding and I might use it.
Set for some time, now all I need is one of these belts that I can attach plates to because I can do like a million dips without a hitch and it sucks.

Shit, might as well buy a neck harness if I find one by the same occasion.
we should have a drinking contest
I've got a liver made out of solid fuckyounium apparently from all the past generations of alcoholics there is in my family, it's ridiculous how much I can drink.
i weigh 260lbs doe
there are times i would finish a fifth of liquor in a single night
not the prettiest nights tho
i weigh 260lbs doe
used to weight 265lbs doe and my endurance actually went up since then for some unknown fucking reasons.
idk. maybe cuz u have more muscle. I know when i go drinking with my dude who's 330 lbs and benches 450 that if i kept up with him i would probably die of alcohol poisoning.
Man can drink so much and not even be white boy wasted. Could probably kill a whole case himself and not puke/pass out
I can finish 12 packs without much trouble.
What stretches do you guys do after workouts?
I only know leg ones from track.
i stretch my penis
hamstring, quads, calves, hip flexors, glutes, stabilstion uni-lateral shit, wrists , traps, internal external rotation, thoracic extension, lats along with long head of triceps , neck, chest
that's it , look those parts up
just back from dubai, it was fukcin amazingggggg. so many hot rich biches too

IDK being bigger hasn't increased alcohol tolerance for me as much as it has dramatically slowed down how quickly i notice Im drunk.
Made the mistake one night of having 7 rums at a restruant while we were all out for dinner, got outside and said "wow im not even tipsy yet". So i kept drinking. And drinking. and drinking.
yeah that was one of those nights were you get out of the taxi and lay down on the grass and have to do breathing exercises for a good 20 minutes just so you dont throw up over fucking everything.
we're close to the end :((((((((
