Some low powered explosives are placed on trees and a small trench is created.

The pods touch down with enough force to bury each one several inches in the hard packed earth. The sound dies away, and all is quiet save the crashing of the waves against the rock.
Epic snippity!
You missed a lot of guys. :v:
World map declare, when Pro is ready...

The Tau'ri mark their territory.
Hmm, which army should I use?

-The British Empire marks its territory.
The British empire

-Two raider dropships level out and suvey the ground for a possible location for a head quarters
The British empire
Post apocalyptic, America and Japan fighting each other, empire goes about claiming what is rightfully theirs without being noticed.
This isn't Earth though.
I love the way your dropships are open for the troops Grimgor. They look cool.
Guess I should of marked my tile earlier then, now its been taken. Silly Elf not being able to track how has which tile :v:
Gah sorry, I don't keep a track, I just give people numbers and say take it if it isn't taken. :v:
Uhh, which one did you want? Maybe you could ask the person to move or something?
The Ky'shi move into the area.

Pretty funny how I'm the only one with food resources and a somewhat primitive army. Better find weapons in my destroyed base, if they're still there after at least 10,200 years.
You gave me 8, but I don't mind as I might just not join this since I don't have an army to use.

OH fail, sorry. Meh, you could use your UNSC?

You have loads of complete armies though, just come up with a quick excuse/backstory as to why they're on a different planet. Mabye the HECU are teleported onto this planet through Xen, and have to survive and fight Xenians?
Eventually, you could ally with someone with interplanetary transportation tech (me :v:) and get more pimps.
The sound of planes dragged on in the distance, and the air was rippled by the entrance of colonies far and wide. It had been discovered, Xari 7 - finally discovered by the vast races from all over the universe. The time, has come.
This gives anyone reason to use any army pretty much. :v:

Then, there was a beep followed by a boom.

-The raiders land and the troops disembark, they proced to stand around observing the land or in the case of the servitors, stand there looking quite content to be doing nothing
"Oh to walk upon a new land, come, let us build a fort"
Humph, all these people coming and building forts all over mah home planet :v:
Dem kids, all over mah lawn.
Should I use my clones/vader's fist?
Elf, RoN?
Does this look like the off-topic thread to you!?
Yes :ninja:
As you can see, I got very, very bored. Mountains are from the ranges around mine and the map as shown on the World Map, and I decided the sand looked so damn plain I just had to make it look sketchy.
Anyway..

All is normal for patrol duty on the Ky'shi outpost KTK-091, until a freak sandstorm managed to blast the sand from the opposing canyon towards their own. The base was buried beneath a layer of sand, trapping all individuals inside and burying them.
At least 10,000 years later, a sudden shifting in the sand below brought the level down by pouring it through the remnants of the old outpost. The entry is revealed, along with some unfortunate soldiers that were trapped within the sand at the main gate. They wake up, dazed from their 100-century sleep, to find their world is somewhat different. Much fewer are the rare crystals that used to dot the landscape for miles to come, now more plants have decided to take over.
These soldiers, 2 Drones, a Swarmer, 2 Preachers and a Converter are now exploring the new landscape.
Well, that was fun, kiddies, now wasn't it?
My god Pocket you have time on your hands! :v: Brilliant map.

-Building continues, the Enginseer starts to broadcast a signal on the vox communications.
Thanks; the secret is to listen to Weird AL songs and eat M&Ms.
Took me a damn long time, but it's worth it for something I'll be using as long as this.
