Get them at Costco or something, they go for about $30 there. Fucking amazing earphones.
Can anyone suggest some headphones that will hold up under abuse? I seem to destroy all my headphones in about a month of use.
All earbuds are exactly the same, if you buy any for more than 5 dollars you have been ripped off massively.

Bitches don't know 'bout drivers.

I have these and I love them.
What? No one said to buy 'Razor' headphones. The OP wants a good pair of buds, and we want to direct him in the right direction. He wants to get the best bang for his buck. He could get a shit pair with cheap ass drivers and casing that breaks within days, or a quality pair with beautiful quality for the cost, with an attractive/durable casing. You can't compare a pair of high end Sennheisers to a pair of the shit that apple gives away. There are clear and profound differences in quality.
Like the user above said, 'You're clearly retarded.' Don't post unless you know what you're saying. Better yet, don't post at all - given your inability to distinguish between when you do know what you're talking about and when you don't it's safe to say that you'll never make a quality or educated post.
[editline]18th December 2010[/editline]
It could very well be that they're just rebranded with Sennheisers name with cheap parts. I'd like to think that a company with their reputation wouldn't do that, but most companies do.
Okay then, you have fun paying 40 dollars extra for "better looks", just to have it break 2 months later.
skull candy looks good and has quality

You mean it looks good and nothing else.
I used JVC earbuds for quite a while, I guess I can recommend them, no problem with them at all.
Same here. JVC is a good brand.

The quick Facepunch guide to buying Headphones
Do: Choose reputable brands: Sennheiser, Audio-Technica, etc.
-Ask for advice on reputable forums like head-fi.org
-Do your research. Compare retailer prices to online prices. Don't pay $230 for $100 headphones.
-Try them out if you aren't ordering online.
Do not:
-Buy headphones that look "cool" or have "style" I.E: Dr. Dre Beats, SkullCandy, etc.
-Buy headphones based on advice with no support. Again, do your research. I.E: 'I have Skull Candies and they sound great!'
-Choose unknown brands. (Note: Can be excepted if you can find reviews in support of the headphones, or they are recommended to you by someone who knows what they are talking about. Your best friend is not someone who "knows what is he talking about." Well, unless YOU know that HE knows. )
trust me man, they're number 3 on my list
number 1 being these

Have you compared the sound quality to that of a generic ear bud?
i had some sonys and crap ipod ones, both sucked
skulls were better by far, but the damn gels are too loose when they fit in your ear and if you dont fit them in good then they sound like ass
most of what i listen to is bass heavy tho

Hahahaha. Bass response on titans is shit.
What are you talking about? I listen to about 75% rap/dubstep, all of which is bass heavy. I have my EQ set to be higher on low and high-end sounds. I had two pairs of skullcandies. Smokin' Buds, and Titans. Both had shittier bass response than a $30 pair of Koss headphones from Wal-Mart.
Now I've got a pair of Klipsch, which are better than all of them. Skullcandies blow hardcore.
dubstep is GAY

You're an idiot, haha.
These things, they're great.

JVC Marshmallow are the best in ear buds you will find for the price at a store. If you can order some, get Sennheiser's, but if you're going to run to walmart or bestbuy, get the JVCs. They sound decent and have insanely good isolation for $20 bucks.
had these for at least a year or so now, they're great. highly recommend getting these

Take a look at this thread: http://www.head-fi.org/forum/thread/478568/multi-iem-review-127-iems-compared-db-logic-ep-100-skullcandy-fmj-added-12-17
There's different price tiers and a total of 127 earbuds compared.
Do you guys think that Coby CVEM79 Jammerz Platinum are ok? I read some decent reviews.
