I still can't stop listening to Cole world: Sideline Story.. I don't know if it's just me, but the album truly is a classic like he said.
J. Cole is the humblest of rappers
Not really my style but a guy I used to go to school with made this, its not too shabby.
He's a top guy and works hard on stuff like this, gotta hand it to him.
Do they even have beef? It's fucking stupid how some idiot will think that he can get famous by starting shit with rappers who are more famous than him (a la Hopsin)
Not really. J. Cole mentioned Diggy in Grew Up Fast but it wasn't really a diss.
They're not technically decent rappers. Especially not J Cole, he has some of the worst flow I've ever heard.
To each his own I suppose
Rap beefs are a bit dated anyways. They sound like two teddy bears having a slap fight
You know it's bad when even Drake calls you out for it.
Yeah Killarmy is here!

The fuck's with the J. Cole hate in here all of a sudden? Maybe his album didn't quite meet the expectations of his fans, but that's because it was a trying to aim at a more main stream audience, and it was successful in making his name a little bigger. If you seriously think Friday Night Lights and the Warm Up were just average well.. differing opinions I guess.
And in no way did he hype his album up like you're describing at all, as someone already said he's a pretty humble dude.
[editline]5th April 2012[/editline]
I've never even heard of diggy simmons before this diss track actually, so seems kinda like what Hopsin was doing, dissing rappers way more well known to get his name out there too..
Gonna see him at a cafe in SF on the 4th. I'll let ya guys know how it goes
Just got back. It was awesome. I can't really even describe it. When he talks it's like you've known him forever. He got Aesop Rock to show up and do a couple songs(None Shall Pass, Catacomb Kids, and a new song from his upcoming album) before he came on and did 7-8 songs. Ended it with Forest Whitaker and then Take Me Home. Did some either freestyling or reciting something he wrote at the end. It was all very personal and raw. I even met the keyboardist. He's doing a tour in the fall for his new album soooo go see him then. I know I will.
so apparently someone from the show has videos up already. It hasn't even been 8 hours yet lol

Not exactly Hip-Hop, but they did some covers of HipHop instrumentals.
BADBADNOTGOOD is great, and their latest album is no exception.

Not sure if you guys heard, but a few days ago Charles Hamilton announced his official retirement from everything music related.
A damn shame, he had GREAT potential. Could of been one of the best producers ever.

Hope he reconsiders and hooks up with some real talent.
His latest stuff is bad quality, and not that great. When he was hooking up with Lupe, B.o.B, and Blu he was fantastic.
The Two Left Feet beat sounds pretty good, but the other two just sound really badly put together and not enjoyable to listen to.
whats do you guys think about Del the Funkee homosapien?
i used to hear him on gorillaz when i was a kid and now that i know his name i was wondering which album, if any, should i start with first.
I loved him on Clint Eastwood. Don't know much about him but from what I've heard his first album has the whole 'west coast gangsta rap' sound while his other albums depart from that quite a lot.
DJ Khalil
My favorite beats from him:

He also had some cool shit on Eminem's Recovery.

No Need For Alarm is good. Both Sides of the Brain is your best bet.

A lot Del fans like Deltron 3030 too. Idk, I never gave it a fair listen. I always liked this song though.

After hearing that new song I remain skeptical.
