Okay funny guy. This is quite possibly my favorite hip hop group. The sad thing is that I bet you had no idea they existed (or that they don't, lol).
I bet you've never heard of trainspotters or daedelus or that really weird thing madlib did where he sampled the same song 6 times. This doesn't make you inferior to me in any way, you simply do not interest yourself in the same things as me and therefore you haven't discovered that stuff.
Oh and music is not about technical prowess, some people are nice to listen to without having multisyllabic triple entendre rhymes
I'm uncertain of what you're trying to say here. On top of that, I haven't even mentioned the word mainstream, let alone how I feel about it, in this entire thread you goof.

I am an elitist fuck and I am okay with that.

I like it
I have always just seen krizz as techs sidekick, but recently listened to him a bit more and he has got mad talent, strange music really do have a good lineup these days
Yeah obviously the only reason people think Childish Gambino's flow is good is because they've never been exposed to good flow before.
He's right thou, the dudes flow is weak. Shame thou, I like his stand up and acting but he should stick to those.
I bet you've never heard of trainspotters or daedelus or that really weird thing madlib did where he sampled the same song 6 times. Right
I am genuinely interested in finding good music that I have yet to discover.
And anyway, how does one not interest themselves in something they do not know of?
I think some people didn't understand the joke I made with that "I bet you had no idea they existed" comment. It was just an existential joke relating to the lyrics of the first song I posted.
Oh and music is not about technical prowess, some people are nice to listen to without having multisyllabic triple entendre rhymes
Right. I agree with you, but I also believe good hip hop artists should be intelligent.
Gambino is great, but he isn't "fucking amazing." There are better artists but there are also far worse ones. He's fine, just don't put him on a pedestal.
He's a good rapper and his flow is one of the most appealing things about him. I'm not saying he's the best or anything but he is good. Schnibbles I think I was a bit of dick so sorry for attacking you for your opinion, but you should be more open minded when it comes to rappers instead of being an 'elitist fuck' as you say.
Might be old but...

A$AP's flow is actually extremely good. So are his rhyme schemes. But this beat would be really fun to play with.
Idk what it is, but his raps are sounding better and better. Like his verses on Goldie.

So good.
Just picked up the instrumental version of this album at the record store the other day, and good god... The beats are really dope.

this is two short beats, the second one is great.

unrelated album, but very under rated

Here's another few bars that I shit out the other day. Any criticism is much appreciated, from a lyrical standpoint.
Your bitch rockin’ Hollister, my queen draped in all them furs
Take some Tech and take some Murs, and twist it up like Oliver
My hands are all over her, call it that shit a cavity search
Freak girl with a sweet tooth, I’m a Dentist baby, this a cavity search
Make it quick, I’m with your girl, we’re in your house, gotta quench the thirst
She take the dick, I make her toes curl, make the bed bounce, and then I make it hurt
Crazy bitch, she know me, need some stitches in the bed sheets
Cause I Rip it up, I tear it up, pour it up, then drain my cup
You fuck it up and then muck it up, don’t duck them sluts, you just bust a nut
This beat is kinda tight, but everybody in the spot just tryna fight
I get on stage and rock the mic with violent might, I’m military like high and tight
When you spit the crowd’s Christmas… Silent Night
Summertime, yeah may’s back, and I bet that, when I say that, you wanna lay back in my Maybach.
Fuck that, I can’t afford that shit, Ladybug, my little ford’s my shit.
Look at him, that man you’re with, less suave than my shower, trick
It’s all good, don’t trip, I’m magic man I turn it into power
Can’t tell what’s the hour, past the diamonds in the bezel, bitch get on my level
All the paper, it’s embezzled, eyes redder than the devil’s
White collar crime, grind the beef until it settles
Infected like I’m sick in this
my flow’s quite ridiculous
Hitman yeah I’m killin it
20k, I’m billin’ it
Put the game to bed, I killed the shit
Show me love, no pills in it
Dick and dip, that’s how I live
Keep it southern homie, keep it trill
Yeah I run that cash flow, that fuckin’ Louie bag swole
While you take that black pole in the back do’ you asshole
Better move her out fast bro, I’ll take her like your last ho
Yeah she like the swag, and plus she know I rap so
Next thing you know, I’ve got her home, got this lass with a lasso
Tied around her neck, I’m gassed though, tryna pass go
And collect, it was just too fast though, she want mo’, she ask fo’
I give her wood like a lumberjack, I’m just a rapper though.
Your bitch she a circus freak, I lay pipe on the trapeze
And when I break her back, you can call it acrobat-ic
Don’t fire rounds or you’ll see a mac attack
It’s fire in the building, I’m chill with the children
Even though I’m killing, all their favorite rappers
Then I take their bitches, if she fine I tap her
Takin’ lives like Murder Inc, my diamonds is panther pink
Every word I write is priceless, it’s like I spit in diamond ink
Sorry if this is irritating guys. I only do it here because I respect your opinion.

I like how these two lines flow, reminds me slightly of some ASAP Rocky lines works
I got in a 40 minute argument with a kid who was telling me that Aesop Rock was black, and that his name is actually Asap Rocky.
Genius if troll.
Genius if troll.
well, he did say he was automatically "part black" because he's from Detroit :/

Haha that's like the opposite of the first time of I heard of ASAP Rocky
"Hey man have you heard of ASAP Rocky"
"You mean Aesop Rock?"
"ASAP Rocky, he just put out a new video"
"I think you mean Aesop Rock"
*days later, on YouTube*
"Ohhh"

Once again your use of many syllables is great and the lyrics are pretty good. I spotted a few parts where the words don't really rhyme but I guess it all depends on your accent. Also remember to switch up what you're rapping about, instead of just braggadocio the whole time.

Yeah, A$AP has a load of internal rhymes in most of his things.

Haha thank you for the criticism. I definitely have some lyrical kinks to work out as far as the rhyme schemes go. I've also got some verses that are a little less in-your-face bragging, because that gets old fast, obviously. Like this one, set to the instrumental for Hate it or Love it.
Growin’ up middle class, and white besides
Daydreamin’ bout black cars with white insides
There’s no fight to survive, but I fight to strive
And I know four or five homies who ain’t alive
Be it gunshots or cancer, death’s the answer
I’m bout to beg the question, is life a blessin
Cause it’s easy for me, but the peeps before me
Had to work for it, yeah they hurt for it
Burn this purple floral and question the moral
What’s the worth in it if there’s no mirth in it
We got no choice, we’re all birthed in it
For the first minute there’s no hate
Then you learn, pick it up and turn
it on others, but brothers ain’t about color
It’s bout spirit, play the chorus so everyone can hear it
Also, on that note, Hate it or Love it is an incredible song. I miss when The Game and 50 were on top and working together.

Personally i felt a little disappointed with this song, its just felt like n'ers in paris - lite (not suprising I guess as hit-boy produced)
For me anyway, I always liked ye most when he is on his college dropout vibe, less of the hard party songs but more of the storytelling stuff
Yea it did feel a lot like niggas in paris but that was probably my favourite track of last year so some similarity doesn't go down wrong with me :v:
The college dropout was great yeah. Production on it is excellent. Use of all the soul samples and stuff really puts it on its own
Hes never done anything bad though its all at least 8/10 imo
Except 808s and heartbreaks im not a big fan of that, not terribe but its basically just a lot of autotune hooks. Cool minimalist beats nd stuff tho
