It boggles my mind why some people even consider watching any other way.
that reminds me of that SZS chapter about people beginning with the spinoffs and then watching the real thing
The masterpiece part was exaggeration, I meant the 'all better?' part. Why is this a discussion?
It's a discussion because I love discussing about minor stuff that doesn't really matter and nobody really cares about. It's fun. I also feel like I've discussed most of the major stuff to death anyways. You know, the philosophical stuff. Morality. Psychology. Religion and blalbalbala. Well, not politics and history, but that doesn't really interest me anyways.
I want to discuss cutlery metaphors.
They're quite sharp. Well, most of them at least.
They're quite sharp. Well, most of them at least.
Would a fork be used in one?
Would a fork be used in one?
Sure. Uh. Your... Eh... Your questions are like a fork.... Eh... They're full of holes and... Something.
They're quite sharp. Well, most of them at least.
GMF Pun thread worthy
I've just noticed, the "nickname" for Misaka literally translates to "Super electromagnetic cannon", wouldn't be more logical to name her something like EMP rather than Railgun?
I've just noticed, the "nickname" for Misaka literally translates to "Super electromagnetic cannon", wouldn't be more logical to name her something like EMP rather than Railgun?
No simply because Railgun is easier to say.
I've just noticed, the "nickname" for Misaka literally translates to "Super electromagnetic cannon", wouldn't be more logical to name her something like EMP rather than Railgun?
Because To Aru Kagaku no EMP sounds cool :colbert:
for posting in a ban-me it will only be a temp.
A temporary ban for posting in a ban-me oh you so funny.
I've just noticed, the "nickname" for Misaka literally translates to "Super electromagnetic cannon", wouldn't be more logical to name her something like EMP rather than Railgun?
It would be pretty dumb
Sure. Uh. Your... Eh... Your questions are like a fork.... Eh... They're full of holes and... Something.
Your arguement is like a spoon, it holds little weight and and easily falls to the ground.
I've just noticed, the "nickname" for Misaka literally translates to "Super electromagnetic cannon", wouldn't be more logical to name her something like EMP rather than Railgun?
Railgun is the name of her move. So why would they?
what does biribiri mean? (The nickname Touma gives to Misaka in railgun) Yahoo answers said:
Biribiri is the sound effect made when tearing a piece of paper (like "rip"), or it can be the sound made when there's great tension between two people (like "bzzzzzzz"). So biribiri girl may mean that they snap easily or is always inviting a fight.
True or False :colbert: [editline]11:50PM[/editline]
Railgun is the name of her move. So why would they?
I think he's implying that her move should of been called EMP or EMP shot or whatever
Your arguement is like a spoon, it holds little weight and and easily falls to the ground.
Your argument is like a knife, it's fun to play with it. I think.
I've just noticed, the "nickname" for Misaka literally translates to "Super electromagnetic cannon", wouldn't be more logical to name her something like EMP rather than Railgun?
Uh, that's what a railgun is. It fires a metal round by accelerating it with electromagnets. An EMP is completely different.
I think he's implying that her move should of been called EMP or EMP shot or whatever
That would be extremely retarded. And it's anime, they need to have catchy names for their stuff.
Watching TTGL. Wow.
Watching TTGL. Wow.
The show or the movie. [editline]06:55PM[/editline] Never mind that was a retarded question I guess you're watching the show.
what does biribiri mean? (The nickname Touma gives to Misaka in railgun) Yahoo answers said: True or False :colbert:
Pretty sure it's false. I've always just been under the impression that the name Biribiri was just an onomatopoeia, aka it's meant to sound like the "electricity" she has power over. Which it does.

No not really. It's more directed at the everyday arguments that happen in here.
Uh, that's what a railgun is. It fires a metal round by accelerating it with electromagnets. An EMP is completely different.
EMP is essentially what Misaka's ability is; since she does not necessarily needs a projectile to to use electrical impulses.
Railgun is the name of her move. So why would they?
I didn't really pay attention to the fact that her move was called that. At the same time, I didn't say that EMP is a better name. I was simply implying that it might be more logical to call her something in the categories of EMP, not necessarily EMP itself as the name.
EMP is essentially what Misaka's ability is; since she does not necessarily needs a projectile to to use electrical impulses.
According to Wikipedia, EMP is: A burst of electromagnetic radiation that results from an explosion (especially a nuclear explosion) or a suddenly fluctuating magnetic field. The resulting electric and magnetic fields may couple with electrical/electronic systems to produce damaging current and voltage surges.
EMP is essentially what Misaka's ability is; since she does not necessarily needs a projectile to to use electrical impulses.
Yeah, but the main thing she tends to use it for is a Railgun. That and the fact the name sounds "cooler" in an anime is a perfectly acceptable answer as to why it should be called that.
According to Wikipedia, EMP is: A burst of electromagnetic radiation that results from an explosion (especially a nuclear explosion) or a suddenly fluctuating magnetic field. A broadband, high-intensity, short-duration burst of electromagnetic energy. Either way, who knows how their body works in anime. Although the creation of the power is unknown, but the outcome of Misaka's power do resembles EMP
I didn't really pay attention to the fact that her move was called that. At the same time, I didn't say that EMP is a better name. Valve named it the Fancy Fedora, not Fancy Trilby because Fancy Fedora is more catchy and it's an alliteration.
EMP sounds so lame. Dunno why you'd like them to call it that.
