and museums probably.
Well I finally received this. Definitely the coolest record I own.
The Ocean Collective - "Pelagial"
It came with an instrumental version as well as the vocal version spread across 4x10" records.

Looks swell, could it sound swell too? :)
man that looks fantastic. i need to give pelagial another spin
has anyone gotten their TWIABP Record? I guess it came out almost a month ago, I called top shelfs owner and emailed him and have not received a reply
there were some problems with the initial presses, where they split the tracks wrong over the different sides. there are 500 copies of that misprinted press circling around at record stores.
i think they are mailing out the actual legit copies now though.
lol ive spent $80 on a tool record because of nostalgia :(
post-purchase regret
are you fucking serious that's disgusting
jk it was just $50
anyone have any non-circular vinyl?
I've got this 10" Ouija board thing from The Mars Volta's Bedlam in Goliath

song sucks on it, but it's cool to look at and was complimentary with the album.

ive seen a few but theres never really been a band that has put out one that i've cared for. most bands that do that are gimmicky or they are like weird artifacts from an age when vinyl was a dying format

wish I had one of those autoloaders.
would work wonders with double LPs..
[editline]22nd July 2013[/editline]
well.. only the ones with are side 1-4 and 2-3 which I don't see a lot, come to think of it :-(
that's like a 60s and 70s thing only pretty much.
My Frank Zappa album is like that, as is my live Rush album. Why did they do it like that? I've always wondered.

to be more of a pain in the ass
automatic record changers just never caught on... they could have been great but yeah.
too much room for error imo. there's a reason only jukeboxes use them
i feel like jukeboxes are making a return
i get a lot of customers @ my store lately who are looking for jukebox singles
jukebox singles are a lot cheaper than standard, etc. doesnt mean they will necessarily use them in an actual jukebox
nah they just want them with the big center holes instead of the small ones they dont care about the price
maybe they just really like 45 adapters
